Controllers and Music services

When I open the app on my iPhone sometimes it only shows one of my roams saying the other is powered off.  But it doesn’t show the other speakers, arc. woofer, 2 rear and 2 move.  Sometimes they’re there, sometimes not. I spent over an hour on chatting the other day, so long that my phone needed charging. It was working but a few hours later it isn’t. The tech wastes your time plugging and unplugging and reregistering and other nonsense.  But a day later the problem is back. The speakers come and go.  I can play music on the Roku tv which uses the arc, sub and back speakers but on the phone they’re not there.  It is getting to the point where I have to admit that I wasted almost 3 thousand dollars on a system that is unreliable and sonos can’t fix it.  Unplugging some of the speakers, which the tech makes you do, are behind heavy couches. Hello, I’m French.I've just bought a new SAMSUNG A23 5G phone. I downloaded the SONOS S2 application from the Play Store.  I click on "Add to an existing system". It tells me: "Connect this mobile device to the Wi-FI network to continue." OK....and nothing happens. But I'm connected to WIFI.How do I proceed?Thanks for your answer. 

Hi, I added a stream that I wanted to listen to through TuneIn My Radio Stations, then added it to My Sonos.But I got the URL wrong. I went back into TuneIn to delete the station, which I did BUT I failed to check “delete from My Sonos” also. It’s disappeared from TuneIn but is still sitting in My Sonos. When I try to delete it from My Sonos, the operation fails, with an error message, “unable to remove station from my radio stations”.I tried adding it back to TuneIn, but that didn’t help.Any suggestions for how to remove this from MySonos?Thanks!

Recently moved, brought my Gen 1 play 5's but forgot my connect. What else will run the 5's? Gen 1 Beam ? Don't want to buy another connect as I have 2 and the Amp on the other side of the country. I use tidal for music.ThanksSteve

System: Arc, 2 beams (Gen2)on additional TVs, 2 ERA 300, 2 ERA 100, Play 1, Sub (Gen2)Volume blast for a second or two, Sonos System goes dead then restarts in 30-45 seconds at set volume. Scares the * out of any listeners. Any suggestions?Thank you  

I can’t tell when I’m searching for artist if I’m searching in Spotify or something else. Many of my searches come up with nothing

Good morning.I have an amp that I connect my cell phone to.If I listen to Spotify (having a subscription) on my mobile phone I don't have any type of advertising that interrupts my listening.instead if I connect it to the amp advertising takes place.does anyone know why?Thank you

I spent quite some quite creating a large holiday music playlist a few years ago (probably before the switch from SONOS 1 to SONOS 2? not sure...); that list still appears - and I can ‘see’ all names / tracks that are part of the list.However, when trying to play the tracks, I get the above message ‘the associated account was not found on your system’ !?So - not sure what’s going on here.1 - I have never created / used more than ONE SONOS account (so the message, at face value, does not make any logical sense? - The playlist CAN ONLY BE ASSOCIATED with the same account I am using now - and:2 - again, I really don’t know enough about the technical background here - but - if I can ‘see’ each and everyone of these tracks, albeit with a funny struck through circle in front of it, then I assume that the associated info (i.e. source of the track / album etc.), so the coordinates for SONOS to find the track, are still there.  Isn’t that what makes up a playlist?  I mean - the playlist itself

The Sonos XM Sirius goes to the US website and doesn't recognize my Canadian login. So I can’t reauthorize. Sonos changed something because I’ve been using Sirius XM Canada for years/ Is there a work around or fix?

When playing music using the Plex app on my TV it sounds terrible -  almost as if I'm only hearing one channel and the system isn't sending any signal to the rear surround speakers.The TV is brand new ULED Samsung.In the 'About my System' section:When its working properly from the Sonos app on my phone it says nothing regarding audio in. .When playing from the problematic Plex TV app it says it's Dolby digital 2.0I have a sonos beam and 2 x play ones (all gen2)The audio is fine if played from Plex in the Sonos app from my phone.

