Hello, I’m trying to summarize the problems with the music library, at least as far as I’m concerned.I’ll describe my scenario: QNAP NAS with a library of about 17,000 files, organized into folders by artist. I use SMB protocol v2 and v3. I have 2 SONOS Play1, 1 Play 5, and a soundbar + SUB. I’m using the new Android app.The issues I’ve encountered with the library, which frustrate me quite a bit since I purchased SONOS years ago specifically for managing the internal music library, are as follows:- When I start a playlist (for example, of 300 songs), the queue populates with 64,000 tracks, repeating the playlist in a loop.- In the alarm configuration, it’s no longer possible to set a playlist, only the buzzer or external services (spodify, sonos radio, ecc...)- Difficulty adding songs to the queue.- Cannot play music from an entire folder (selecting music library - folders).- Cannot find podcasts on Spotify.- Radio stations of

I am at wits end, two hrs on phone with support and they still do not understand the issue I have a number of sonos units, port unit wired to home network, other Play:5 (Gen 1) S1 devicesThe play 5 units cannot access music on my local library . It seems it happened after a recent firmware update. I’ve used wireshark to trace the issue. Looks like the firmware in the S1 units do not send a proper filename/path to the smb server. See screenshots of the traffic to the one unit that works and the Play5 that does not work. Hope this is picked up by support via this channel. Hi, would appreciate your thoughts before buying an Ultra please.I’m looking to stream music from a Synology NAS (DS223j) to the Arc Ultra and then out to 2 pair of Edifier speakers (R1700BTs), where one pair would connect as front left and right and the other pair similarly as the rear speakers.Ideally this would be controlled by Alexa.Is this possible please ?Many thanks.

First, I apologize up front if this has been asked/answered in other threads.  I have done searches but nothing directly comes up for my questions that I have found. I currently have a great room and purchased an Arc Ultra soundbar (in use with latest generation Samsung Frame TV connected via HDMI/ARC) in the Living Room space.  It sounds great, but obviously on the other end of the room you really have to turn that soundbar up loud to hear it, which becomes uncomfortable if in the Living Room space.  Was thinking of adding Sonos ceiling architectural speakers into that area (the kitchen) to keep sound levels reasonable.  However I am learning about the latency that will become an issue.  It seems like there is a creative way to solve this issue, and am trying to figure that out.Some options I am considering:HDMI/ARC Splitter or distributor - What if I send the same signal from the Frame tv to both the soundbar and the Sonos amp driving the ceiling speakers via

Hello!I have two older Sonos Play:1 speakersMy system is MacOS Mojave 10.14.My music files are on an external SSD named WORK. The folder address is WORK/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/MusicI followed the different Sonos and community tutorials. To add my files, I still have an error 913. However, I followed the tutorial and activated file sharing and set the rights on the shared folder WORK.Then I entered the line //volumes/WORK/Musique/iTunes/iTunes Media/MusicNothing to do: error 913Thank you for your answers!

Do someone know how to make sonos works with startlink.(much better from some dsl providers) and speed really good.- i know starlink says that satelite connections does not work but dsl yes..  i have tested makeing a bypass mode on starlink gen3 router to my own , but this does not help.  apreciate help to sort this issue out .and by the way Denon home works perfectly well with starlink.. 

Hello, The Sonos App on Android is no longer functional when it comes to playing Playlists stored in a Synology NAS. We are only able to play one playlist, but we can see the others. We have attempted several remedies, including:Deleting the Music Library path in the app and re-adding it Manually deleting the .m3u files in the NAS, and resyncing them ReindexingThis solved *nothing.* In fact, there are now double listings for the playlists in the app, even though each file is only there once. Has anyone else experience something similar? Please chime in if you have, especially if you have a fix for this issue. And *yes,* we are using SMB 2. on our NAS I apologize if this comes off as frustrated, but frankly this is, on such expensive equipment.

I am very disappointed with Sonos. For years I have enjoyed using their products. But now, the darn controller will not find my system. I have done all of the suggested things and no joy. Rebooted everything. Nothing has changed on my system. It just wouldn’t find my Sonos system. So I uninstalled the controller and reinstalled it. No joy. Previous to this issue I was unable to connect to my local music library on my PC. Anyone else gone through this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would hate to have to start over with new speakers.

