Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Every one facing the same terrible customer service from the support center ? Waited 48 minutes to get connected and they said hello and could hear so many people talking in the background, then went on mute and dropped off the call in few seconds ! All that waiting is waste .. trying to call back and now waiting time is 40 minutes ..  my arc won’t connect to surrounds and subs .. tuning doesn’t work, diagnostics doesn’t work, literally most of the app doesn’t work..  been in this situation for months and finally thought of calling customer care and it’s so frustrating !  anyone got fix from customer support or just need to wait got app fix in next few years ? 

I am trying to connect a Play:1.  It connects to the system but says it is not registered and the ‘Fix It’ button does not work.  I have tried rebooting and reconnecting several times.  I have also tried connecting the speaker via an ethernet cable, but when I do that the system does not find it.   Moderator Note - Recorded and removed diagnostics number.

Sonos connects , playsonesong, then loses connection 

My speakers have been offline since I switched my internet connection.  However the app won’t allow me to update the information for the new connection. The button to do so is basically frozen. It won’t work or allow me access to that menu.  Anyone else having this issue?  I have erased and re-downloaded the app, updated it, everything has been done!

When I choose YT Music from the Sonos music menu, all I see is a folder for playlists. When searching for specific songs/albums/artists in Sonos search, I never get any results. The only way I can get it to work on Sonos is just via AirPlay. Am I missing something or is the YT Music integration that limited?

Music skipping around within songs. Forward and back, almost entire verses it seems. System is 2 Era 100s connected with Ethernet now to the same ethernet switch. Gig internet with plenty of bandwidth available. Only happens when streaming from services in the Sonos app (I only use Apple Music). AirPlay seems unaffected. I had the same issue when using WiFi so I switched to Ethernet. I assumed that using Ethernet for both speakers connected to the same switch would fix any timing issues.

I have tried 10 times to update my “new” product (playbar).used nearly 10 hours and nothing is happening with the update.i have resat the product every time, restarted the router and nothing helps. PLEASE HELP 

I have 2 feature requests: allow Sonos Amp (Moderator note: corrected from Sonos Sub) to connect to wireless front speakers. Not all setups can use a soundbar (eg TV over fireplace) allow hdmi remote to control volume of grouped Sonos speakers based on community feedback and web discussion, these features would be useful to many thanks.

Hican anyone advise. I have a second holiday home. My main address has Sonos products and my App is set up with those products. I have just purchased a Sonos Era 1 to use in a second address (holiday home)can I set that up on the same  account or do I need 2 separate accounts ?

trying to connect a nas drive to my sonos system but keep getting an “access denied” message when I input the path, user and pass.

After changing my router my sonos system has never worked properly, the app constantly says ‘no products found’ I have rebooted everything and even created another sonos account but the app when first opened still says ‘no products found. If this continues I’ll be listing the system on ebay and buying another brand as this is poor from sonos,

When both Me and my Wife starts a song on Spotify via the sonos app, from our iPhones, the song wil start to Play from the sonos unit for 10 second or so, and then it stops. Follower by an error message saying «we could not Play <name of the song>, the connection to Spotify was lost». This started for a couple of weeks ago, we have not encountered exacly this problem before, been using Spotify via sonos for more than 10 years. Spotify works fine from just the phone, in the Car via Bluetooth or Dock conectoon, or via Denon Heos, All other services with sonos also works just fine. There is only a problem with Spotify with sonos. im thinking may be some settings have changed?any one have any sugestions? thanks on advance!😉Christian

I was about to buy my first SONOS speaker(s) and just came across the comments about the latest App and the issues with it. Of course , now I’m struggling. Should I wait or buy something else. How bad would it be for a first time SONOS user? Is it more a problem for a longtime SONOS customer that lost some features / functions he or she used to have? Thank you. 

Hi, I have had Sonos for about 5-6 years and I have never had more than 6 months where it have been operating without problems. After I updated to the Sonos2 app in seemed to be good. I think it was the only 6 months streak I have had where it actually worked properly.I have: Playbar 2x Sonos One Sonos MoveI have learned to live with the app only finding one or two of the speakers every time or that I have to ask my wife to put on some music because “I can’t connect to Sonos now”. This is not 1-2 times per week. This is everyday. Always.But now it’s gotten so bad that I can’t connect to any speaker anymore. Me or my wife. My wife has completely given up on the whole system and just plays from her computer or from the TV.I have done everything 50 times. I follow the instructions and i sends me in loops.I have reset all the products to fabric settings, deleted the app, rebooted the phone, reins

I have ceiling speakers powered by an Amp and am looking to add a sub to bring some more bass to my set up.  can I add the sub wirelessly and sync with the ceiling speakers. Ceiling speakers are used for music only so no concern about sync with the TV. Is this possible? Thanks

I am trying to add LivePhish to my mobile app so that I can play it on my Sonos One. When I try to add the LivePhish app, I am having issues with connecting LivePhish. I can click on the button that “I have an account.” The next page requires me to use a code to authorize my account. It asks that I verify that the “user code matches the code on the decive.” Nothing can appear on my sonos, so I cant verify the device. Anyone have any suggestions on what I’m missing? I looked around to see if anyone had requested this, but I couldn't find it. Apologies if the request has already been done.  In the previous app it was possible to view the streaming format Flac, MP3,... It would be great to have this again (with bitrate indication if possible)

My cousin gave me an unopened Ikea Symfonisk which was bought around 2 years ago. I tried to add it into my app but it says that Symfonisk needs to be updated. So i started the updating around 10 days ago and the update circle is still not completed. Everytime i click on the circle, it says “it will only take several minutes”. Does anyone have similar situation and how could i speed up the update?  Many thanks!

According to the Sonos ‘Support’ team, I am the only customer they have that has the following issue…Since the recent App update, I was unable to access Apple Music and had to ‘reauthorize’ this. Tried, failed, reported, advised, tried, failed etc. Uninstalled, reinstalled, repeat etcI was told that I could only access Apple Music if I had a paid monthly subscription, which would seem to me to be an illegal practice given I have a fully owned local library of 26,000 songs stored on Apple Music and indeed I can listen to that content on my Mac, iPhone, in my car etc.After testing that theory, it was indeed correct. Only by restarting a monthly subscription to Apple Music would it get past the Sonos gateway, which I don’t require as I subscribe to Spotify.On closer investigation, access to Apple Music through Sonos was then only limited to a minority of my library and playlists. Most tracks are ‘greyed out’ and can’t be accessed. Not just tracks I’d burned

Hi. Yesterday we had a terrible thunderstorm, and a lot of the technical equipment was destroid.  No light on sonos. Is it possible to repair, or do we have to buy new ones?Thnks in advance. Morten

Down again you idiots my whole system is off line .. what I am now trying to rebuild from scratch.. this I BS !!! Stop breaking your software!! 

I plan to mount my new Arc above a gas fire place without a mantle. Does anyone have experience with this? I realize that the mantle would help disipate heat. What is the distance reccomended between the Arc and the top of the fireplace?
