The best way to progress is with a few checks on your network first. Can you please read my article below:

Are you using a mesh WiFi system? If yes, can you temporarily connect one device to your base WiFi node and retest.
If no mesh WiFi, then please connect any Sonos device to your router via an ethernet cable temporarily and retest.
Fully agree. The new app is absolute rubbish. Luckily I still have the old app on an old iPad, otherwise I’d have to sell this useless junk.
I have been a proud owner of Sonos since 2008 or so…: the application is still in a state of crap! Search bar at the bottom of screen in the same colour as the rest of the application. You need to have the hands of a two year old and the eyesight of a hawk to be able to fiddle with the system. U can use the volume controls of the iPhone if u r in Bluetooth mode otherwise u have to go in to the application. How can it be soo bad after 6 months and a letter from the ceo… to in essence say oops sorry we are working on it… no changes to the design!

Apple forced the removal of the hardware buttons for volume control a heck of a long time ago, so I don’t know what you’ve said to Apple over that issue?
Getting trolled in the Sonos community… new app needs a serious upgrade… I invested in Sonos big time not saying anything about the quality of their loudspeakers. It’s the app that needs a redesign! I don’t contract with apple but with Sonos check your terms and conditions.
You actually do ‘contract’ with Apple, each and every time you accept their terms and conditions of using their operating system. Which is every time it updates to a new version. It’s liable that you don’t normally think about this, most people click through the legal acceptance for all software, but it is there, for both Apple, and for Sonos. Check with a lawyer.
