I have a Sonus Roam in kitchen. Sonus Beam(Named kitchen) in Kitchen and a brand new Sonus Beam 2 (named living room)in living room. When I ask alexa to play radio in kitchen Both Kitchen beam and roam respond and say playing radio station. The roam plays the station but not the kitchen beam but annoyingly the radio comes on the Beam 2 in the living room disturbing anyone watching TV. The Beam 2 cannot hear me as doors shut and Microphones off. Any ideas thanks

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues when giving Alexa commands to your system.
I’d check that the Roam and Beam Gen 2 aren’t grouped in the Sonos app, nor are they grouped in the Alexa app, otherwise this may cause the Beam Gen 2 to join in without asking. If your kitchen Beam is named Kitchen, then I wouldn’t expect the Roam to start playing if you specify with the command “Alexa, play radio in the kitchen.” Check what everything is called in the Alexa app, as you may have some overlap or incorrectly named devices.
If you haven’t already, then I would recommend removing the Sonos skill from Alexa, then adding it back and trying the command to see if that helps. If the Alexa app looks fine and re-adding the Sonos skill doesn’t help, then please reach out to our support team for further troubleshooting help. They have the necessary tools available to look into your system and see what’s going wrong.
