Since the May 2024 updates of the android application & still currently (80.17.09 02/2025 ) 
- loss of queue list management
- Difficulty displaying large playlists 
- impossible to manage libraries
- intolerable latencies in commands ( 10 second wait to increase sound or pause )

This is not related to the infrastructure of my home, I do not reproduce these symptoms on the S2 application installed on my PC on the same wifi network.

What can I do to restore these functions? 

Two options:

  • wait for Sonos to fix their 💩
  • upgrade speaker firmware to s1.

There was an app update made available this week. I recommend that you install it and any software updates available for your speakers.

It addresses some of the issues you have listed.

- loss of queue list management

Playlist creation and editing has returned!

- Difficulty displaying large playlists 

Sonos and Music Service Playlists are now displaying correctly (Larger Music Library imported playlists are not currently loading, but this is being investigated)

- impossible to manage libraries

This returned to the Mobile app quite some time ago.

- intolerable latencies in commands ( 10 second wait to increase sound or pause )

We have done work to improve on this.
