Hello, I can play search and play Spotify, but everything is greyed out on saved Playlists and Albums I have been using Sonos for the last 6 years with Spotify and now i have changed my Spotify to Family. Now everything is greyed out for my playlists and saved albums, but i can still play songs outside of those sections! Any idea what is going on? Thanks!

I'm attempting to add my iTunes library to Sonos using my Mac. (Following instructions here: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/257 However, it seems like I've run into a snag stemming from how MacOS / iTunes manage the iTunes library and corresponding files. A little about my setup.     audio files stored on an external drive.     i have ~12,400 items in my iTunes library     iTunes Music Library.xml and Music Library files are stored on the drive on which MacOS / iTunes runs Regardless of what import method I use (letting Sonos detect the library, or manually pointing to a location) nothing really gets imported / indexed. What's odd is that Sonos seems to spend a large amount of time running the index but nothing is available via the app once it's complete. (Auto-Detect) My Music Method - Sonos imports playlists, but no audio is playable. Additionally, the playlist entries are all duplicated. The automatic indexing seems to run for quite some time but nothing ever becomes available

I have two separate Sonos systems in two separate houses. Everything has been working fine with Spotify but as of last week the service has deteriorated. When I select songs or playlists on Spotify via Sonos it jumps a random number of songs before being able to play one and then it tries to play 3 or 4 other songs but ends up jumping forward again and most of the time it just stops playing and says that it could not find the object on Spotify.  My Spotify account works fine by itself but not well through Sonos. I have different internet service providers in the two houses so it has nothing to do with that either. Other services like TuneIn radio works fine so this is only with regards to Spotify.

I am unable to get to iTunes via my phone nor am I able to connect to my existing system via mac. Help please!

Hi, I have followed the instructions here: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/321?language=en_US to access podcasts downloaded from the android app Podcast Republic on my OnePlus 3, but the Podcasts are not appearing in the SONOS app. In fact, the Podcast folder is not consistently appearing at all (it seems to depend on whether there is anything in the Music folder for some reason, but is not deterministic). The podcast files are present in what the File manager app calls “STORAGE>Internal storage>Podcasts” and the Android file manager calls “OnePlus 3>Podcasts” and can be played from there. I can’t see how their permissions are set. This is persistent across restart of the various apps and reboot, and none of the previous threads on this subject contained solutions to my problem. Any ideas?

Hi everybody, i use Apple Music and i can’t view the songs of any Sonos playlist on Apple Music, only the playlist title. Why?

I have read many posts on this topic and still have no clear answer or solution. I have a QNAP NAS and am running a Windows 10 PC. I currently have a USB drive attached directly to my Modem/Router and that is discovered and used by Sonos. I can add a Folder from my PC successfully but I WANT to add a folder from my NAS. When I attempt to do so, an error message telling me that I need to update my registry appears. I have read the linked Microsoft article and performed the Registry Update and rebooted - no success. I have turned off my Firewall - no success. Like everybody else I have no SMBv1 running - is this or is this not the issue? Sonos seem to be saying (?) that they no longer rely on SMB? I am frankly lost trying to keep track of whether it is or isn’t so. Having read extensively about this issue it seems to have been a topic for over 3 years. Is there a specific solution for this as if there is I haven’t been able to track it down? A solution would be gratefully accepted. Obvio

Youtube Music works well enough on Sonos, music quality streams just fine and I get you can’t thumbs up or thumbs down but the biggest holdup I’m having is that it won’t access the correct music library.   My friend pays for a google family account and shares premium services to my account. I cannot find out how to get the premium services to carry over to Sonos.   I used youtube music for a while then decided to subscribe to the premium service. It is fantastic and has become the only thing I use for listening to music. Sonos however will only access liked songs from my account previous to the subscription to premium services. I have to manually prompt it to play every song, this defeats the purpose of Sonos. I could just use a bluetooth speaker and be done with it but I like the potential of Sonos and want to use it more in the future.   If I cannot solve this issue I will let go of all my Sonos products and find something else.

I’ve recently switched from Spotify to Amazon Music and my Sonos speakers keep cutting in and out when trying to play Amazon Music. I don’t have any problem when I’m playing just on my phone. I never had this problem with Spotify and don’t have it with the TuneIn radio stations.

I have been using my Pandora account with Sonos for over 2 years. This past week, Sonos told me I needed to reauthorize my Pandora account.  I tried and when I hit “reauthorize,” it did nothing.  I have deleted Pandora from Sonos, I have deleted and re-downloaded my Pandora app from my device- the app is working fine btw, I have deleted and re-downloaded my Sonos app from my device- so yes, it’s up to date, I have signed out of Sonos and back in, I have checked to make sure I have my country registered correctly, I have done all updates to my device and and turned it back off and on… It still will not let me authorize my Pandora account.  The authorize button literally does nothing when I hit it.  Spotify still works, but I don't have their premium service to avoid commercials, and I was able to add my Apple Music account without issue- the stations don't work well for my business with Apple Music though.  Why is Pandora the only thing not working? What am I missing here?

