We lost power awhile ago and now our connect amp doesn’t work. We have reset it. The lights don’t light up on it. Think we need a new one?

Hi @MissyD

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear about this issue you are having with your Connect:Amp not turning on.

While I am unsure how you would go about resetting a device that shows no lights, if there are no lights showing as you apply power, it is likely entirely non-functional. I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team to find out what your replacement options are.

I hope this helps.

Hmmm…..If the lights don’t light up (which they should flash green) then it hasn’t been reset. Also try a different outlet.

Did you follow the steps in this link under “All Other Products” ?

We’ve tried that. Our Play:5 (Gen 1) lights are on. It’s the white connect box that doesn’t light up anymore.

Go to the room for the Connect:Amp in the Sonos app and look under “Hardware”. Make sure the Status Light is set to “On”.

Same exact thing happened to me. After a system wide update recommended by the app the Amp does not turn back on again. Have followed all the advice I can find on what to do and talked to Sonos support and their conclusion seems to be that the amp got fried in the update. But they’re not prepared to replace it. Very, very frustrating.
