Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Two points, and I’m not the first one to discuss either, but I want to be sure that the issues stay flagged: A-Z scrolling in Local Music Library.  The app is almost unusable for moderate to large libraries without it. Ability to see “Contributing Artists”.  The Windows App still does it.  For Compilation Albums, we currently have to choose between having every song in the album show up as its own album, or combine them by tagging ALBUMARTIST as “Various Artists”, but then lose the ability to see the actual artist of each song.  All competitors, including older versions of yourself, have this working properly.The Trello board has gone stale, and release notes recently have been non-specific.  What is your plan these days?

Recently added to Playbar and Sub 2 Era 100 speakers however since the Playbar will not create surround, I ordered a Beam Gen 2. Question - Will Sub Gen 1 work with the Beam 2, Era 100 to create the Surround? I know how the apps now work, but hoping when the Beam 2 arrives, it will all finally work. Thankls

Will you ever fix the poor Ui of the new app?  It’s still way to many steps to select a room and click forward click back to get to a room and it’s very inelegant.  Also, Will you ever add back alpha indexing to music library. Scrolling through 1,000 artists continues to frustrate me. I’m waiting for the app to be fully fixed before I consider buying any additional equipment. It’s been so long

I have no idea what the techs at Sonos have done to the software over last few years, but they have basically ruined a great system.when I try any basic control on Sonos these days, I am now pleasantly surprised if it works……but mostly it doesn’t.i am literally one step away from ditching the whole (10 unit) system for an old school hifi that I know will work.

I've just bought the roam 2, have to say I'm really dissapointed music playback is not enabled via amazon alexa.I did buy a cheaper speaker but returned as it didn't have WiFi and bought this thinking I could just randomly ask her to play music.Having owned the play 3 which has somehow developed an issue connecting to WiFi I feel I've spent an awful lot of money on speakers with limited capabilities! 

My sonos app says no system found, i have reinstalled everything including the app, factory rest, router and wifi reset, everything, but i cannot play any.music as it seems i dont have a system. 

Hi,I have an Sonos amp , Sonos arc and ceiling speakers that are not Sonos . The TV automatically connects to the Sonos arc when I turn on the TV . However, I have to go into the Sonos app and then activate the ceiling speakers to accompany the arc. Is there a way that both the arc and the ceiling speakers are automatically connected to the TV when I turn it on? ThanksBren 

I am trying to use my new Bose quiet comfort headphones via Bluetooth with my ultra arc.How can I do this??

Play:5 gen1. Only the subwoofer works. I need schematics or tips to solve this issue. Thanks

Ok so I have a Sonos Play 5 2 x Play 3, a Sonos 1 with Alexa and a boost and connect. I want to add a soundbar and a sub. I spent ages researching and bought a beam (Gen 2) and a sub mini. Plugged them in and neither compatible. I’m guessing it’s only a beam one or an Arc original. No idea on the sub mini. Didn’t really want to start again as everything still works. Mind you if the Arc ultra is as good as it sounds it might be worth it as I’m moving to a smaller house and losing my Marantz Receiver two Kef front speakers and a couple of missions on the surround. 

Starting probable a few weeks ago, I could not sign in to Sonos from my iOS app anymore. When I tried to sign in, the app took me to login.sonos.com. But everytime I got the same “incorrect email or password” error message. I am 100% sure that my email and password combination is correct. In fact I can log in to sonos just fine with the same email and password from a laptop computer, so I am not sure what goes wrong with the iPhone.Right now I can only see my speekers from my iPhone and play music, but I can not add or remove any services. Does anyone have the same issue? Please help me. Thanks.

Hola.Tengo problemas con el sonido envolvente de mis dos ERA 300, estos son usados como altavoces envolventes en un cine en casa con un sub 3 y una ARC ultra, cuando coloco películas el sonido envolvente presenta mucho cortes, lo cual dificulta una experiencia optima, esto tiene solución? por qué pasa esto?

Just replaced my Sonos CONNECT (wired set up) with Sonos Port (using wi-fi instead). I also have 10 Sonos:1’s, all on wi-fi. So I’m not using SonosNet anymore.The Sonos Port is connected and the app seems to think everything is fine after its setup. It’s output is connected to my receiver’s input, but there’s no sound coming out of the receiver’s speakers (the Sonos CONNECT worked fine prior). Sound is coming out of the rest of my Sonos speakers as usual.The network map shows all the Sonos speakers as being green. The Sonos Port is in white and says “Noise Floor: 0, 0, 0, 0 undefined” Anyone know what’s wrong here?

Hi I have the above setup connected to a beam gen2 via arc ,A sub mini and 2 Era100s as a surround pair. if I play a streaming app I get Dolby 5.1 or Atmos showing on Sonos app. If I play a blue ray or dvd I only see stereo pcm. The tv has auto, bypass , pcm settings and the blue ray player has hdmi as either auto or pcm. I have tried many combinations but it never changes from stereo pcm. 

Hi all,ideally I’d like to use my bookshelf speakers with a turntable utilising the amp. This is in the same room as my tv with a beam, can I not use my bookshelf speakers to provide surround sound and then when I’m playing vinyl utilise the bookshelf speakers? 

I have tried everything to reconnect my Sonos one after changing my router but with no joy. I've tried WiFi connection, hard connection, reset and reconnect, none of which works.  Please help as I've no got a very useless black boxThanks in advance,  Joe

I just picked up a stereo pair of 5s and will be connecting a CD player via line in.   Any plans for Sonos to bring back the option to turn off compression for these inputs? playing CDs as a converted 256AAC stream seems pointless - also if these CDs are ripped to FLAC and streamed that way, are those files compressed as well ? 

I have a set up including an ARC front and center with a SUB(gen 4)  and two 300 series surround speakers in my great room. I am having trouble hearing any of the dialogue with movies sports etc, the voices are faint and when I turn it up the bass and surrounding music is so loud it is unbearable for others in the rest of the house. I have done all of the room set up programming including TRU sound and also changed the sound height levels doesn't seem to help. any ideas?

My Sonos amp has no power light, reset is not working. I have tried alternative power cords

I have 2 play:1 2  symfonisk all working absolutely fine until 2 days ago. 1 play is connected via Ethernet, suddenly I cant connect to the system, the app on my phone lets me log in but wont see any speakers, i try to add them and i go through the whole factory reset and add speaker, whether its via ethernet or via wifi I get to the end and then I get a message saying that the speaker has been added but might need to be restarted to be available in the app. Try that and nothing.50 mins wait for support Was considering replacing it all with Era 100s but not looking so likely now.

I am unable to play music from YouTube music app on my Sonos Arc. I am able to play music from Spotify though. YouTube music app does not show the Sonos speaker itself. I was able to play earlier on my iPhone. This issue seems specific to Google pixel. Can you please advise?

Will a pair of ERA 100 play stereo out of a sonos port hard wired into a non sonos turntable. Nothing else is on the Port line.  I have the port connected to S2 App.
