Controllers and Music services

The Pocketcasts Sonos service frequently does not work for me.  My Sonos queue has a long list of podcasts, almost all of them from Pocketcasts, and today none of those Pocketcasts items play.  I tried reauthorizing the Sonos service.  Also deleted and re-added the service.  No change in the (mis)behavior.When I log on directly to Pocketcasts on their web site, I can play my podcasts without problems.  Podcasts in my Sonos queue that are *not* from Pocketcasts play as expected.I see problems like this way more often than I’d like.  Is there any way to fix the current problem?  Any way to reduce the odds that it happens again?    

I just got a Sonos Arc and sub. I like using them with Spotify on my iPhone. Is there any way to make my Spotify and/or my iPhone default to the Arc as the audio output, rather than having to specify it in Spotify each time I use it? Thanks!

Is anyone having an issue where pocket casts will play some shows perfectly but will fail to load others?  I have had the problem all week and it is driving me crazy?

I updated which server my music is stored on and while Sonos and Plex can find the library, the Sonos Controller can't find the Plex library. There has been no network changes other than removing an out of date Netgear Nas. Any thoughts?

Although I can play HD or ultraHD content natively through the amazon music app, and I understand if I play amazon music through the S2 app I should see a badge for songs that are in HD or ultraHD quality, I don’t see the badge. To be precise, the HD badge shows for a split second then disappears. I am playing to an Arc + Sub (Gen 2) + 2xOneSL (surrounds). Any one have a solution?

In the S2 app on my iOS device (which has had no recent OS or app updates) my main room, with Beam Gen2 and two One SLs as surrounds, has disappeared. My other room is working fine. On both my work iOS device and wife’s Android device I can see the room and play music through it, likewise it is working fine as soundbar for my TV. I found older posts saying lost rooms could be WiFi/router related but that doesn’t make sense given that other devices are fine.I powered off the Beam and it showed up in the app as disconnected, so I would have to reset everything to get it added again. I can do this if absolutely necessary but it seems weird when I have two other devices which can see the room fine.I have rebooted my phone and deleted and reinstalled the app and it made no difference.Has anyone had similar experiences or have any advice other than to reconfigure? I’m happy to keep this broken for a while if it helps with troubleshooting as it’s still working fine with other devices.

Sorry, not sure how to explain this concisely, but my set up (Beam + Sub + 2 x Play:1’s) suddenly stopped working properly yesterday, and now appears as 3 separate entries within the ‘System’ part of the App (see image below)  I’ve tried rebooting my router (SKY) several times, and I’ve also switched each of the Sonos items off and on several times, but can’t get it to join back together.  It currently has the Beam + Sub together, but each of the Play:1’s as separate entries, and I can’t work out how to fix that. Help! 

Mac any OS version -When I change something on Sonos ...e.g., volume, then close the app, in a few seconds it pops back up on my screen. Would love if it NEVER happened again. 

I do enjoy the music options available with Sonos Radio HD. However, when I have this music feed running, the channels will get very loud for about 1 second at the end of each song. Is this something anyone else has encountered?  Thanks1x Arc , Sub, 2x One SL, (plus a Roam SL and a Port)

The past two weeks I have been (mostly) unable to use a radio channel as source for alarm in the morning (from the Danish national radio “DR LYD”, but also using the same channels from TuneIn). I thought of connection issues, although most of my speakers are wired, but even after connecting the affected zone directly to a switch the problem persists. Other zones using playlists as source (Apple Music) works fine on both wired and wireless zones.  I suspect that the stream will timeout and give me the chime so I would guess that the issue lies with the connection to the source as connection to the speakers looks solid (diagnostic 111600515) when looking at the connection matrix in the speaker diagnostic on its IP.  I can also see the trying to plays the source manually takes a while to start - maybe the alarm is less patient and cuts to chime faster?could someone from Sonos maybe check if the connection to “DR Lyd” has an issue or if the alarm feature is a tad to fast to call timeout?

Hello, I bought a Symfonisk from Ikea. Unfortunately, I can't play YouTube music in the Sonos app. I have a premium membership and it still says "No withdrawals available" or “Cannot browse music”.Don't know where the problem is?Thank youCatherine

Hi,I have an media library bigger than 65000 files. Sonos ist limited by 65000 files or faster by memory. Ist there a solution possible, perhaps a RaspberryPi media server? I think it is only possible by an supported service App for Sonos like SpotifyAny idea?TIA Dirk

We have set up Sonos for sound for our TV. Periodically the TV link in the “Streaming Services” page disappears. Tried restarting phone and see if that helps. Sometimes it restores the TV icon but not always. Anyone encounter this and how did you fix it? 

As titled. I know updates are necessary but they seems to only break things on the s1.

The Qobuz menu on my Sonos app is in French. How can I change it to English? The Qobuz app on my iPhone is in English and all other music apps on Sonos are in English. 

In the Sonos iOS/iPad OS apps, is there any way to jump from an explicit version of an album to the clean version, or vice versa?Often I will find the explicit version of an album — perhaps because I listened to it recently when my children were at school — but I would like to listen to the clean version once they’re home. As far as I can tell, there’s no way to jump from one to the other… is there? 

For shame, Sonos.For shame, Sonos.  How many years have you been leaking memory on macOS?  Do your developers not know about freeing allocated memory?  Any plans for making the controller not hoard memory on my machines?

2 Days ago I had NTS playing on my Sonos speakers, I needed to vacuum while it was on, and unplugged a speaker that was playing. I’ve done this before, and nothing unnormal happened. The other speakers continued playing. I’m not sure if this caused the problem or not. After trying to start any NTS stream afterwards, the Track information updates, but none of them will play. The error log shows the same error for every station ‘cannot connect to NTS Radio because the server cannot be found.’ The Stations are playing fine through the NTS website. All my other Sonos Services are still working just fine. Any idea how to fix this? My next troubleshooting step would be to reset my entire sonos system, which I’d like to not have to do.

I’m consistently getting connection issues when opening up sonos. It’s become extremely unreliable.Then in the time is does connect, it loses connection and I have to powered down all me speakers by removing the plugs.   

I am using the IOS app and this device will not go away even after a reset, router reboot and full power down.The wrench icon will only trigger a wizard to re-attach the device, nothng to actually delete it permanently. Is there some mysterious trick to getting this device to go away? It is not registered under my account (it was a house guests device, and they took it with them when they left.)

Dear Sir/MadamDue to a PowerPoint problem, the electrical supply to the house was shut off. As soon as the power is restored, all three rooms appear to be working in the Sonos App. I cannot get it to play anything until I try to play something. Tune In does not have any radio programs. My Tidal streaming account was used to listen to music. Once again, nothing. I need your help
