Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have a playbar mounted below my tv and one play 5 in an outside area. I also had a sub gen 1 connected with the playbar, the sub was damaged and has been removed from my setup. I purchased a new sub gen 3 and it has been registered but will not connect with my playbar.Looking for tips that will help.Thanks 

I have arc sub and 2 era 300. Are well put in the room ? Maybe era 300 too kutch hight? I use for games and Dolby Atmos film and music. Better to use era 100 as surround and use era 300 in another room? And do you suggest to put a second subwoofer?  Thanks in advance ..any suggestion is appreciated 

How can i reset my system if i dont have access to my account because i’m trying to add a new speaker but i cant because i dont have access to the first account

I’m using a Play:5 (Gen 2) + three Play:1 small speakers in our cafe.Our Wifi system was updated to a DreamCatcher and now Sonos speakers won’t connect. I’ve been told Factory Reset. Is this the correct option?

I want to set an alarm that plays my wife’s playlists.When I don’t log into my Sonos account, I can play my wife’s Amazon Prime Music playlists because the speakers remember what the playlists are. But I can’t set alarms when I am not logged in.When I log in to set an alarm, I can no longer see my wife’s playlists and I can’t set them in the alarm. The only way I can think of accomplishing this is to log in to her Sonos account and then set the alarm. But I don’t want to keep track of all my wife’s log in credentials. Alternatively, I could recreate her playlists in my account, but this will be a huge pain.Is there a way to set the alarm using my Sonos login and her Amazon playlists?

I purchased a Sonos Arc sub and 2x sonos one rear speakers.   Almost nothing works in China so its completely false advertised.  No tidal support and voice doesnt work and of course anything the is realted to google servers.  Recently I moved to Thailand and packed all of it over here hoping to finally use my product as advertised but it seems the hardware is locked.  I cannot add Tidal and still nothing work for voice operation.  Seems this is come kind of chinese version that works on nothing but lousy chinese streaming services.  What really upsets me is right on taobao it advertises that you can use it with Tidal and voice operation and thats clearly not the case.  Is there any way I can update this system to work outside of China as advertised??

Getting a new error today, when in the web app and I click on the song name in the lower left corner (not on the Room side-bar) the Internal Server Error screen pops up.I had no reason to click there, originally bumped my trackball and was surprised by the error screen. Took a bit to track down exactly what I’d done to get it.So new bug, known bug, doesn’t matter?   

Hi All,I have linked my YTM account to Sonos, however, even though the Sonos app shows all my YTM content, whenever I try to play anything, it seems to load (play button briefly tuns into a circle) than stops and nothing plays, no errormessages.Same happens with a playlist, it skips through a nr of songs, showing covert art, playbutton briefly turns into a cricle, than it skips to the next songs, does this to 5 or 6 tracks than stops again.Iǘe removed and re-added the YTM account several times now, removed and reinstalled ther app, cleared cache and app data etc. To no avail.I've seen a plethora of issues with YTM/Sonos here, but none seem to be the same as my problem, so if anyone can lend a hand, that would be greatly appreciated.Best regards,Erik

We have 3 play ones and roam. One keeps cutting out. And one that is in the kitchen will not connect 

Hi everyone,I’m using two Sonos Era 100 speakers connected to my Pioneer Opus Quad mixer via a USB-C to jack cable. Unfortunately, I’m experiencing an audio delay of around 75 milliseconds when compared to the sound in my headphones, which I use for pre-cueing.This latency is affecting my ability to mix tracks in real-time, as the speakers’ output is delayed compared to what I hear through the headphones. Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Is there any way to adjust the delay in the Sonos system, or should I consider using external devices to synchronize the audio?Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance!

I went camping and used my move for it’s awesome portability and bluetooth ability.  Upon return, not only could i not reconnect it to my home network, i’ve had to delete accounts, hard reset my move and ray, and i’m not only unable to get them to work-- but i have zero bluetooth capability on my move.  I don’t know if i pushed a secret sequence of buttons on the back, but it’s kaput. I can’t get my network back and can’t even use bluetooth.  help, please.

Hi Sonos community,I'm a big fan of the Sonos Ace headphones, and I use them almost every day. However I was frustrated to discover that they aren't compatible with the "Find My Device" feature on Android.I think it would be a fantastic addition to the Sonos Ace headphones if they could be integrated with the "Find My Device" network. This would make it much easier to locate them if they are ever misplaced or stolen.I know that some other headphone brands, like Sony and JBL, are already planning to make their headphones compatible with this feature, and I hope that Sonos will consider doing the same for the Ace.I believe this would be a valuable feature for many Sonos Ace users and would further enhance the overall user experience.Thanks for considering my request!

