Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

My LG  2024 Tv and Sonos Beam two sl1 and mini sub have worked perfectly until today. the sound settings on The TV have completely changed to a long bar for adjustment, also The speakers lack surround sound,the only thing difference is we watched football on the red button setting, could that have caused a complete  change ? Completely baffled!

Hi there,I recently replaced my old play 5s with newer speakers that I added to the new Sonos app. I still have two speakers (play 3 and play 1) and a boost in the S1 app. I wanted to transfer them but somehow I cannot get it to work. S1 asks me to update and when I do that it opens the new Sonos app. But when I then update there it says the system is up to date and the three devices do not show in the new app. Not sure what to do? Has anyone had this problem and could fix it? Would be grateful for any advice or help. Let me know if further info is required.Thanks so much in advance.All the best, Tim

Now that legacy TuneIn is gone from the new (buggy) iOS controller and all my custom radio stations (in my case from Digitally Imported di.fm)  were gone and there is no information on the Sonos site I luckily found a way to get them back. However it involves recreating them which can be labour intensive depending on how many you have. You will also need the IOS version of TuneIn for this to work. In het verleden kon je Sonos bedienen met de volume knoppen van een iPhone. Dat is ergens in een update verloren gegaan. Ook is de volume regeling in de Sonos app totaal oncontroleerbaar geworden en ik heb niet eens zulke dikke vingers. Android Sonos App (latest version, 80.14.06) startup time is very long on my phone (xPeria J9210, Android 11), even after I wipe out all cache/data, reinstall the app, and start it with phone IN FLIGHT MODE, i.e. no WIFI, no access whatsoever to my players.It takes about 2 minutes for the app to finally tell me that I need to enable the Wifi to find my system.And after enabling Wifi, it takes only a few seconds for the app to really find my system and be ready to roll. Dear all,my Sonos configuration consists ofSonos Arc Ultra Sonos Sub 3rdIt performed the latest update on 2025-01-12 and Bluetooth playback stopped working. It does not play any sound from Windows ThinkPad laptop neither from Android smartphone. The device seems to be connected properly, even volume indicator indicates sound is playing. However there is not any sound at all.Any suggestins or hints how to resolve it, please?

Once again my entire system is no longer available. I have an Arc, 2 Ports 4 Sonos One Gen 2s and 2 Sonos 1 Gen 1s. Nothing is available and my Sonos network has disappeared AGAIN.Currently performing a factory reset on everything and will then have to re-tune them for the rooms.This is the 8th time I have had to do this since last spring when the ‘update’ started wiping everything out.WHY WHY WHY can’t your engineers figure out how to push updates that don’t break everything?Before you start saying “Check your WiFi settings” I have done that, and my WiFi is operating perfectly.I have a significant investment in this system and am Extremely Unhappy with the quality of the Sonos software. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!

My sonos move 2 will not connect to my apartment building wifi, and when i try to connect it via bluetooth by pressing the bluetooth button on the back it wont go into pairing mode, i made sure everything was up to date and charged, i just purchased the speaker a few days ago and still havent been able to enjoy it, is there any fixes?

Hi - I know this has been asked and answered in many different ways and forums, I have tried many of those solutions but still have instances where speakers drop in/out. I have not been able to pinpoint any specific event that may drive this.My wifi is strong, I have a mesh network, a few of the speakers connect to the 5Hz but most to the 2.4Hz network. When things get really, really bad I unplug all speakers (16) and reboot my router and mesh, then plug them all back in. This seems to work with some lags.The issue has been persistent since the new app, I have changed my router (from stock xfinity to a Synology Mesh) and seen no difference. My Arc was hard wired, so SonosNet which I have since taken on wifi and away from SonosNet, there is some perceived stability after this (maybe?).I have been thinking of creating a separate Sonos only 2.4Hz network for all the speakers to test, does this make sense? I have Sonos speakers in 3 rooms. I want to use Sonos speakers as a single, unified system. That means always playing the same music across rooms at the same volume.The experience for doing is is cumbersome and often fails. Speakers become ungrouped, alarms can’t be set for groups, and you can’t “cheat” and add all speakers to a single room.This is a very poor user experience vs. what is advertised as “seamless”.

Hi,  I have a Sonos arc and am planning to get two era 100’s as surround. I understand  that the era 100’s do not have Dolby atmos however Will I still get Dolby atmos from the arc. Thanks

 Player 3 and bridge cant connect to Sonos App. It said that dont support or can not recevied more updates.That means i have to threw away my perfectly sounding speakers player 3 , and only use my Era 100?Anything that i can do to put it back on use?

I have two setups of sonos products. I have them for about ten years. One time I upgraded both sets to s2. Since then super slow, so yesterday I decided to downgrade to s1 again. Better response times since then and everything works but… I am unable to perform a trueplay tuning through my phone or any phone running iOS 18. it immediately throws a network error. I tried to find out what is was but to no avail. I could do a tuning by using a older iPad running iOS 16 without any problems. My guess is that the problem is not in the Sonos network or WiFi network but in the iPhones and maybe a security setting that prevents trueplay tuning?Can someone help me with this?

Hi I own Bean 2 sub mini and 2 era 100s configured as surround. I received 2 era 300s that I would like to configure as surround and put the 2 era 100s in stereo. Can I use the Sub mini with the 2 era 100s or does it only work with the beam 2 and the 2 Era 300s. That is, can I use the sub mini with the era 100s and with the soundbar and the 300s? Thanks. Hello,This was raised several month ago with no answer ():Our Sonos One SL now shows up in the system when wired to the eero router, but disappears when ethernet is unplugged. When visible, the speaker shows wifi activated (in the app).Are there steps to take before unplugging the speaker, to make sure it will still work over wifi?FWIW it used to work (with usual Sonos hickups) for years over wifi, then stopped.

I purchaced an ARC Ultra and 2 x ERA 300’s on Boxing day, set up was easy all worked great until the Sonos App needed to update. Since doing this it seems I’ve lost the volume slider on one out of the three each time I open it.I’ve also lost functionality through the app, where more often than not I have go to the speaker to turn on , off or control volume.Seems as though the app is relatively useless now, because these are all the functions I want to remotely control.Reading through the community comments this seems to have been going on for over 7 months with SONOS help saying they will release bug fixes shortly.When is shortly please ?Anyone resolved this issue ? I have tried all the suggestions, resets, reboot, uninstalls etc

Hey guys.Today my Sonos Port underwent an update. And after that it didn't connect anymore, even my account seems to have disappeared.I've tried every possibility listed in the Sonos help file and nothing works.Any other suggestions? 

After searching threads on this site, I am STILL unable to successfully play radio output from my Yamaha receiver, (RX-V373) via a Sonos Connect (S15, Gen 2 mfg 05/2019), to play through my Play:1 and/or Roam SL speakers.Once I get this working, I’ll hook up my turntable (unamplified) and CD player to it.Here’s a photo of the back of my receiver. Other threads are locked… Firmware update today, removed and added library and my compilations are now correct. I would celebrate but it’s nothing to be proud or happy about after all this time
