Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I’ve currently got a beam bar and the cracking/popping is driving me nuts. It only happens on certain programs/apps.  When the surround speakers work they isn’t no cracking/popping but soon as it’s just the beam bar working on its own the crackling starts. It’s fine when steaming Spotify etc. any ideas how to stop it cracking? Current using a Panasonic TV. 

Hi all. I’ve recently purchased era 300s coming from Sonos ones used as rear speakers for ARC ultra. Yes they are great with Atmos content but I had much better sound coming from ones with other content, can there be option so we can use the 300s in different sound modes so a correct sound output, full sound coming out of all speakers (centre speaker) as well so it’s all up mixed. Just  think there should be more configurations for the era 300s. 

HII’m experiencing a new issue today, The Now Playing screen is taking a long time to show the song which is currently playing.  Instead, it is showing the previous song, with that song’s progress bar at 100%. Eventually (up to a minute later), it catches up with itself.This used to happen when the new app was released, but it settled down. Now it has returned.If it helps, I’m listening to the Flow function on Deezer.

I have 5 Connect Amps, all compatible with S2 app.  Unfortunately S2 app sucks, especially for My Music Library.  I would like to use the S1 app for My Music, and the S2 for streaming over the same 5 amps.  Is this possible?

I’ve been talking to different customer service reps at Sonos for the last three hours to try to figure out two things: Why, after working fine in May and June, TV audio skips (like record scratches) when I group my Ray to my Roam SL and/or my Era 100; and why, when playing audio via Bluetooth through either the Era 100 or the Roam SL, the audio starts to skip once any other speaker (or both other speakers) are connected to it. I was told that using other speakers (not subs or surround speakers) to simply play TV audio in other rooms is “unsupported,” period (even though on this forum, there are multiple examples of people getting that to work within the last year!); and I was told that sharing Bluetooth audio in this way was also “unsupported,” but that this was one of the app update issues, and that it should be reinstated in the app soon (when? lol who knows). For the TV audio, delaying the audio by a lot cleared the problem up entirely, I have no idea why the rep didn’t just sugges

I am unable to Connect again to Sonos App. Yet again this premium system has failed. We have 3 Play1 and a Beam but myself and my wife cannot control any device from our IPhones.For all the updates, this company still cannot provide a reliable app. I also have an Echo which never fails.

I have a Sonos Arc in Black. I plan to get the Sonos Arc Ultra in White…but I’m wondering if I can use the black power cable I got with the Arc?I notice on the website it shows this power cable is compatible with the Arc, but doesn’t show Arc Ultra.Can anyone from Sonos look into this and confirm if the Arc power cable in black is compatible with the Arc Ultra in white?Thanks!

Recently I've found that certain albums are available through the YouTube music app, but all songs in the album are “greyed out” if you search the album through Sonos. How can I balance the sound better, when I watch a movie most of the time in an action scene I have to turn down the sound and then I don't hear the dialogues loud enough and vice versa, if I turn up the volume to hear the dialogues then as soon as there is an action scene I have to turn down the sound

I see the question posted previously but the discussion is closed and there is no fix!is the button going to be added as it used to be?  I have way too much music to add it all to a que. I get an error saying there isn’t enough room in the app. I have plenty of hard drive space. 

Does Trueplay™ still work with Beam (Gen 2) with the latest iOS and S2 software? I can no longer find the menu item in the app?

What is the easiest way to identify if a sonos Beam is Gen 1 or Gen 2?

Hello Complete novice here! We have just moved into a new home with Sonos speakers in many rooms. There is an AudioVisual cabinet with a patch plug and a lot of ethernet cables. The router is in a different room and cannot be installed in said cabinet, so I am having the router somehow connected to AV cabinet.  Once the cabinet is “live”, then I need to buy a network switch and Sonos Amps, install them and get it all connected.  The question is - is this switch sufficient to run the Sonos system? I may consider Wireless Access Points in the future (though that seems excessive).  TIA!Confused!

Hi all,Appreciate that this is a topic that is done to death. As an android user it is frustrating that you cannot perform Trueplay tuning but I do understand the complications surrounding the various mics. A number of solutions have been put forward, external mics being one of them which got me thinking that most Sonos speakers already have a microphone fitted.This got me thinking if it could be possible to use something like a Sonos Roam, which would have a known microphone fitted, to perform the truplay tuning? I guess the complicated part would be how does that feedback to the app but there must already be communction between the app and the hardware. Maybe a solution? 

Can there be a third option for loudness (specifically base) other than just toggling night mode on and off? I have the beam with surround (sonos One’s) and the sub. I love the loudness and extra bass when night mode is off but my wife not so much. I feel like there should be an inbetween mode. 

For a more immense experience, I would like to add two Era 100 on the side, combined with my system made with Arc ultra and the two Era 300. This will make the listening experience even deeper. I specify that I am not interested in high volume, but in the intensity that can be received by adding two speakers l to the side of the system. Has anyone done it or can give an opinion?

have seven speakers on my sonos system. Two of the speakers show the network extension address in the app and the other five connect via the main modem versus the network extension devices.  The two on the extension devices wont respond to the app controls. They and allow adjustments but wont play.any suggestions?

 Before I audition Ace, how do I listen to Atmos or lossless with my iPhone?  Sorry, it’s not clear to me from the promo lit. Thanks,Tom

Hi  I am trying to figure out a way to use my existing set up to project movies in my backyard using a projector  I have 3 Sonos amps — 1 amp is for 6 speakers and a sub for the left part of the yard — 2nd amp is for additional 6 speakers and a second sub for the right side of the yard — 3rd amp if for the family room inside the houseand I have some complementary Sonos moves and Sonos 1 around the house  I investigated the proper setup with bets buy geek squad in 2022 and the final outcome was to get the Sonos bridge and connect everything wirelessly, however I never pulled the trigger and it appears that not the bridge/port and other options are no longer available.  what are my options here ? Wireless? Wired ? Can I connect 2HDMI (amp 1&2) to the projector outside ? It’s a long way for an HDMI cable. Just saying.    

I have a Play:3. Can It hook it to my computer through ethernet? I’ve got a bridge, but it isn’t recognized by my Mac system, so I thought I might take the Bridge out the the pass from computer to speaker.

I currently have a Play 3 in my family room with a Gen 3 Sub. Thinking of replacing/upgrading to two Era 100’s with the sub. Other than the better separation with the two Era 100’s in stereo will this be an upgrade ?

How can I determine the generation of my One SL speakers?