Hi I have my Sonos Arc Ultra connected to my lg g4 and the sound dips out only for a second or two but on a regular basis.Ive done all the disconnecting and reconnecting, checked and altered any settings that required changing and still does it.even tried a brand new hdmi cable tonight that I ordered specially and no joy.My old Arc connected to the lg g1 did exactly the same thing, starting to drive me a little crazy now.What is going on, anyone else had these issues? 

Is it possible to set a max volume so my kid don't bother the neighbors when I'm at work? 

Are any subwoofers compatible with my Sonos One Gen 2?

i have just purchased 2 subs gen 1-2 not sure thinking i could play music straight from my phone so is that possible or do i need to buy more equipment 

Hi guysWell finally after nearly 12 months and countless updates to S2 app have now have full functionality on my Pixel 6a phone. I had contacted Sonos support on several occasions to fix the problem I was having. That was I could not “manage” my Sonos system on my pixel 6a, whereas I could on my iPad and even on android phones running older android version. But today, finally that issue has been resolved YAH.Thankyou.

Hi Sonos Community,I currently have a TV setup in my living room consisting of a Beam Gen 2, a One Gen 2, and a Sub Mini.I'm considering adding another speaker to enhance the room’s sound while also having the flexibility to take it outside into the garden or another area beyond my living room. That’s why I’m looking at the Move 2, as it offers Bluetooth connectivity and portability.However, I’ve come across some posts suggesting that the Move 2 might not pair with a Sub Mini. I’d love to know if this setup will work seamlessly when watching TV or listening to music, or if I might run into compatibility issues when integrating the Move 2 to my setup.Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Using the S1 app my gen 1 Connect:Amp ZP120 will often lose audio for 5 to 10 seconds while playing Spotify. It is grouped with a Play:1 which does not drop audio.  Everything is on WiFi, which is congested, however there are no issues listening to Sonos Radio, Amazon Music, PocketCasts, etc. Unfortunately I have no control or access to the WiFi set-up at my apartment.  I know there are memory issues with the gen 1 Play:5 and Spotify which is why I sold mine and went with the Connect:Amp which I already had and just needed some speakers for. Gapless playback, automix, and crossfade are all disabled in the Spotify app since I read those could lead to issues with older equipment.  I have a diagnostic report *********** run right after the audio dropped.  Is there anything I'm missing here that could fix this other than upgrading to a current generation Amp and S2 app? On Windows 10, Sonos went to//My Computer/Music. Now it goes to//Desktop-PRMVB3Q/Music and there is no such folder. Network profile is private. Music folder is shared with everyone. Firewall not blocking. Radio station plays on the Sonos just fine.

System consists of 5 x Play 1 speakers all updated . Works fine , purchased 2 x Roam speakers, system sees them but will not update. Tried all solutions recommended. Purchased Era100 speaker and likewise system sees speaker but will not update. I am thinking of closing down all speakers and changing the speaker plugged into router from a Play 1 to the new Era 100 to see if it is a compatibility issue anyone had experience if this please?

Can you pair 3 Sonos move 2 speakers together?

Hi,I’m planning an audio setup for my living, dining & kitchen open space, which you can see on the plan and the 3D sketch above, with the measurements.I was thinking to install Sonos architectural speakers: - 2 pairs of Sonos In-Ceiling 8” for the living and dining area (vaulted ceiling) and - a pair of Sonos In-Ceiling 6” for the kitchen area (flat ceiling).Each speaker will have a dedicated ceiling-box it will be installed in and all 6 of them will be connected directly to a single AMP with a Helusound 400 2x2.5mm2 cables. I read in Sonos guidance that the Trueplay won’t be possible if there is a mixture of speakers connected to the same AMP, which I’m planning to use here. I’m considering changing a pair of 6” to 8” but it may be an overkill for such a small area.Speakers in these areas

My Sonos roam was working perfectly fine a couple days ago and now it is showing a flashing red light. I have tried to charge it and I have switched out the chargers and it is still happening. The speaker will connect to my phone and other devices and it will tell me that the music is playing but no sound comes out. 

Anyone else having problems with system kicking off products? I have an Arc, sub amd two era 100s. It keeps dropping sub. As well will not allow ‘tune play’ starts initial step then says no speakers found. Just spent over a hour and there submitted diagnostics and still not working. So frustrated with Sonos after spending thousands for my system.  

Connecting is a damn nuisance. Often turn the speaker on and struggle to get a connection. No other Bluetooth product has ever given me a problem, but Sonos does.