Is there any plan to include my personal library in the new search? I have a large library, including music not on streaming services. I bought Sonos specifically because it can manage music on my NAS in the old search. I’d like to see that feature supported in future software versions.

I have a playbar, sub, 2x play1 and 2x roam. For some reason I can’t get the playbar to group play with anything anymore. please help

I listen to the show over iHeart 6 days a week, and beginning with the first commercial break, Sonos seems to be hijacking the stream to play it’s own commercials over the iHeart stream.  I can listen to the same stream on my phone and hear the actual iHeart stream, while the Sonos controller is running the same obnoxious commercial set every time.  Worse, the Sonos commercials play longer than the iHeart set, so when I finally stop & restart the stream on Sonos, I’ve missed portions of the show.  So I have gotten in the most annoying routine of constantly stopping and restarting.  Most often, a new song will play, which is better than the same horrible commercial for the thousandth time, but that song or the next also end up playing over the actual show stream.  Playing from phone and AirPlaying to Sonos works through the first commercial break, but at the second, Sonos hijacks it again.  I could regretfully live with the hijacked commercials IF they would stop in line with the ac

Have been running seven Sonos zones using older hardware and S1 controller on iPhone and iMac with no problems. Upgraded to MacBook Pro macOS Ventura. Mac-version S1 controller hangs and won’t boot. PC-version S1 Controller (running under Windows 11 on Parallels) boots, but won’t recognize any Sonos devices. Might be incompatible port configuration. Very frustrating. Any ideas?

After performing an update to the Sonos app there are no music services available to add, so no music available to play. Before the update the app was connected to my apple music account.I have uninstalled and re-installed the app and have the same issue on other devices. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

Spotify is skipping thru songs. Crossfade is off.Not happy with Sonos or Spotify.

Hi I am having problem to log to my app account with Android,( pixel 7 )  ..I tried all restarted app  and reinstall app restarted my WiFi router and I even disconnected my speaker Symfonik IKEA . I don't have VPN on my phone.  

Is anyone having an issue getting the Sirius channel listings to display? For a while now I get ‘Something went wrong. Please try again.’ Been that way for a week at least. All S1 apps on all devices are updated and it is still happening, including on Windows and Mac desktop controllers.

 have a Play 1 in my bathroom, a playbar + amp in my living room, and a pair of One’s in my kitchen.  If I start music via Alexa on the one’s in my kitchen and then go to the app to play that music on the other speakers the song will start over from the beginning and there’s no sound on the playbar. If I go through the app to start music and pair the rooms it works fine. I’ve also noticed recently if they are all grouped and playing and I ask Alexa to adjust the volume it only changes the volume in the kitchen. This all started a few months ago and I’ve struck out with Sonos support. Thought someone on here might have some useful advice. Sonos app is 15.10 Sonos OS S2.

I think this issue has been raised before but I have not seen any reliable answers so I will try againFor quite some time now (2 or 3 years, maybe longer?) the Sonos Update Music Library Now function does not update the new songs I have added to existing Apple Music playlists on my MacBook (so music is stored locally on my MacBook Hard Drive and this is the library I use for Sonos) For example.  I have a playlist in my Apple Music app on my MacBook called Good Music with 100 songs.  I can access it in Sonos via Music Library > Imported Playlists and play the songs.  If I add a new song to it in Apple Music…the playlist now has 101 songs.  But if I run the Update Music Library Now function after Sonos is finished indexing the Good Music imported playlist still only has 100 songs.I have gotten around this problem by every so often creating a new playlist with a date...e.g. Good Music 2023-04-03.  Then, when I run Update Music Library Now Sonos finds this new playlist with 101 songs. 

My MacBook needs to be open before i can play my music. I am selling my MacBook. is it possible to transfer everything (including my music library) to my iPad.
