Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I’m frustrated because I have lately been unable to use my iPhone hotspot with my Sonos Roam.  I’ve done a factory reset multiple times and the best I get is asking Alexa for time and it responds but when I ask to play music, it’ll say the artist, but it doesn’t play  

Should I buy the Beam 2 at the moment or is the new app still bug ridden?

Cannot play on Beam or Symfonisk directly from Spotify. My devices show in the device list, but when choosing a Sonos device, it just blinka for awhile and the reverts to the phone. Been like this for the past two weeks. Playing through the Spotify app works fine, playing from Spotify to other devices (Google cast devices) also works as intended, so Sonos seem to be the culprit here. This needs to be fixed. (Same issue from Pc)

I have an issue with my Sonos Ace headphones which make them broadly useless for my everyday needs. I have them connected to my phone via bluetooth and also registered to my Sonos App. Whenever they are connected I have a warning on my bluetooth screen saying ‘Problem Connection. turn device off and back on’ (obviously turning it off and on again doesn’t work) I have audio with the device no problem, music, podcasts whatever, but if someone calls me, it doesn’t ever allow me to use the Ace as an option for the call (same if i dial out.) The correct permissions are selected, headphones are up to date V 3.15-232a694e  A set of £450 headphones that don’t allow calls….. About right for sonos. 

I have recently upgraded to Sequoia 15.3 on my iMac and as usual after every update my Sonos system stops workingThis time, my apple music library is not found - all views say ‘No Selections are available’I have checked the usual issues around file and media sharing settings but these look ok, so tried removing the assigned library and re-adding as the ‘found music folder’ and the when this did not work i tried adding the ‘manual menu path’ from my user path. I also tried uninstalling and re-installing the S1 app but nothing.Anyone else had this issue?

I have a sonos one player and i was wondering if i can connect it to my tv for audio output. Can i use sonos roam to do so ? Cuz sonos rome does have Bluetooth feature. Is is possible to connect roam to tv and link roam to sonos one for the same audio output on both speakers ??? 

Since the bungled software release I have had loads of issues with Sonos, alongside many others, but have worked around and fixed things as possible but some issues remain. I just spent 1 ½ hrs talking to Sonos without getting anywhere.Everything works correctly in iTunes, listing, playing and searching.However, when I select ‘Albums’ in Sonos on my Mac laptop or on iPhone, I see a repeated list of the Album title, followed by each and every track. SO a 20 track album is listed 20 times under albums and you cannot play the entire album! If I select one of them I can only play a single track - has anyone experienced this? I also can no longer ‘see’ playlists that are on iTunes either. Needless to say all was fine before the App change last year. Can anyone advise please?   

Is there any update on when this will be fixed?  It is possible to play albums on other streaming platforms eg Tidal. It doesn’t make any sense that IDAGIO has been excluded.  Surely this is not a difficult problem to solve.

This error is being generated repeatedly.  Every once in a while it works and indexes my library.  Eventually, the error pops up again and the entry is removed from my Sonos app.  My platform is a Macbook Pro M4 with 128GB of RAM and 8TB of disk.  There is no resource issue.    The networking is solid, with a Netgear Orbi that is within 10 to 15 feet of each speaker.  I’m the only user on the network; there’s no other heavy activity.The SMB share that MacOS provides is accessible (hence the app sometimes works).  The permissions are correct.How can I fix this?  I literally don’t use the Sonos app to play music anymore because this doesn’t work more than half the time.  

Hi, I have Sonos SL one speaker and downloaded the Sonos windows desktop app but not getting an option to setup new system as only getting pop up with two options. Connect to existing system  Learn how to setup which takes me to online sonos website to download app again.  

I have 12 sonos speakers i have rebalance the volume on each seaker everytime i put on music. I dont understand why Sonos cant provide a small selection of presets for people that spent a fair amount moeny on their products??????

