Hi,

Problem: when I do a research for a song I only have access to playlists, not individual songs.

I'm logged as admin.

Thanks

Hi @Romulus1985

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear of this issue you are having with only being able to find playlists in your searches!

Could you let me know which music service(s) you have installed on your Sonos system, please, and which specific search terms you were using? If you could also include a screenshot of your search results, that would be very handy. I’d like to see if I can replicate your results.

You may find that removing the music service and adding it back on again will help:

Remove a music service account from Sonos

Add a music service to Sonos

I hope this helps.

Hi,

I removed every service and reinstalled Spotify and it still doesn't work. If I use instead the app of Spotify it works. So the problem is with thé sonos app.

Hi @Romulus1985

Are you using the free tier of Spotify? The free tier does not let you play specific tracks, so this would be expected behaviour in this instance.

To play specific tracks (and have them show in searches) requires a paid-for Spotify account. This is the way of things for most music services (or certainly the more common ones that I am familiar with), including in their native apps.

I hope this helps.

Yes i'm using the free one. But how come I can play a specific song with the Spotify app and not with the sonos one ? I can even command sonos from Spotify. I will use this app instead in this case.

I think I found the reason. I have a temporary premium account on Spotify and it seems to bé working only on it and not on sonos.

This sounds quite likely to be it, yes.
