Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

HelloI’ve just unpacked a new era 300 and want to hook a CD player up to it but having some issues. Currently the 300 is on the network ok and is working via the Sonos app, when I attach a 3rd party usb-c to audio connector and hook that up to my cd player (via headphone out port, no other output port available) I don’t get any output at all, the line out settings in the Sonos app are also unavailable.What could be going wrong? Is it that I’m using a 3rd party adapter and only the official Sonos one will work? Or something else? Thanks.

The Sonos technical service in Spain is out of service. I moved home and now have a new wifi network. Have tried to set up 2 x Play 1’s on the network but nothing happens. Even when Play 1 is connected via ethernet it is still undiscoverable during the set up new network process.Factory reset process also just ends in a solid orange light. Can not get to green light at all, again ethernet cable plugged in.

I’ve got my surround system set up as described.What I’ve done so far is to use the settings to adjust the distance of the Threes in the app. There is no perceivable difference in sound balance when I do.I have two surround choices: - Beam plus 2Ones - Beam plus 2Threes (current)The Threes are louder than the Beam and I can’t hear the Beam very well. I know the sound is somewhat balanced but it’s hard to tell.I don’t want to set up the Ones, just because, then all three components have mics. I can then separate the Ones in to two further groups.How do I balance the Beam with the Threes.

Can’t get Sonos Move to connect. Just blinking orange and white. Won’t go to green. 

Probably this is now old news but Sonos please fix bug issues once and for all. I have 17 speakers connected and when it’s not one thing is the other.  App is completely unreliable with volume sometimes not responding, speakers disconnecting, rooms disappearing and speakers even made a loud sound. I have no issues with internet connecting both wired or wifi. The app seems at times it has a mind of its own. I’ve spend thousands on your excellent hardware only to be let down by the driver.

Hello. The 3.5” driver foam on a Play:1 speaker has cracked. I believe this was a common problem. I want to replace the entire driver. Does anyone know of a direct replacement? NB that the (4) hole pattern of the driver’s frame is (oddly) 72 x 77mm. Codes I have found on this driver are: (front, in the rubber surround) SONOS 405-00314 REV A CAV 31; (rear, on a small white sticker) 180-00057 PHWP17102602185 

Hi, I’m facing an issue when moving a speaker to another room: this speaker is not visible in the new app (version: 80.09.04), but only I can see an error message: X room is not connected (X is the original room).I did the factory reset several times on this speaker, I deleted the old Sonos network created a new one, and rebooted the router many times without any success. The app cannot connect the speaker: it's always been lost in the adding to the wifi network stage.I have an Asus mesh wifi with a main and an AP router: the old room is served by the AP router the new room is for the main router. The speaker is working well when is in the old room. According to the router’s status information: if the speaker is connected to the AP router everything is fine, if the speaker is connected to the main router with the same IP address (only 1 DHCP server is available at home), the speaker cannot be visible in the new app.How can I change the speaker's AP router assignment in the new app? Or

Why do I keep getting “Unable to load content.” 

Dear all,my Sonos speakers (Sonos Play:5 Gen 1, several Sonos Play:1, Sonon One, Sub, Roam) forget their queue content after power outage. I guess this is currently by design and I have to admit that doesn’t happen often but I have connected my speakers to my home automation (swtch light on > start playing / switch off > pause) and every time when my speakers get disconnected from power (e.g. due to power outage) and restoring power, they boot up with an empty queue and I have to add a radio station again manually to all speakers. It would be nice, if the speakers could keep the last played play list with track and position, radio station or whatelse. I’m not a programmer, but speaker settings also remain after power outage, so in general it should be possible to keep some information beyond power outage. Maybe this should just be considered as feature request.PS: I thought about a workaround via my home automation but it’s difficult for to keep track of the queue information an

I can't  reset my Sonos One 

Airplay on my Apple 15 will play for one song then cut out. I uncheck the speaker and recheck it and it will go for another song than cut out again.The odd part is that when you look at it in airplay it looks like its playing (eq bars going up and down)I’m only running one speaker but this happens though Apple Music, Sirius, and especially my music library.  

Randomly, but more often than not, my Beam is muted when I turn on my new TCL TV. The only way to unmute it is through the Sonos app. I am connected via eARC. Once unmuted all is well.

