Just unboxed my new ACE Ultra. Already they are so much better than the OG ones and I have not even played anything on them yet as they are just updating in the App. They are much more comfy on my ears as I am a glasses wearer and the colour is just lovely. They have a more premium feel too. I will update more once I start to use them.

Oh and the zip on the case is much improved!

Are you able to get the software to update? I keep getting an error message despite the bluetooth being connected

It was a bit of a pain. It started and got to the finishing off screen then said it failed. I rebooted my mobile phone and then it finished and was ok. Try restarting your phone. Mine is all good now and I am currently streaming music via WiFi on the App!

Tested both starting music from the App and using sound swap from a compatible speaker. Both work well.

Just one thing to be aware of which is probably obvious - if you turn ACE Ultra off then of course, your music queue in the App will be lost as the BT connection will disconnect too. So that’s of course, a difference from it being a ‘proper’ room in the App even though when connected, it looks just like any other room.

I will test with my Bean Gen 2 later on this evening 😁 - I am sure that will work as well as my previous ACE headphones worked.

I do also really like the advanced EQ!

It’s subtle, but I think that the noise cancellation is more effective.
