Turntable Lined in to Era 100 not automatically playing with surround system even set as grouped after using tv

Hi guys I have the Beam Gen 2, Sub Mini and 2 Sonos Era 300 as my surround system. I added a turntable lined to Era 100.

Tv autoplay is set up as Ungroup on Autoplay so the Era 100 connected to the turntable will not be included when I use the tv.

Now i noticed that when I stopped using the tv and play the turntable with the Era 100 lined in, it doesn’t automatically connect again to that group (surround system+era100).

Any tips would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

There is no ‘auto group’ on playback, only an ‘ungroup on playback’. Your ‘surround system room’ will automatically disconnect when you receive a signal on the digital input, but the rooms won’t automatically group when you start playback on your turntable.

I guess ill just have to disable the ungroup on auto play and just lower the volume of may era 100 if I don’t want to check the groups again when switching from the tv to turntable. Thanks for the reply.

This means the include grouped rooms doesn’t automatically work. You will still have to check the boxes manually.
