Hi,I have Unifi Dream Machine. I referenced the following and it said I can have everything wired and make it work. However, It seems like when I have everything wired (and turned off wifi) the surrounds + subs get lost --still connected to the network but doesn’t output any sound. Has anyone run into similar issues? When i asked AI app it mentions that home theater has a private masked network running on 5GHz, so I cannot disable wifi (arc won’t be able to talk to other speakers). But Unifi doesn’t support STP on a per port basis (only globally) so it didn’t seem to work either. Has anyone gotten it to work?
For the last couple of days my Audible has not been accessible from the Sonos app. I have tried re authorising the audible account which hasn’t helped and have also reset the Sonos app, again this has not fixed the issue. It just displays the Something went wrong message after a few seconds.
Hello, a couple days ago my Sonos Beam stopped outputting sound from my Hisense Roku TV. Nothing has changed as far as I’m aware, but the TV does not recognize it as an audio output source. The TV doesn’t detect it when I look for CEC devices, and the soundbar doesn’t detect that it is connected to a TV. The Beam is connected to my TV via eARC, I have tried three different HDMI cables with no results. I’ve factory reset both devices and tried everything else I can think of, nothing works. Please help! I don’t want to have to get a new tv or soundbar.
Does anyone else have this problem?I have the MyTuner service installed. It shows stations from all over the world, but as far as I can tell, it absolutely refuses to play anything from outside my own country (I’m in the UK). When I try, the play icon changes momentarily to a “stop” icon, then changes back. Sometimes I get a “Couldn’t play content” error, sometimes not.I know there have been problems with geofencing stations in the past, but the stations I have tried are certainly streamable in the UK, even using the MyTuner app on other platforms such as iOS or Android, or via the MyTuner website. So it’s not that MyTuner can’t play them, it’s something about the implementation on Sonos that is different. And as I said, it affects everything apart from UK stations.Any ideas? Thanks
So I’m really looking forward to the Ace Ultra but I wanted to know if anyone has managed to get any discount codes to work? When I purchased the Arc Ultra+2 x Era 500’s a few years back my 15% blue light coupon (In the UK) worked just fine, the Arc Ultra had been released a week prior to me ordering but I can’t seem to get the coupon to work with the Ace Ultra pre-order even though the code is accepted as being legit the price just doesn’t seem to change. I contacted customer support to query them about it but the guy didn’t really know why it was accepting the coupon but not adding it, mind you it did work on other products so maybe it’s because it’s a pre-order?
Hello all. I’ve owned Sonos gear since 2005:I created my first local music library back before streaming services. It contains several hundred albums of music - some of which are not available via online services - on a 64BG thumb drive; I first had the drive connected to the USB port of a router - until that was obsoleted due to security concerns; For many years, my solution was to use an Apple Airport Extreme as a router or dedicated file sharing gizmo; All of that was broken when the decision to drop support SMB v1 took place.I have tried, on my own and with the Sonos support folks, to figure out a way to regain access to this music. I haven’t been able to justify the cost of adding a NAS server. This summer, I used some of the AI tools to see if there was a solution using an inexpensive router that had SMB v2 support:There is an inexpensive [$29.99] router made by GL.iNet called a Mango; If you’re willing to spend some time tweaking its software, you can get it to act as a local m
Hi,I’m planning on a ceiling mount for the amp, where the amp would be upside down and there is nothing in amp manual that specifically either allows or prohibits that orientation. The amp would be screwed onto a metal plate about 50mm wide and 250mm long which in turn would be screwed to joists in the ceiling. Would that create a problem with ventilation, if so would it need to be spaced off the ceiling to allow airflow, or would I have to construct a U shaped bracket to mount the right way up and how much gap between the top of the amp and the ceiling - looking at pictures of the rack mount I would imagine ½ inch would be more than adequate
I’m using Roam2 and I have an Amazon Music Unlimited subscription. I want to use it, but when I try to sign in, I’m redirected to the “amazon.com” page and cannot complete the registration. This is because my subscription was made through “amazon.co.jp” in Japan. If anyone knows how to register it in Japan, please let me know how to proceed.
Hey, I've got two Era 100s as surround speakers, a Sonos Beam Gen 2, and a Sub Mini. I was wondering if anyone could suggest good EQ, surround audio, and sub audio settings for a nice cinematic experience with a balanced sound. Appreciate it very much.

