Will the music library I created by uploading CDs for the S1 system work in the S2 system? Will the Sonos Playlists still work?

 Why does the queue not follow the progress of the music?  When I’m playing track 137 that’s where I should be when I open the queue.  Instead I’m on page one.  When will this be fixed?

I have een old tv without bluetooth is it possible to buy some kind of device . So i can use my sonos ace wireless . I have a cheap bluetooth transmitter but won't work.  So if it is possible i don't want to spend a lot of money.

Regarding compilation CD’s they look like individual CD’s for each track in the app. they used to look ok before, is the s release issue??Best regards  

Hi!I owned a Arc + 2xEra 300 + Sub gen 3 setup and it was overwhelming on cinematic performance and average on music - I was missing the middle lows in music performance (which are very present on the demo sounds of sonos, so it's likely a DSP thing not hardware).As Arc Ultra promised better bass due to the new sound force technology, I made the upgrade and... well... I am not satisfied at all. Everything sounds the exact same as before. I did trueplay tuning (tried all three variants), EQ setup etc etc.I get even a little better performance turning the sub off in the mid los but then the deep subs are missing of course.I don't get why my SONOS system is performing so bad on mid-lows but only on music... All is perfect on movies... If sonos would only give us more control over music EQ :( That being said, I was asked by ​@Corry P to create a diagnostic. I created even three and made some trouble

I have a Sonos Arc Ultra connected via the HDMI Earc cable to a 2021 Sony XR-65A80J tv.  I’m using the Sony remote that comes with the TV.  When adjusting the volume there is 1) a delay in the volume response at the TV and soundbar, and 2) when adjusting the volume by multiple steps, it misses the input unless you press the button, wait, then press the button again.Can this be corrected with the tv settings? Or is this a common problem across Sonos soundbars and Sony TVs that is still unresolved? 

Just got an Arc Ultra and have it with a TCL R646. I can't get Dolby Atmos to work (the tv does support it). I've tried all the settings on the tv but the best I can get is Dolby Digital Plus 5.1. I've tried Netflix, Disney, Prime and Paramount+. Any ideas?

I have a system with  Arc Ultra 300 era surround Sub gen 3sub gen 4 When i run the trueplay on the Ultra with my Android it finishes without a problem, but it doesnt seen to activate. There is no trueplay toggle button appearing and i can still change distances of surround. (All eq settings reset though) I tried with 2 different Android units and get the same result. When i Ran the normal trueplay on my girlfriends iPhone it saved. But I want to use Android trueplay because of the bass issue with subs in Ultra and trueplay

Hi, I have Sonos beam gen 2 connected to my sony X80J. Audio volume is good for youtube, TV feedback sound, etc. However, whenever I play a video from streaming services or USB, volume is very low.So everytime I am trying to watch something from streaming services or off my USB, I will need to boost sound to 40-50. Youtube or TV feedback sound is already loud enough when it is 10-15.I tried to troubleshoot following the instructions found on this community but none of them solved the issue.

I had one Ray and one era 100.  When I play TV or movies I can hear the sound go in and out of the era 100.   But when playing pandora or Sonos music it plays fine. So I went out and got another era 100 and put it all on one system.  Now when I play like tv,  music videos or youtube tv, I can hear parts of what I am watching get louder on the eras 100’s speakers for a few sec then back to norm.How can I fix this.  This is in a 500sf office and everything has direct line of sight and less then 15ft away from the TV.   Again, pandora or Sonos radio has no issues.If I bluetooth from my cell to the Era 100 directly no issues in playing videos.WIFI is 200mb and just my laptop and tv use it.I just want stereo sound not surround sound as I use it for watching youtube videos.Thank you! 

It seems my Sonos Ace are lacking the ‘welcoming’ and ‘farewell’ sound when turned on and off or working, well, on and of, at least experienced not indicating this on a regular basis. It’s quite annoying not really knowing if the agre turned on or off. They have been update 1-2 times since i bought them in advance as pre-order at www.sonos.com when launced, recently updated to latest 3.1.4.e16.1c539 version late 2024.

