Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hi,I’ve got a Sonos setup (several devices) and have connected my paid Spotify subscription but it still thinks it’s the free plan so it plays adverts and doesn’t allow me to skip etc.What’s curious is that if I look at the recently played songs and playlists in the Sonos app, I see those I’ve listened to on my phone just using the Spotify app - so it’s got to be linked correctly.As this only happens on Sonos, I’m starting the conversation here.Cheers

Save alarm.The save does not error, however the alarm will default back to Sonos Chime. The failure seems intermittent, which makes it worse. I am selecting albums hosted on SMB. The album remains playable even when the alarm loses it.Terrible experience when I use this alarm to play white noise at night.

I have handed over my 10 year old Beam and two play 1 speakers to my son in law but when he got it home and plugged it in it did not display on his freshly downloaded app. Is there some thing I should have doen before handing it over as the items in question no longer appear on my app, just my new ones bought last week

I have an old first gen Sonos system.  Play 1,3 and 5.  I still use the Sonos S1 app.  I also use a Sonos Connect to listen to Sonos on my home stereo system through a pioneer amplifier and Bose speakers.  This all works well. I want to listen to my turntable and cds on the rest of my Sonos system, not just on my stereo system and Bose speakers. I know I could plug the turntable or cd player directly into the Sonos Connect to the analog Input, but there are 2 problems with this.  First, there is only room to plug one of them in, and second this would mean they were not plugged into my stereo system.  So, my question is, how/can I have these components on my stereo system through my receiver and also be able to have them extend through my Sonos.  Any help greatly appreciated.

My setup: Sonos beam 2 → connected to hdmi eArc on TCL tvApple tv → connected to normal HDMI Cec enabled If the sound format is set to Dolby atmos (as it is by default) on my apple TV, there is no sound from the speakers. If I change it to Dolby digital 5.1 it works (although, sometimes it suddenly disappears and I have to change the sound format back and forth again to make it work).Does anyone know how to make the Beam output dolby atmos from apple tv? Does anyone else have problem with the sound suddenly stop working when the Beam is connected to an apple tv?

I had a folder in my NAS Library with a set of FLAC files. The Album appeared in the Windows App,with track names corresponding to the FLAC filenames. I then  deleted the folder, and updated the Library; the Albun disappeared. I then restored the folder with copies of the files, after I had changed the sample rates and modified the filenames, which had been long anc complicated. BUT when I updated the Library, the Album reappeared with the original filenames. The files themselves are the modified ones, with the altered filenames, but the track names shown in the App are the original ones. How and why does the app remember the original names, when I have deleted the files are replaced them with different filenames ? Does SONOS just get the tracknames from a web server ?

I am getting this error when I try to play. I am constantly plagued by “Sonos-issues” and reading the various forums, I understand that is what is to expect from Sonos.  This is a new one and all troubleshooting is in vain. Is it already bricked?  

Hi everyone, I have recently upgraded my system with Sonos Arc Ultra and two ERA 300. In order to connect to my projector BENQ 2700 i (no eARC but 2 HDMI ports that supports audio return) I also got a HD Fury Arcana 2 8.1 . In my initial set up I get sound from the Arc Ultra and ERAs when streaming music. I however can not get sound through the Arcana  when connected to the projector (or TV).  When I first initiated setting up the ARC to projector (TV) it refused as it could not connect to CEC.  Sonos support was unhelpful and informed me that Sonos is primarily developed for TVs and they were unable to help.  I therefore bought a small Phillips TV (24PHS6808/12) with CEC which I plan to return after successful setup with my BenQ projector. The ARC then concluded TV set up and confirmed that ArC Ultra was connected to to the TV. I hoped that this golden handshake would solve my problems. I did however  not get any sound from the ARC even though I checked TV settings and have activated

I've read all the posts on this forum, tried everything suggested time and time again and now completely frustrated with it.Actually everything was working fine until I was forced to change ip supplier from Virgin to talk talk, and coincidentally update W11 to version 24 H2. Now it's all screwed. I managed to update the mobile app to the new network ip, which seems to behave fine on sonos radio, but neither the mobile or lappy now on V24H2 will pick up the shared music folder.On the lappy, Mcafee permissions are set to accept sonos incoming approach from the loaded app, files are shared, and typed in SonosLibrary under permissions advanced tab but to no avail. I even turned fire walls off. What is wrong? 