The new updates are horrible, and I hate sonos for what they have done to the sound systems I’ve spent thousands of dollars on. I hate the ads built into the controller software. I hate how GPS needs to be turned on to use the controller. I hate how bloated the controller software is. I hate the new terms of service (and privacy statement) where sonos will sell my data. I’ve tried plexamp, but it doesn’t handle grouping, queuing, well.  I just want something simple where i can build and queue playlists from my local NAS.

S2 keeps on asking me to sign in as owner.I have not changed anything except for moving to iOS 18. I am able to connect on web, I am able to connect on MAC app, using the same credentials however does not allow me to sign in on iOS app.

Anyone else experiencing problems with settings adjustment on Era 300?More specifically, eq settings / volume limit / amazon alexa voice settings (wake word chime) / & bluetooth idle auto-disconnect.I try to make these adjustments and they do nothing as far as eq settings go and amazon alexa settings don’t stick either. I have already tried a network reset, Era 300 factory reset, and tried all 3 SonosNet channels with no luck. I would have also tried hardwiring the network connection but unfortunately the Era 300 does not have an ethernet connection.  i already submitted a system diagnostic ahead of time so I can try and contact tech support when they are available. 

Just thought I’d chime in and say that the solution explained in [1] did not work for me.What worked on a 2024 LG75QNED826RE (with an RF LG Magic Remote) was unplugging the Sonos Beam HDMI cable from the TV, and plugging it in again, and making sure the TV output was set to HDMI ARC.It seems the LG TV gets confused if I plugged something else in after the Beam, like e.g. a Chrome Cast, even if it was not inserted into the TV’s HDMI ARC slot (the Beam was already plugged here). This made the TV switch to TV  sound again.Unplugging and plugging the Sonos Beam Gen 2 and again setting the TV to HDMI ARC sound output again worked. Pairing the remote to the Sonos Beam Gen 2 is not nescessary using this setup (e.g. like you’d need to do with the Sonos Playbar).[1]:Edit: If an admin sees this, you can mark this as a resolved question.

May I connect my Sonos One and/or  Playbar to a Samsung Freestyle projector via bluetooth?

For whatever reason, when playing Cowboy Carter by Beyoncé as an album via Spotify, the song Jolene ALWAYS gets skipped. Going back and selecting the song manually plays just fine, but when playing the album from the beginning, this track is always skipped. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Hello. I just recently moved from my old home to a new one in a different country. I took my AppleTV 4k 2nd gen, Sonos Arc, mini sub and Era 100s with me but sold my old Samsung TV with the one connect box.Here i bought a new TV (LG) that has eArc aswell but for some reason when using the AppleTV, the sound does not work in some apps and those app only send sound through the TV speakers.All apps worked in my “old” setup but the only thing that has changed in the setup is the TV. Has anyone had this proplem  

My music library has disappeared since i updated the app. I have sharing set correctly and am connected to the same network but noi dice. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The system always says there was a problem with reinitialising Trueplay and asks me to do it again…which I did several times …I restarted my phone (IPhone 13, iOS 17.6.1), but nothing changed.What can I do?  Reinstall the app?

I purchased a new Roam 2 last week; connected it at home and it worked fine.  Brought it with me to Berlin, connected it in my hotel and worked fine for several hours.  Returned later in the evening and now there is a steady orange blinking light.  The Roam 2 is not on the system I set up and can’t be located.  I have tried to do a factory reset, but it will not turn off.  I've held the power on/off button for 5, 7, 30 and more than 60 seconds.  It still blinks orange.  It’s disconnected from any power.  Still blinks orange.  Cannot fathom how to turn iii off,  it doesn’t play, responds to no other attempt with any buttons.  It just blinks.  Slowly mocking me.  Using Sonos branded charger/usb connector.  What gives?  Very disappointing as looks like no music for rest of this 3 week trip.  ANY IDEAS????

WHY…...why do I keep losing certain products on my system???? This is really getting on my nerves ,I have neither the time or the tech knowledge to keep messing about like this. Just want to play my music on the speakers I have paid a lot of money on without all this messing. 

I  am the proud and until fairly recent happy owner of several Sonos products, of which one is the Playbar. For some (unclear reason) it disconnected with my home network (I did not change it). All other Sonos items still work as they should. The app says that the playbar is not registered, but when I am following the steps to solve the problem it ends with a notification that “an error has occurred” and that I have to try it again later (which I did, for multiple times now). Still it end with he same result. I have tried resetting the Playbar as well. But still the same result).What can I do?
