ive followed the instructions to the Tthey were very intricate until it gets to the network credentials, i dont remember setting them up and ive tried my username and password (login) that doesnt work, and your instructions doent say anywhere how to find this nighmare Edit:ive done everything the directions say and it does NOT work. cant find support would love if anyone can Moderator Edit - Combined posts.

I have 2 speakers: a Roam 2 and a Roam SL.I successfully added both of them, only to notice that they were set up as 2 different systems. I factory reset my Roam SL, but when trying to add my Roam SL to the same system as my Roam 2, it tells me that I need to update the app, and when I click on the “Update Sonos App” button, it brings me to my browser to a page to update the Beta Controller App.I was a beta tester for the Roam 2 speaker, but I changed phone since then (from Galaxy S22 to a Pixel 9) in case it’s relevant.Could uninstalling the app, and re-install it fix the problem?

I have inadvertently duplicated the name of the same device on my system. How do I remove one name?

I recieved a Sonos email inviting me to ‘hear more with lossless on Apple Music’ by connecting my Apple Music app to Sonos.  I then clicked  on a  ‘LEARN MORE’ button which linked me to a page that says you can listen to both the Apple Music universe of music plus your own ‘entire library’. I followed the instructions to then connect Apple Music witrh Sonos but kept coming up with message saying ‘your Apple Music account access has expired’. It then asked me to re-authorise. Many problems with music library. Navigation is difficult without being able to see the alphabet at the side.Not possible to create playlists. Tidal playlists work but the beauty is being able to link other sources in a playlist.The things that made Sonos good are gone.  

In Sonos if I search for albums by a band, for example the band Yes, only one album, Fragile appears.  If I do it in Spotify all of yes’ albums show up. Same issue on iPhone and iPad.  any thoughts on how this basic feature should just work? thank you 

I upgraded my iPhone 16 pro max to 18.2 and since then my Sonos app only works spasmodically. I have left my iPad on 18.1 and works ok with no issues. I upgraded my wife’s iPhone to 18.2 with same results.  Works ok if I access Sonos speakers through Spotify app or Sonos windows up. Tried everything to no avail. I notice that the app logs me out of the Sonos servers occasionally. Sonos do not help when they continually say they do not have problems, but as stated before no problems with iOS 18.1 don’t they test Sonos against a new version of iOS? 

I have an iPhone 12 running iOS 18.1.1, and after months of seriously bad functionality (since the “new app” was released), now all my devices have disappeared from the app, even the one plugged directly into ethernet. On my Mac OS, I can see all the devices, and the Sonos app works perfectly. After following all the usual recommendations, I deleted and re-installed the Sonos app on my phone, and now it cannot even find my Sonos system (I cannot “join existing system”).I am currently using a “work around” by playing Spotify on my phone, and casting it to my Sonos speakers via AirPlay, but the Sonos app itself cannot see the same speakers that I can cast to.So what I have done is:-clicked “forget” on my wifi connection, and re-joined it by re-entering the password multiple times-re-installed the Sonos app multiple times-restarted my phone multiple times-restarted my router multiple times-rebooted one of my Play 5 speakers and re-set up

So you CAN update your music library!  Just not with Sonos…  But you can do it with SonosPhone!  For a nominal fee of less than $10,you can have an app that will easily and quickly update your music library.

Can anyone help me play music using the Sonos app?Let me first state this is not a rant post about app. I also have not had many of the app issues many have experienced. I’ve had Sonos for more than 6 years and never had issues (outside the well known/admitted by Sonos ones). I use the Sonos app to control all playback. Occasionally, I’ll use Airplay, and have been to help deal with this bug. The issue started with the latest app update, and basically will not let me play music from any source in the Sonos app. Sonos, Spotify, Apple Music, any service. Conversely, my wife has not updated the app to the latest, and her phone (using my account) works fine to play any service to all speakers, as mine did before the update. I’ve tried all means of sign in/out of accounts, reset passwords, uninstalled and reinstalled apps. Real-authorized the permissions for services, updated my Sonos account password just to reset and force login. Nothing

