I long ago sold my Bridge and my Sonos S2 app no longer show the device.  However, the sonos.com list of equipment still show it along with two controllers.  I only ever had one and also sold it.

How do I remove that equipment from my sonos.com system list?

Pretty much "you can't" Sonos doesn't seem interested in manually removing it either.

Since it hurts nothing, just ignore the old stuff.

It essentially means the person you sold it to never registered it to their account (you may not have factory reset it before getting rid of it). The only way things get removed from your account on Sonos.com is if they get registered to a new account.

I have several devices there that I’ve ‘recycled’ in some way, including BRIDGEs. As @Stanley_4 suggests, just ignore them. Or contact the person you sold it to, and suggest they haven’t bothered to register it to their own Sonos account.

Bruce, thanks for that reply!  I’d pretty much assumed there was no easy way to delete old gear but thought I’d try the Community just in case . . .

Now yo get on with integrating my Sonos gear with Home Assistant!

There is no easy way but you could create a new Sonos account under a different email address, then use the Transfer System Ownership option in the app. This will register your current online Sonos devices back to your original Sonos account, leaving the old unused devices under the other account.

Edit: the first step would be to actually change the email address associated with your existing Sonos account on Sonos.com, then create a new Sonos account with the previous email address.

I can think of an easier way, get a small white Post-it note or similar, when you are looking at your system, just cut the Post-it to size and place on the screen over the bridge, then its gone.

PS - Remember to remove the Post-it when you leave sonos.com, and keep safe, in case you need it again.

You really shouldn’t hide the Bridge as it’s possible Sonos will run another promo where the 15% upgrade credit on the Bridge is adjusted to 30%. If you hide it then you could miss out on this offer.

I don’t think the BRIDGE is eligible for that kind of discount. Last I looked, and it’s been quite a while, they were limited to discounts on the BOOST only, and now that the BOOST isn’t sold…who knows? I suppose I should look, but I got all my BRIDGES for free, as part of a speaker purchase, and to expect a discount seems odd.

Check the upgrade T&Cs. For at least the past 3yrs, a 15% upgrade credit on any product has been available with the Bridge.
