Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Good day.  I’m currently installing a setup of a Sonos Arc Ultra under the main TV, with x2 ceiling speakers going back to a remote Sonos AMP.  Both have Ethernet on the same network. My question;If the Sonos Arc under the TV is connected via ethernet, does it matter where the Sonos Amp powering the ceiling speakers sits as long as it’s on the same network to create a Room/ Surround? Alright… I hope someone can help me with the following question because so far I couldn't find a clear answer.My current setup: Beam + 2 x One SL + SubThe Beam is connected to the TV and ethernet and the rest of the setup is connected to the Beam through the wireless Sonos system.Currently I'm looking for a vinyl player and would like to buy the Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Turntable (Sonos Edition).I'm thinking I could buy the Sonos Port and connect the Port to my setup through the Beam using the wireless Sonos system. The vinyl player is also connected to the Port (wired) and this way I can use vinyl with my setup. Is this thought process correct? If this works, will it use the whole setup or only the Beam?

I’ve been using SoundCloud and Sonos for 8+ years with no real issues. Last week I was asked to reauthenticate which I have done and now a couple of DJs I follow I can no longer access their weekly sets through the Sonos app. I can always download the podcast and save locally but it is strange that it has only just happened. My system is all Sonos S1. FYI it is Markus Schulz - Global DJ Broadcast.Thanks in advance.

Hi my Sonos Roam is mot working. I read about the problem somewhere and actually wanted to contact the company but it seems I can’t as the company selling the speakers 3 times a price of a competition dont care to have a proper customer service. I am in Poland and there is no live chat no telephone number, and the only support mail is to the ceo and this community. So anyway, my white light is blinking, I tried to reset it by using the standard procedure, it does not work. It stopped working randomly while playing music and I must admit this is not the first time it is doing that, always I just put it away and forget about it and then I suspect that the battery dies until I decide to use it again. Definately not something I would expect from a speaker I actually want to use. So it does not react to anything, I unpaired it, restarted my router and now I think this is actually a hardware problem and please tell me how can I contact the company to help me with the next step

I have an Arc Ultra connected to Tv Arc port. Works fine. In theory, I figure running an HDMI cable from the audio out of an Oppo bluray player directly to the Ultra should play audio but it does not. If I run it to an HDMI input on a A/V receiver, it does work. Why not on the Ultra?

I’m trying to configure the wifi access on a Sonos Play 1. I’ve following the instructions of resetting the Play 1 and then following the instructions on the app. Unfortunately when I select adding the speaker on the app nothing happens. Is there a way of rolling back the app to a version which was able to configure the wifi username and password on a Sonos Play 1

I have a few movies rips that have an Atmos 5.1 eAC3 track and a 7.1 eAC3 track. I’m using Infuse on an Apple TV 4K. Samsung Frame 2024 and an Arc Ultra based setup.  When I choose the Atmos track everything works as intended. I see the logo in the SONOS app. But when I choose the 7.1 track, it gets « downgraded » to stereo PCM as shown in the app.  I’m wondering if it’s a bug? A configuration thing? An incompatibility? Anyw views? Thanks!

I currently have Sonos amp paired with kef ls50 and Sonos sub.My tv is HDMI connected to amp, phono is on line in.  I would like to build atmos setup.  Will I be able to use amp and kefs in that setup if I get beam and two eras? Beam and amp/kefs would be in front and eras back?Will I be able to listen music only in stereo on amp/ kefs and sub? tnx :)

I purcharsed a sonos arc refurbished in the Sonos website. During that time I couldn’t extend my product warranty during my checkout. So I called sonos back in April 2024 after registering my product. (FYI- The agent couldn’t register it because it was still registerd to the previous person/buyer) I was told to wait for an email from the extended warranty. I've called multiple times after and received another story stating that I will show up on your sonos.com/ system area.  I'm very disappointed with the customer service at Sonos. Every sonos agents had a different story.  I'm not asking for anything for free, I just want to extend my product warranty. I"m close to selling all my sonos products and returning my mini sub to Bestbuy. I have to rethink if I should ever buy products again at Sonos, also I"m thinking about switching to a different product to Bose. It's bad enough we had to deal with software issues t

Hi, what do you recommend doing if the TV degrades or disrupts the Dolby Atmos signal due to poor eARC support? Is there an optimal solution to ensure the Sonos Arc receives the proper Atmos audio, such as using an HDMI splitter or another connection method, without needing to upgrade the TV?