I love the “enhanced” dialog enhancement of the Arc Ultra.  At the moment, you must navigate to “Settings” to change the desired level of enhancement.  It would be great if the App  control (which now simply turns dialog enhancement On or Off) allowed you to cycle through the various levels.  Not a big surprise, but I find that different types of content require different levels of enhancement - e.g., an action film (High) versus the play-by-play in a football game (Low or Medium).  Can this one control be used to provide On/Off functionality for the Arc, but Low/Medium/High/Off functionality for the Arc Ultra?

I can only play one song through my Apple Music library, which has over 3000 songs. I can shuffle music and it will show in Sonos queue If it’s in a playlist.  How can I play my entire Apple Music library where it will play more than one song and show up in Sonos’s queue.

Everything seems fine at first, but then it doesn’t work. Most of the time, I can’t add the device to my system. It's disappointing that the Sonos Line-In Adapter is not included with Sonos speakers and must be purchased separately. Given the premium price of Sonos speakers, this adapter should be supplied as standard, especially since third-party alternatives are incompatible, leaving customers with no choice but to buy the official Sonos adapter.The more significant issue, however, is the mandatory audio delay enforced by the Sonos App when using the line-in adapter. The app only allows delay options ranging from 75ms to 2000ms, with no option for a 0ms delay. This is incredibly frustrating, as it creates noticeable synchronization issues between video and audio, in my case I'm using the Sonos Era 300 speaker with line-in adapter alongside other speakers which creates a noticeable eco in the audio output.Sonos, PLEASE UPDATE the mobile app to include a 0ms delay option! This is essential for a seamless and premium audio experience, which is expected at this price point. 

My LG  2024 Tv and Sonos Beam two sl1 and mini sub have worked perfectly until today. the sound settings on The TV have completely changed to a long bar for adjustment, also The speakers lack surround sound,the only thing difference is we watched football on the red button setting, could that have caused a complete  change ? Completely baffled!

Hi there,I recently replaced my old play 5s with newer speakers that I added to the new Sonos app. I still have two speakers (play 3 and play 1) and a boost in the S1 app. I wanted to transfer them but somehow I cannot get it to work. S1 asks me to update and when I do that it opens the new Sonos app. But when I then update there it says the system is up to date and the three devices do not show in the new app. Not sure what to do? Now that legacy TuneIn is gone from the new (buggy) iOS controller and all my custom radio stations (in my case from Digitally Imported di.fm)  were gone and there is no information on the Sonos site I luckily found a way to get them back. However it involves recreating them which can be labour intensive depending on how many you have. You will also need the IOS version of TuneIn for this to work. In het verleden kon je Sonos bedienen met de volume knoppen van een iPhone. Dat is ergens in een update verloren gegaan. Ook is de volume regeling in de Sonos app totaal oncontroleerbaar geworden en ik heb niet eens zulke dikke vingers. Once again my entire system is no longer available. I have an Arc, 2 Ports 4 Sonos One Gen 2s and 2 Sonos 1 Gen 1s. My sonos move 2 will not connect to my apartment building wifi, and when i try to connect it via bluetooth by pressing the bluetooth button on the back it wont go into pairing mode, i made sure everything was up to date and charged, i just purchased the speaker a few days ago and still havent been able to enjoy it, is there any fixes?

Hi - I know this has been asked and answered in many different ways and forums, I have tried many of those solutions but still have instances where speakers drop in/out. I have not been able to pinpoint any specific event that may drive this.My wifi is strong, I have a mesh network, a few of the speakers connect to the 5Hz but most to the 2.4Hz network. When things get really, really bad I unplug all speakers (16) and reboot my router and mesh, then plug them all back in. This seems to work with some lags.The issue has been persistent since the new app, I have changed my router (from stock xfinity to a Synology Mesh) and seen no difference. My Arc was hard wired, so SonosNet which I have since taken on wifi and away from SonosNet, there is some perceived stability after this (maybe?).I have been thinking of creating a separate Sonos only 2.4Hz network for all the speakers to test, does this make sense? It will be a bit annoying since my mobile will have to use the 2.4Hz or I will have