We’re an FM radio station in Los Angeles (USA) with a known good stream on TuneIn, as well as other platforms. We are not equipped with a Sonos device, but several listeners to the station are and they report that they’re no loner able to listen via Sonos. Can anyone in The Community check with your Sonos device then report your experience?88.5 FM / The SoCal Sound / KCSN   

So this is partly a question, but also a report. I am relatively new to Sonos and I hadn’t experienced any of the issues that have plagued others since the new app came out, until now. The TL;DR is:Sonos speakers all disconnected from Unifi AP when channels were changed. I was eventually able to reconnect them, but received frequent false reports of an incorrect Wi-Fi password. Another channel change disconnected devices again. An Era 100 did not reconnect. Nothing I tried would get it to reconnect until I set a shorter Wi-Fi password.The long version:I recently switched to Unifi and set up my network based on recommendations for Sonos, even though none of my devices can use SonosNet. Hi everyone! Just a question: does Apple Music stream in lossless only when using the Sonos app, or does it also support lossless when streaming via AirPlay from the Apple Music app on iOS? thanks in advance!

Hi all, I’ve recently been dabbling with playing local FLAC files stored on a Synology NAS. I can add them to the Sonos App without a hitch, but have found that I can only get my older Symfonisk speakers to play. Newer ERA speakers give a “content is unavailable” error. I can group the Era speakers with the other speakers and they play fine. Also no problem with any of my streaming services. App works well apart from that with no lag. All speakers on wifi.  

Any body else frustrated by the slow loading time for the latest Sonos app? Seems to take as about 90+ seconds on my Android phone. I have tried all the suggested fixes.

 I’ve had my Sonos system for over ten years and it’s been a bumpy ride. Glitchy software has occasionally caused problems (and usually when I’d done nothing to change my system.) Today, after updating my operating system, Sonos stopped working again. I’m on a Mac, and updated to OS 15.2.  Sonos wasn’t able to access my music. I did a chat with tech-support which took 20 minutes, and then was told that I needed to do a phone session with remote access to my computer. I then spent more than 2 hours on the phone with your tech support and the guy clearly was out of his depth. Kept moving windows around my desktop and it was obvious that he wasn’t familiar with Mac operating systems. Also, he kept doing the same thing and expecting different results.  He escalated the issue to the level two tech-support people and after another 20 minutes, came back and said that there is no fix. My Spotify app can see all my Sonos devices that are on the same network, however when I select them to stream it doesn’t connect. My wife has no issues streaming on the same network with the same devices. I am attempting streaming from Spotify app on MacBook and iPhone 14. I have reinstalled Spotify app on phone and MacBook. Airplay works fine to Sonos devices, but it has a delay and takes more effort. I have restarted my phone/MacBook, Sonos devices, and router. Everything is up to date. I have Sonos one, beam, and Arc and none of them work. 

Any chance of bringing remote manageability to the Sonos Web App? Very specific, checking for and running system updates… I can already access and see the system, its components and what’s going on. Having the ability to check and trigger updates would be ideal!

It doesn't work starting streaming swedish radio today.

I used to be able to listen to podcast via spotify connect (aka direct control in sonos lingo) on my s2 system. Since about 3 months every time i choose one of my speakers in the Spotify app - spotify tries to connect for about 1 minute and then reverts back to playing from the phone.Streaming music from spotify connect works fine.I have not changed anything in my setup and i have the latest versions of Spotify and Sonos. What can be wrong?

Hello everybody,Since the new app deployment in may, i had to wait several monthes to be able just to see my playlits in the app.Now i can see and play them but, several monthes after, and despite “hundred of engineers working to improve the this app” (dixit director of innovation) i still can not modify them !Sonos help seems to avoid dealing with that.My app is IOs app.Do some of you find a way to add/suppress titles in playslists ?Thanks for help.Emmanuel.

I'm trying to sign up for sonos radio hd but I get an error saying I don't have an eligible product attached to my account. I have a bunch of ERA 100s. Are these not eligible? If not, what is? Thanks

Why does the Amazon playlist not display? I switched from Spotify which showed the playlist and allowed you to start on any song, and only played the playlist in entirety. Amazon displays nothing, chooses where it starts and plays its own choices when it gets to the end of the playlist…..any suggestions? Thanks