Seems this is a common issue but cant seem to see a resolution. New LG TV, with Sonos Arc Ultra, whereby my Bluetooth headphones disconnect after a few seconds. The Arc keeps taking the audio then my bluetooth loses connection.i have tried to switch off Simplink but after a few seconds Simplink automatically switches back on.Does anyone have any ideas how I can use Bluetooth and stop Sonos automatically connecting?

Hi allOne of my Sonos five:s does not start anymore, the indicator does not light up at all. Anyone who experienced the same and did you solve it? or do i need to fina a repairman?I´ve tried changing powercord but still the same resultthankful for help//David

If your CR200 controller won’t charge, or appears to only charge intermittently, try the following:With the controller resting in its cradle, select restart from the advanced settings menu.  It will then restart and charge. Well it certainly works for ours.

How come only part of my YouTube songs are shown on Sonos?

From iPad app; note Kitchen and Music Room are faint, but still show volume.I have a variety of speakers in my HT system that have worked for years. Lately a few speakers show up, looking faint, but still selected, and still showing volume, even though they are not making any sound. Have tried basic things like powering off, inplugging, checking network selection. I’m hoping someone else has seen and solved this.

I just upgraded my Move 2 and I only got SBC codecs left. What went wrong?

Hi,I have a small issue, my new Ikea/sonos speaker can’t play with my other speakers (One and Play:5).I can make it work on it’s own but if I try to sync it with my other sonos speakers it won’t work and show an error : “Unable to connect, Try again Later”.Do you guys have any clue on what could be the problem ?Is this by design ?Btw I tried factory Resets and unplugs. Thanks !

My iPhone and iPad apps are inconsistent. They can see the speakers but sometimes, often but not always, can’t see my music library (on a NAS) or stream from on line services. On the home page sometimes my music library is not shown under “Your Sources”; sometimes it is but I can’t then see tracks, albums, artists etc. I can always seem to run the system from my laptop. I have rebooted the router; stopped and restarted the app; made sure everything is up to date.System is as follows:Beam; Play:1; Five; Playbar; 2 Roams; Play 3; and a Boost which is wired in. System ran fine for years and I would guess the problems started a couple of months ago. Help!!!!   

I have two Sonos systems: one in the main house (composed of a stereo pair of Play:1 speakers, one Sonos One, an additional Play:1, one Play:3, a Sonos Playbar with Sub Gen2, and two Play:1 surround speakers) and one in the second home (composed of three Play:3 speakers and one Play:1). Both systems use a Sonos Boost, and the networks are configured with the same SSID and password so that I automatically connect to the available system.Until recently, both installations worked properly (even though the new app is a bit slow). Disappointed to find that Sonos Mag 6.1 has no Bluetooth connectivity. In the age of advanced audio electronics it is difficult to imagine a high end audio streaming device that doesn’t have Bluetooth connectivity. I spent over 12 hours installing this system around my customers pool. Now we will be removing it and reinstalling a system with this most basic feature. Very disappointed in Sonos. There should be a large highly visible warning on this system stating that it is not Bluetooth compatible. Huge waste of time. 

Howdy guys im curious if there is a way to get equal audio from both SL's and the Arc Like for instance typical home theater receiver has an "All Channel Surround" where all speakers produce the same audio im looking for that , i love the speakers but the way the surrounds disperse audio drives me crazy. If i could get them all to play full audio for things that dont need surround sound that would be awesome.  Any help would be greatly appreciatedThank ya 

Just bought an Arc soundbar and hooked up to my Sony tv. I’m on the Sonos app and next to the TV it says Stereo pcm. This bar doesn’t seem to have much base or great sound the way I know Sonos speakers can have. I am in the Earc hdmi source just looking for advise or should I return this product. Thanks Guys
