Controllers and Music services

I have 4 zones with connect amps, all daisy chained together via their network ports, and connected directly to the router’s network port.  Everything worked fine pre “upgrade”.  Now all zones show connection to 4 different music services, with songs streaming - but no sound coming from any speakers in any zone.  Also don’t see any amp showing a connection to the network (wifi disabled due to ethernet direct connections).

I just got the beam gen 2. I created an account and I had to update my phone. When I try to log in I get a message saying the system owner must be logged in. Please log out and have the owner login. I am the owner. Also, if you use your Apple ID email, does the change the password? 

Listing my issues here from my iPhone, are: the new app cannot play my albums on Spotify, they do not appear on my phone anyway. alarms, timers, etc. and you know that already  cannot play a radio, says it cannot connectI am now bound to use the controller on my MacBook to play my Music. I read something about 3rd party controllers for iPhone so I may try that and abandon the Sonos controller for iPhone completely, if that is an option?  This is so utterly confusing, why guys, why, did you push this update through the throat of millions of users, ultimately being aware that your loyal users would be unhappy and scream? 

Hello , my question is I updated my Sonos app after I did that and getting my system working again with some trouble now when I turn my tv back on from being off it picks up my player bar no problem but now I have to manually turn on my play one speakers everytime , what is happening here and is there a fix that everything will work when I turn the tv back on without going thru a bunch of button pushing to get my total system to work , this didn’t happen till I updated my app

I have a new WiFi router.  Does Sonos plan on improving the app to where we can simply connect to the new router and have all our usual devices and services?   It seems a lot of people are having this same issue with the product(s) not being “registered” and therefore won’t play.  

I´ve just download the new app version and I can´t add songs to queue, does anyone have this problem? or the app doesn´t have that feature anymore?

Hello, The APPS asks me to lauch an update of the software.I click ok, and it asks me to log as “the owner of the system. I connect but it continues to ask me to connect as the owner of system who I am...and it runs in a loupHow can I solve this issue? (Sonos Thanks

Are song information and volume controls available again from my iPhone home screen? That feature was the most important one, and I am hoping it returns. Thanks!

BTW...I like the S2 refresh thus far. One feature in particular that’s almost ready for prime time. Let me explain…If there is a problem with a Sonos hardware update the app now shows you the Room Name and identifies the speaker that failed to update. Sweet!! There's one nit pick… even though it takes you to the correct room...It doesn’t tell you which speaker (left or right) regarding a stereo pair or surrounds. 😥Maybe that should be an additional feature request (add on to S2). Oh well...I guess one can’t have everything; or can they  🤔

Updated to the new app… Why do things just get worse.Song titles no longer shown in the albums, or whilst playing.At the very least I should be able to revert to the previous app version.not too happy

SONOS will not allow me to add a music service. Keeps telling me to sign out of my account and sign back in. I have done it repeatedly yet it will still not allow me to add a new music service. I’m trying to add Sirius XM which I just purchased. What’s the trick to being able to play XM over SONOS?

I am having multiple problems with the new app 1. From front screen when I select a live station to play - it takes me to another screen to press play rather than just playing (worse than original app) 2. The app is slow to load and spends time thinking before bringing up pictures, lists etc. (worse than original app) 3. When looking a track list in a YouTube music playlist, the same tracks keep repeating rather than showing all songs.  Terrible app

I updated my apple devices to the new app update today 5/7/24 and my Spotify playlists no longer all display. Before the update I could see all of my Spotify playlists but now they stop at “K”, the list is sorted alphabetically, so I can’t see any playlist that starts with letters A-J. It seems like Spotify now has a limit of total playlists which it didn’t have before. My playlists are searchable but when I go to my Spotify playlist screen it only displays playlist beginning with letters K-Z. Please help.I don’t have a lot of playlists either. Easily under 100, probably 50-75.Can I somehow just revert back to the previous app version?Looks like Spotify has a limit of 50 playlists in the new app design. I knew I shouldn’t have updated until I had to but I did anyway. Moderator edit: combined posts

Ever since downloading the new application, sounds goes in and out and works horribly. Anyone else dealing with this? What's the solution? Hold times are over 75 mins

The recent new app has caused my Sonos system not to link (connect) the the Wifi network created just for it. It keeps connecting to the house network Wifi A that is for other uses.  I have turned off Wifi A, and auto-connect, in hopes that Sonos would connect to WifI B.It appears I need to add the Wifi B to the Sonos network in the new app. How do I do that?Also, I’ve found that my Sonos Move1 will not connect.Forgive me, I’m not as tech-savvy as I once was, please give detailed 1, 2, 3, type instructions.Thank you for your assistance.   

Whenever Sonos has a system update, they require that the Controller on macOS be updated. They provide the apparent means (click on Update) but always fail to complete the update. There is no error code, it just fails to complete. Always. The app will not proceed to play music - it insists on the update.The way I have found to deal with this is to get Sonos tech support to send me a link to the updated .dmg (installation image). I suggest that Sonos make this readily available so I don’t have to reach out to tech support.If you follow Support-Update Issues, it recommends to uninstall and reinstall. But, it doesn’t provide a link for reinstalling.If you follow Support-S2, it tells you how to upgrade an S1 system to S2. That process starts with “Open the Sonos S1 Controller” for iOS or Android. 1) that reflects Sonos’ reliance on mobile apps (and negligence of desktop apps),  2) it is directions to update any devices you may still have on S1, 3) it does nothing for the desktop controller

No tv button in new app ios move between musik and tv on my new amp

Okay so alarms are back, great, but in my tests it plays the same damn song every time.  I have set a favourite playlist in Sonos using Apple Music and it’s set to shuffle. Alarm comes on at set time, but any ideas how do I stop it playing the same song, the 1st song in the playlist? It’ll be like ground hog day and I’m beginning to hate that song now!  my old alarms using Amazon music ‘tracks’are there but I can’t edit them now and they do pick a different song each time but if I try a new alarm with Amazon music with a favourite Sonos playlist added,the same thing happens as with Apple Music and the first song listed comes on. Who wants this from an alarm!!!? Can anyone help with getting a favourite Sonos playlist to pick a different song to come on and not the 1st song listed before I go insane?!

I have a new window 11 laptop how can I download the Sonos 1 controller. I can only download Sonos>=?