Hello fellow Sonos friends:Does the original Sonos Arc work well as a room speaker? I’m thinking about a new TV setup (probably with either a new Sonos Arc Ultra, or a Sony Bravia Theater Quad) and thinking about potential other uses for my original Sonos Arc.I have an Ikea Kallax shelf in a different room, and 20” of clearance from the top of the shelf to a ceiling overhang. Would the Arc work well in this position? I’d be using it just for music.Do I understand correctly that the upfiring speakers are not active with music playback? Or is this enabled/disabled via Spatial Music setting in the Sonos app?

Where is the best place to install beam? On wall with Tv or on a Tv stand unit?thanks

I cannot scroll down beyond a certain point when I want to choose an artist to listen to in the Amazon Music app within the Sonos app. It doesn't happen when I use the Amazon Music app alone. How can I fix this problem.

Want to remove 2 era 100 that I thought I could use as front surrounds with my Arc.  I want to give them as a gift and I can’t if they are registered to me. 

I’m experiencing an issue with the Sonos Ace where there is an audio delay when watching live streams or playing games when connected via Bluetooth. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Will there be a firmware update in the future?

I have an Arc, 2 Play 1’s and a Sub Gen 2.  I am upgrading to Arc Ultra and Era 300’s and keeping the Sub.  I have the Era 300’s now but I’m waiting on the Arc Ultra.  What is the procedure to replace the old components?  Thanks.

Disappointment doesn’t even begin to explain how I feel right now. After a significant investment in SONOS products (which we LOVE), after surviving SONOS-GATE with the S1/S2 app debacle (we were very thankful to keep our fully functioning, amazing sounding original speakers), now my app cannot connect to my network at all. I spent an hour without figuring it out before finding this community, which I am thankful for.SONOS…. I beg you, please fix this app or revert back to the old one. I start hosting for the holidays in 6 days and this is seriously stressing me out.

Does the Sonos sub 4 have the same power cable as the Sonos gen 3 ?

My system is so old that it was created in the time where it wasn’t mandatory to create a system owner “admin”. When I try to update, the system ask for verification from the system owner.  I can’t create a new user because the username is already in the system. The speakers is attached to the system… so I’m kind of stuck.  It is old speakers so I use the S1 app. I would like to reset it all to fabric settings  Is there any solution I can try in order to get the system to play again? best regards Torben

Sonos said they finished repairing the problems caused in the spring app update. If so, why are the speakers at my house continue to experience the same problems of unable to connect as it has been for months now. I've updated, Sonos has updated. Nothing here has changed.  Why?

Hi, thinking of upgrading from SL one to era 300. Considering buying two Era 300 and doing stereo pair. Challenge is that I want to put them on the window sill, and the diameter there is about 5 inches, which work well for the SL one but may be too small for the Era 300. See pictures attached. Do you think I can still place the 300s there? Green circles are where I’d be locating the speakers (and where I currently have the Ones now). I don’t feel like putting them on stands as I don’t think the area would look good. Alternatively, considering the Five, which would fit well.Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks.

I cannot believe you guys removed the optical input on the Arc Ultra. I had a playbar (which function just dandy by the way) with optical input and bought your hype about how much better the arc Ultra is and I’d get a discount to upgrade. You neglected to mention that the optical input from my system would no longer function and I basically bricked my entire freaking system because I have a Samsung Frame that connects to its controller 25 ft away and brings in optical back to the speaker. You EVEN CHANGED THE FREAKING POWER PLUG and I had to tear my whole TV off the wall just to change out the damn power cord. WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING!?!?!? Guys I can’t begin to tell you how pissed I am right now. I’m going to have to call the sound people who set this up and pay HUNDREDS of dollars just to straighten this crap out. I swear I would love to get my hands on the genius who did this. Especially without putting it ANYWHERE to warn people.
