trying to add my local library, stuck on username and password to network drive

ive followed the instructions to the T

they were very intricate until it gets to the network credentials, i dont remember setting them up and ive tried my username and password (login) that doesnt work, and your instructions doent say anywhere how to find this

No matter what you are going to need the username and password for your NAS before you can use it.

Using Mac 

as I understand it and have been told and as far as I can see when setting up the NAS 

It’s identical to my login in credentials 

and it does not work as I stated in previous note.

When setting up shared folder In the directions on Sonos app.

i select myself (the admin name) as read and right) 

after finishing these steps it asks for a PW 

it had my user name entered for username 

and I entered my login PW. That completes the setup of the shared folder

 

setting up the shared folder in Sonos fails when asking for credentials when these credentials are entered.
