I recently bought a Sonos Move (1) on sale and am very happy with it. I went to a Best Buy this week and they had a display of all the small Sonos things. Four or five of them. I listened to the same demo music on all of them and it seemed very clear at least in that setting that the Move 2 sounded the best. I just wanted to share that experience. Especially since it is a modest looking smallish mono-looking unit costing a rather hefty $450. So, the fact that it sounds so good is something you should be proud of and will probably be noticed. By the way, in marketing, providing sampling for prospective costumers is a vitally important thing if in fact you are selling quality and not just selling image. So keep putting that stuff in stores on display guys.  $450, though! There must be a lot of fancy materials in there. It’s pretty heavy as you know.

Hello @wcbrekke, welcome to the Sonos Community!

My previous flatmate had a Sonos Move and we were both extremely satisfied by the performance. Although his music taste is quite different than mine, I must say! 😅

Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback, it is much appreciated!

And to continue, mono sound is much underrated and under appreciated. Usually the placement of people in a room makes stereo an unbalanced sound, such as dance clubs and supermarkets and dinner parties. Most stereo pop music is recorded with a series of mono mics so when collapsed into mono it sounds tight. There ought to be a mono button on amplifiers. Having two very close together stereo tweeters as in the Move 2  is a nice solution, too.