We recently had to return our One’s to factory setting after we changed our router and couldn’t re-connect. All is now working, except that Alexa announces a requested song playing from Amazon Music, but then silence. I’ve searched answers on here and tried disconnecting Sonos on the Alexa app and vice versa, then re-connecting but the same thing happens. I’ve checked my Amazon account and Music is there. I can’t think what else to do to solve this.

My SONOS system works great with Amazon Music and Sirius. However, when I switch to my NAS server to play recorded music there is a real “in and out” problem with the music. The connection throughout the SONOS speaker system in the house is not good.  Does the NAS server need to be hard wired into the Boost in order for the NAS server to transmit the music throughout the SONOS speakers system?

I just setup my Sonos 1 second edition. When I try to use Amazon music I get an error 701 cant load Queue or if I try to play a station it says can’t play. I have reauthorized my amazon account I have reset me Sonos and my router and nothing works. I can get Spotify to work I have setup Alexa and can get her to play music but nothing works through the Sonos app. 

Hi, I have a Youtube Premium account and have linked Youtube Music up with my Sonos app. However, there are certain songs/ artists that will not play through my Sonos speakers via Youtube Music. For example Coldplay songs will play fine however, if I select a song by the Artist Daniel Ferri for example and press play nothing will happen - no error message either which is kind of frustrating. Please can someone help?   Thanks in advance. Graham

I have the Sonos Amp (not the black one, the older one) and Spotify Connect does not show the speaker when connected via WiFi. If the Amp is wired to the network it shows up.   How do I fix this? I want to use WiFi.

Hi, I have been using Spotify on my various sonos devices for a couple of years with no issue. through the Sonos App and via spotify connect. Over the last couple of days, I haven’t been able to play spotify on any of my Sonos devices, via the Sonos app or Spotify connect. When I try through the sonos app, it says spotify is currently unavailable. I’ve tried restarting my router, restarting all of the devices and also updating the Spotify app, sonos app, and then removed spotify from Sonos, but now I can't add it back as a service. I am getting the below error message: (500) Sorry we are unable to set up your Spotify account at this time.   Very frustrating… Has anyone else experienced this?

I have been unable to stream Primephonic for the last 2 days, whenever I try to play a track I get the message the connection to Primephonic was lost. I have tried closing and re=opening the app as well as rebooting my iPad but it doesn’t matter what track I select, I get the same error message. I can open Primephonic on their native app but not through Sonos. Is this a general outage?

When I try to sign in it has another users Account info in the settings area.  I changed my password already but it continues to show the other users account and I can’t use my credentials.  Please help.   

Playing spotify through sonos and it keeps pausing?  Any tips appreciated.

I am having a serious problem in the AMP's aux analog input line. There is a delay of about 2 seconds between input and output. Two months ago I opened a report for this problem, and after a very long discussion that even resulted in legal action, Sonos changed the AMP to solve the problem. Today I got a new AMP that has the same problem. I have seen in the Sonos forum that there are others who have the same case. Sonos replies that the amplifier was not designed for that input line! So what is the aux line for? How come replacing it has been resolved? How come the other AMPs in my house work? I think the weak side of Sonos is proving ……  

Hi Guys,  Really hoping you can help. I have a Panasonic TV, plugging my Play5 through the 3.5 jack from headphone jack in TV to the back of the Sonos and have a delay. I have tried uncompressed fix and no love.   I want to get a sync sound from the TV to the Sonos as I have 20 people coming round to watch the boxing on Sunday haha. HELP. Thanks so much in advance. 

Diagnostic Confirmation Number : 1588174401 This happens pretty frequently everyday. About every 10 minutes. Songs will continue to play, but users will have the Sonos window brought to the front of their desktops with the error message populating. Best,

Hi. I know this is not a Sonos issue as such but I want to know if anyone else has this problem.   When I am playing an audiobook with the Audible app and want to have it play on a Sonos speaker I see a list of devices but no device name.   If I put my finger on the picture of the speaker the name appears for a moment and it does select the device to play on but I am working blind from the list. I have this problem on both android pixel 3a phones I own. Everything else works fine..Spotify and the Sonos App find the speakers and names with no problems and I can play Audible via the Sonos app.  I asked Audible support and they did not understand the issue. Is anyone else having this problem?    

I used to keep all of my sonos system playing Classic FM radio station from London during the day. This was through Tune In. Sonos seems to have dropped this service. I was able to find some alternate classic fm stations through global player (although still not the live stream), for a couple of months. Now even these are no longer playing. Global player is still listed as one of my available services though nothing on it will come up in any searches and now no stations on it will play. 

Hi there. I don’t know if it is an isolated problem or a global one. Qobuz cover art for playlists never showed in Sonos. I thought it was a problem related to Qobuz. Tidal cover art for playlists was always showing up until recently. Now (maybe after an update I cannot be sure about this) when navigating Tidal playlists in Sonos, there is no more cover art showing. This is very annoying for the navigation experience. Can you please fix this or help me if my problem is not common? On the other hand, there is no problem with album cover art for both Qobuz and Tidal. Missing images only relate to playlists.  The issue is on all platforms (iOS, Android, Windows). Below screen shots for iOS.