I have been a long time Sonos supporter and promoter. These connectivity issues, encoding issues , etc have persisted way too long now where a once stable and reliable product has now become the opposite. It’s unfortunate. I am probably moving my house setup as well as my company setup to another brand. I assume many Sonos fans are in the same boat. They really can’t solve the issues and don’t communicate anything they are doing about it.
When I adjust the speaker volume up to a reasonable volume the volume ii is automatically turned back down within a few seconds. Everything is new and up to date. Any suggestions?
I have an older system (2013). Set up using a bridge and connect. I have two play 3 speakers and one Play 1 speaker set up with the system. I also currently connect my receiver to the system and use the speakers on that to play in one room.recently we have started having some issues with the system cutting out, so I updated both the Sonos1 app and installed and updated the Sonos 2 app. Now things are really wonky!the Sonos 1 app says that both my Sonos Play 1 and 3 speakers are incompatible. But the bridge and connect work fine with the receiver.the Sonos 2 app says the bridge and connect need updating (which the system hasn’t been able to execute on 3 efforts) . But the Play 1 and 3 speakers connect fine.I am thinking I need to reconfigure this system. Would like to do the following using the Sonos 2 app:keep the Play 1 and 3 speakersadd some Sonos in wall speakersremove the receiver set up.to do this to I get rid of the Connect and Bridge? How do I clean this up and have one
I’ve been playing around trying to diagnose a weird issue with my Roam. About 6-9 months ago, I started randomly getting issue with the Roam going into deep sleep mode and not waking up with the app or using a magic packet for Wake-on-LAN. I’ve been playing around with a few things and it seems to be related to the charge state. I keep my Roam in the bathroom most of the time and charge it from a USB power bank every few days. I’ve noticed that when the Roam has been charged from the power bank, it no longer responds through the app. I believe there is an ‘on-charge’ state flag being set that gets confused when the power bank goes to sleep after it’s completed its charge. This wasn’t an issue for the first two years I owned the device, so I believe it’s been introduced in a recent firmware. I’ve checked both the app and firmware for my device and I’m up to date. When the Roam is attached to the wall, it wakes up as expected, or if I disconnect from the power bank while it is on, it wak
Questions about what the Loudness option (EQ-settings) does has been answered: But I have not found information on at which (low) level Loudness kicks in, if it kicks in gradually and if it happens at the same (graphical) position for all devices or if it varies. Also if it’s identical to the two apps “Sonos” and “Sonos S1”.In the case of speakerless players like Port and ZP90 this will affect how to balance the Sonos level to the chosen speaker/amplifier level. So “Low” actually is low. It’s also nice to know in general.

As a long-time Sonos customer, I want to add my voice to the growing list of users frustrated by the continued lack of Qobuz Connect support.I chose Qobuz specifically for its search depth, curation, and full-catalogue browsing experience — features that are significantly limited when forced to browse through the Sonos app instead of the native Qobuz app. Being an Android user, I don't even have the AirPlay 2 workaround available to iOS/Mac users, so I'm currently stuck with no good way to use the service I pay for on the hardware I paid for. This isn't a niche request: Qobuz has offered hi-res streaming on Sonos for years, and Sonos already supports Connect for other partners. The 2024 app update reportedly broke Qobuz integration for months, and two years of community threads on this exact topic have produced no timeline, no update, and seemingly no accountability from either side about who is blocking progress. As a paying customer of a premium multi-room audio ecosystem, I expect Son
Tidal suddenly stopped connecting to Sonos on me. It was working perfectly a couple of hours ago. What's happening:I'd left a playlist on repeat before heading out, expecting to come home to music still playing. Instead, playback had stopped — so whatever broke, it broke while the music was actively playing, not from some idle timeout. Now, trying to reauthorize Tidal in the Sonos app gives me a network error. I removed the Tidal service entirely and tried to re-add it — same network error, on two separate devices (phone and computer). What I've already ruled out:Not a Tidal account/subscription issue — Tidal works fine everywhere else: streaming through Chrome, no problem, and works perfectly through Tidal in my car. Not a general network issue — other services like TuneIn are working fine on Sonos, no changes made to my router or network setup before this started. So it really looks like it's the Sonos↔Tidal connection itself that's broken, not my account or my network. Anyone else hitt
I wanted to share some feedback regarding the speaker selector and grouping panel in the app. I am using the latest version of the Sonos app on iOS (88.1.9).If you look at the screenshots attached below, I’ve highlighted the device pictures on the left side of the room list. Tapping on any of these speaker icons acts as a shortcut that immediately opens the settings menu for that specific device. This has a couple of friction points: Lack of visual indicators: There is no UI cue (like a gear icon) to suggest these images are interactive touch targets that lead to a completely different menu. Accidental navigation: Because these icons sit directly next to the main room selection area, it's very easy to misclick and be taken into the Settings panel. And then backing out of this Settings panel puts me back on the Home Screen, rather than returning to where I was on the speaker selection panel. So when I'm trying start playback on a speaker, or group rooms, a slight mis-tap instantly pull

Does the Sonos Play portable speaker have a battery bypass or management system, if I leave it on the stand for a loooooong time does it bypass the battery after the battery is charged?
A Sonos problem has cropped up today that I need your assistance with. My music files are stored on a Synology NAS and at present Sonos (as operated from both my Imac and my Iphone) has lost some of its contact with the NAS. I can play NAS-contained files that are already in one of my playlists (by accessing the playlist and adding to the queue), but I can't scroll through my whole Music Library collection -- if I try to do this (Music Library -> click on Artists, Genres, Albums, etc.) , I get "No selections are available". Also, in displaying a listing for a file (via the above-mentioned playlist method) instead of displaying the stored metadata title of the file, it displays the filename-plus-extension. Any assistance with these problems will be much appreciated! -- Alan Rosenthal (Sonos user since 2005)

HiWhen I first got my play 1 with voice control, I set it to Google Assistant. I became an issue as other devises went off when I said, hey google. So I changed it to Alexa. A few years ago alexa disappeared, and it went back to google. My local radio station n NSW Australia is 102.9 Triple M. I said, play 102.9. The usual happened but the music was different, so was the first ad. It was about buying items illegal here. I opened up the app and found I was listening to 102.9 The Whale from Connecticut. It was just by luck and Its a great station. Their Friday and Saturday nights are my mornings. So rock all day. Anyway after a system update, I lost being able to stream it through my system. It is in my list of stations on my Tunein. I recently had a issue with my system that had to be sorted over the phone with a level 2 expert. All sorted, but he to could not get the station to play. The station is also called WDRC-FM. Any thoughts on why it cant be played? Cheers
I disconnected my cable box and now my tv won’t see the arc hdmi connection. Please help! I called and discounted everything multiple times no luck
