I thought for one hot minute that the new app was great, as it allowed me to connect to and use my IKEA Symofisk Gen 1 speaker ( I have two - a Gen 1 and a Gen 2) that stopped working a while ago.
After HOURS with tech support and no resolution, the best they could offer me was a 25% discount on a new product. No sale, thank you very much.
So when I downloaded the new app on my phone and then got the old Gen 1 speaker working again, I thought this was great! Two weeks later, we’re back to the same crap. Speaker not detected, speaker won't connect to my wifi (which has not changed in months). Tired of this BS now.
I will not be buying another SONOS product. when the Gen 2 stops working, I’ll replace it with something else. Get your act together SONOS.