My Roam died and was replaced by a Roam 2. Thanks, Sonos!No problem setting up the Roam back in January 2023. However, I have yet to set up the replacement Roam 2 despite numerous attempts. Asks for my WiFi password then fails to connect. SSID and password are correct.Might be an issue with mDNS?What does the App and Roam 2 expect to be provided by the WiFi network?The App seems to be issuing: Standard query 0x0005 PTR _sonos._tcp.local, "QM" question but not receiving a reply …Note that I only have the single Roam 2 and an Android mobile to run the App. No access to Apple devices or wired Sonos devices.

Where is the button on the new SONOS App (as of May/2024) for Speech Enhancement while watching TV.   This button use to be on the EQ screen under Sound.   The same screen that allowed you to adjust Bass and Treble and “Loudness” and also has a Reset button, use to have a button for “Speech Enhancement” while watching TV.  BUT, that button is gone now in the App.   Hard to believe that SONOS would eliminate this option.   So where was it moved to?

I changed to the new App in my iPhone and since I have, it has become unusable. It is so unstable forever crashing, one minute OK then can’t connect to my music library saying something went wrong then the next try it does, or saying it can’t find my system or no products found and then randomly going back to the home page.I NEVER had an issue with the old app, it was stable solid worked every time. I have tried re-setting, I have deleted and re-loaded the app, I have also re-booted my router but nothing works. Even as I am typing this, the app on my phone keeps flicking in and out, one second connected, the next not with products not found.This has been an absolute disaster and when I try and go back to the S1 app it will not allow me to.What I cannot understand is that the app on my Windows 10 laptop works a treat, connects immediately to my system, and my library on my NAS and just works.Sonos were/are meant to be one of, if not the best in this game, but with this they have become

In Soundtrack Your Brand you can make a schedule with different playlists starts and stop at different time which is very smart in a large company. I have Sonos speakers installed in the ceiling and it look very nice.My question is can you play Soundtrack schedule in Sonos?If yes, pleas guide me :-) Looking forward to head from you.

I have a handful of older play3s and play1s that I wasn’t using, so I decided to give them to a friend. To get them ready, I tried to connect them to my system so I could update them, then factory reset them for my friend. Adding the speakers to my system was a nightmare. When the app told me to listen for chimes after connecting my phone to the speaker’s temp wifi, none of the speakers played the tones(are they too old to download the mp3?). I got around this by temporarily wiring in the speakers (though the app still failed to see them when prompted to press buttons on the speakers) when I removed the cable part-way through the setup, they finally added. I updated the speakers to my system and verified they worked by playing some music. Then I factory reset them and took them to my friend’s house. There I ran into the same issue with the speakers not playing chimes during setup of a new household. The problem was my friend’s router doesn’t have ethernet (most don’t these days). Is it

The light on my Bridge is flashing /blinking very fast at least 5 times per second no action on the buttons does anything !! Obviously not dead but cannot include in my setup!!!what can I do ?

I am happy to finally upgrade to an ARC soundbar and Era 300 side speakers.  I watch television/streaming services and listen to music.  Do the surround sound speakers work with television/streaming?  Not sure if I am not setting them up correctly, that my tv doesn’t offer it, or that surround ever works with tv/streaming.

There are several posts on here about exactly the same thing - all misteriously ticked as ‘answered’ by the admins, yet like the others who posted, I have tried absolutely every recommendation suggested and nothing works. The only sign of life is an orange light when plugged in to charge via USB-C. and yes, I have left it over an hour charging, and yes, with a 15w charger, and yes, i have pressed the power button for 5 seconds, 10 seconds, 30 seconds and yes, i have combined that with pressing the play/pause button. But like others, I still have a speaker that is only 2 years old which is now a defective brick. I bought the speaker directly from Sonos so I am not holding my hopes up at getting anything other than a 30% off voucher, which quite frankly doesn’t cut it for a problem that seems to be widespread. Suggestions welcome! 

I have tried removing YouTube music (premium) from my Sonos system and resetting the app, but this problem keeps happening. Specific songs just won’t play, and are skipped when in playlists.  For example, I cannot seem to play any songs by CHVRCHES or Years and Years. If I start artist radio, for CHVRCHES for example, it will play other artists such as Haim.  These artists play fine if I use AirPlay from the YouTube music app as a workaround, but I’d like to know if there is a fix for the Sonos app?