I have been very happy with my Sonos set-up that has 10+ speakers. Now I had app update and everything seems very difficult. Connection between Sonos and Spotify that has worked before is now delayed and not working. Is this due to some known error or is it then in my WiFi connection?  Really frustrating to have all these speakers around the house and the play music from portable JBL Bluetooth speaker. 

It’s 2025, I’m in my 60’s. Can you help with today’s technology? I used Rhapsody over a decade ago but what is the way to make a playlist these days. Subscription okay. Not having luck with Spotify.  My system is old but sounds fantastic...still have operating controller (about the size of a card deck). I really want to make playlists.

No TV Involved at all. No HDMI, I have a Project CD player plugged into Sonos Amp. Thats all.The following remote controls the CD player using IR. When I go to train the AMP to use the volume control buttons it does not recognise the buttone presses (but it does recognise that it is an unrecognised remote to begin with  Does the SONOS amp not have the ability to register some IR codes?

Hi, I have only just started using Sonos / YouTube music however have come across a difference in functionality between Android and iOS devices. In the Sonos app, if I navigate to YouTube Music > Library > Songs and select a song to play, it plays that song as expected. The difference is, that on iOS (both iPhone 16 Pro Max and iPad Pro), it ONLY plays that one song and stops, however on Android it continues to work it’s way down the song list automatically which is what I would expect. Is there a setting to enable “next” to play in iOS? In iOS, a PLAYLIST continues with the next song as expected as does in Android.

Has Sonos restored the ability to add songs to an existing playlist? And can new playlists be created and songs added? 

i have an arc ultra with with an old subwoofer. Can I pair the old subwoofer with the sub gen 4 in my home theater?

I have Sonos for 10 years. I just bought an Era 100 I can’t add it to my system. 

Hooray! I seem to have my playlists back but no album Artwork, however it does show next to the tracks but not in the main heading space 🤔

For the past few years, I’ve been playing a 3 hour long White Noise track from Spotify on my Sonos One, as well as my son’s Sonos One. I select the track and then click repeat to make sure it continues through the entire night. We’ve never had issues using it this way in the past. Recently, and for reasons unknown, my Sonos Ones in both rooms will randomly start playing Jazz music around 5:00 AM / 6:00 AM. I check both Queues and the only tracks in each one are the White Noise track mentioned above, which is also set to repeat until I turn it off. All software and apps are up to date. I have no idea what’s causing this. There are no alarms set either. Completely random and waking me and my kids up early than necessary everyday. Any one else experiencing this issue or just me? Just had a 30 minute call with Support and after walking me through all of their suggestions, they too admitted they have no clue what’s causing this to h

Upgraded MacOS to Sequoia and Sonos stopped working. Here is the manner in which I was able to get it working again:Sequoia 15.x.x (in my case 15.3.1) Download / Install latest app from Sonos website Check the following settings before launching the app: Open System Settings Network Firewall Options Make sure Sonos connections are set to “allow incoming connections” Privacy & Security Local Network Make sure Sonos is enabled Start Sonos App If the app can’t detect the Sonos System Reset the Sonos Controller, which forces you to setup the system as if it were for the first time When the app recognizes the Sonos system, if it cannot access the music library that needs to be re-shared: Share your music folder in MacOSOpen System Settings.

Hi All,In my living room, I have 4 sonos Speakers.1 symfonisk bookshelf 1 sonos one 1 sonos one sl 1 symfonisk lamp speakerI would like to have them always behave as a single “Living Room” speaker unit.I was able to join the sonos one and SL in a stereo speaker and they behave as one. I would like to do this to all of them.I sense that the group functionality from sonos app is OK for different rooms, but when you have speakers in the same room it's a bit clumbsy. every now and them only half of them are playing. I need to open sonos app and select again all I want to enable.All in all, I'm looking for a more streamlined, seamless, ROOM aggregation. 

I have 2 sonance amps but can’t them to play together. I have the option to switch from one amp to the other but each time I do, the itherone disappears from the group setup. Any thoughts how to get visibility to both amps at same time on appamd play same music for both?
