Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

We were five days without power.i tried to turn it on yesterday. Both speaker power up but I had issues getting them to show up on app.one speaker Play1 is now showing consistently.but our main speaker Play 5 : 2nd generation comes and goes and now is not showing on app. But it is playing a radio station. So it is playing.i do not know what to do to get it to connect to the app. my frustrations are super high. Love the speaker, hating the system 

Products that are pure white or black do not give designers much to work with in most homes. Would like to see more attention paid to colorway aesthetics. A soundbar does not have to look so generic and unattractive. Perhaps a two-tone Arc Ultra in silver and gunmetal grey.

I’ve been using the same setup for over 7 years—Playbar, Sub, and Play:1s for surround sound—without any issues. Suddenly, I can no longer connect my Play:1s or Sub to the Playbar for surround sound. Even when they briefly show as connected, they disconnect within a few minutes, and I’m forced to reset them. Oddly, each speaker works fine on its own, just not as part of the surround setup.Not sure what is going on   Any help would be appreciated

Messages from MacOS App:searching fir your sonos system…...we need to get Sonos updated and then no updates needed, cant connect to controller.I have followed all of the support advice i.e. Sonos OS, checked / set firewall and privacy and security settings, restarted etc.Im running S2 16.5 on MacOS Sequoia 15.2 

I currently pay for Apple Music. In the middle of the album today I heard an announcer tell me what song I was listing to and it was from Apple Music.  I run the Sonos app on my phone then search up the album on Sonos using Apple Music service that is linked.  Why would Sonos ruin the experience with an ad? Who is that ad for?   Apple clearly didn’t do it because I’m paying for it already. Has this happened to anyone else?  If Sonos did it. Stop?

I have a CD player connected via Line in to a brand new era 100. I have several speakers around the house and when I play the CDs Sonos keeps removing speakers from the group and only playing from where the line in is connected. Is this a known thing?

Hi,I have 2 Amp's tot support my surround setup. Once the Amp that is connected to the rear speakers is set to act as the surround set I'm not able to use them as a separate room, both Amp's are assigned tot the same room, playing the same music…Can I keep the rear and front Amp separated? So they can play independent from each other while not using them in the surround TV setup?ThanksGG 

Pretty often I have to unplug my Beam gen 2 and reboot it for voices to be normal.When I turn on my LG OLED, Apple TV and Beam the voices/sounds are pretty often more bass and deep (thus distorted and not the correct voices of actors etc). If I unplug everything it usually goes back to normal. The issue has becoming more and more frequent. Any ideas?

I have bought a faulty sonos roam in the hope of fixing it.It seems the nand chip has got a small burn mark on it.Not sure it could be replaced as I'm sure it would need to be programmed. What are the hope of me getting a replacement main board from anyone. TIAPaul

I have this device from CORSAHD: https://a.co/d/5o6AZirIt works great with my bedroom LG TV that does not have eArc and my Sonos Arc. It also has four HDMI In ports so you don’t need a separate splitter like you do with the Arcana. Lossless Dolby Atmos passes to the Arc just fine. The one issue I’m having is with any DTS-HD track. It converts every DTS-HD track to lossy DTS Surround. DTS-HD 2.0 becomes DTS Surround 2.0. DTS-HD 5.1 and 7.1 both become DTS Surround 5.1. When I tried changing my Blu-ray player from Auto to PCM, I just got stereo PCM for DTS-HD 5.1 and 7.1 tracks. I can’t find a way to get Multichannel PCM 7.1 like I can when using TV with eArc. I don’t think changing any settings on the TV should matter because I’m sending the audio directly to the Sonos Arc. The CORSAHD device should just be passing through audio, so I’m not sure why I would not get Multichannel P

Why is my android app Sonos app kept forgeting its system.

I have just updated my home network and introduced access points which gives me great wifi coverage and speeds. Can I put my Sonos devices on a dedicated vlan and remove my boost without causing issues. i.e. my mobile device will be on a different vlan will the app still work

I recently built a Sonos home theatre system, piece by piece, as I was able to afford each component. I started with the Arc ultra and added two Era 300s and a sub mini. This is all hooked up to my lg g4 77 in OLED.I have researched all over the Internet and am getting differing opinions. My question is straight forward: I am using the era 300s as rear speakers. What are the best configuration settings in the Sonos app for surround, height, arc ultra, etc? Do I increase the bass and treble on the Arc, or leave that alone and only up the bass on the sub mini? Should I set music to ambient or full? Please give me a complete list of optimal config settings and I will be very appreciative! Thank you in advance

I can set or change alarm settings. The save button changes when I press it, but nothing happens.

Hi Everyone, My surround sound system is not working when tv is first turned on. The work around is to unplug the TV after it has been turned and plug it back and only then the surround sound would work. I have changed HDMI  a couple time, problem persist. Also, I would ensure that the output is set correctly. The surround sound works fine with music from when using the Sonos app.  I have two Era 300, two subwoofers gen 4, and one arc ultra.  Thanks.  

Hi everyone,I recently moved into a new apartment that provides internet for each unit via AT&T Community WiFi. I have my own unique password to access the internet, but I’m running into issues setting up my Sonos system.I have a Sonos Arc and two Sonos One speakers, which I’m trying to use as surrounds. However, they won’t connect properly, and I suspect the issue is related to the internet setup. Here are some additional details:The apartment’s Ethernet ports do not work. I was told that when the building’s internet was set up, the wiring was not labeled, so it would be a long process to get them functional. I’ve tried setting up the speakers over WiFi, but they won’t connect as surrounds. I’m wondering if the issue is due to the shared network environment in the building.Has anyone dealt with a similar issue? Are there any workarounds I can try to get m

Can we have a S2 app complete rollback? At first, S2 was working for me just fine when the Upgrade happened, but then it was getting worst and worst everytime, now it works really bad, Music plays for 7 seconds or less and then skips the song and plays the 7 seconds or less and ends stopping at the third attempt… never had issues like this with the sonos apps, S1 works much better than S2, I have both, my S2 speakers are wired, so I don’t know what is going on… so, please!! Can we have the S2 complete Rollback???

Mein TV Gerät hat heute keinen Ton über die Sonos Beam, gestern ausgeschaltet-alles normal- nichts verstellt, aber ich bekomme keinen Ton  

I have a simple setup, 2 Sonos Ones as a stereo pair in my home office. I frequently have issues with the system not being found, or one speaker dropping out, meaning a frustrating time resetting, rebooting and trying to reconnect. Today, the app can’t find a Sonos system - I’ve added each speaker several times without any issue being reported in setup (speakers chime and seemingly connect). I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled. I can press play on the speaker itself and it plays the last thing I was listening to. Nothing has changed on the home network, wifi strength is good, everything else has remained connected without problem.I really want to like my Sonos system, but these repeated connectivity issues are just ridiculous. I shouldn’t have to regularly spend hours trying to identify where the problem is and set up the system up again.

Who knows why it is taking zo long to fix the app , that sound control etc react in the right way. Iam getting tired of it. If there are stil no improvements,  iam  going te sell it all and try another.
