Ever since the latest app update (May 2024) we cannot get any of our speakers across various rooms in the house (beam, arc, etc) to play their own audio source  without causing issues with other speakers in the house. With major troubleshooting efforts being tried over the last few weeks we are over it!!  For example to fix tv audio issues (please note all our speakers are set to tv autoplay and have never had any issues before this app update)  we’ve found ourselves turning off and then back on the tv in question to fix that room’s audio - only then to find that doing this kicks off any audio that was currently playing out of speakers in other rooms. For extra joy, when we try to get a 2nd tv audio back to functioning what we get is audio from the 1st room playing on the speaker in the 2nd room.  We have spent a ton of time troubleshooting since this app update and are so frustrated.  Right now we’re left with having to have only speaker in the house with its selected audio source pla

In previous versions of the Sonos app, the Sonos Systems Settings for the Arc, used to show the audio in settings (Stereo, Dolby Digital 5.1, etc).  In the new app this does not display.  Additionally, I occasionally get no audio out when I turn on the TV using my Apple TV remote. This also happens occasionally when I switch the streaming app on the Apple TV 4K from one service to another. To rectify the situation, I have to open settings in the Apple TV app, and change the temporary audio out settings to the Arc. 

Hello, Today may 14, the systeem checked for updates, so I did.And my music library disappeared. All settings are ok, file sharing is on, password is ok, but Sonos keeps saying acces is denied. Check the username and password. Yesterday I noticed the android app was updated too, and music library was not an option anymore.So what is going on and how can it be solved?

When doing the walking bit of tuning is it recommended to cover the whole room (mine is quite large), or is it better stay within the listening area?

Just updated to the new Sonos app and I know folks are having a lot of issues, but have folks noticed that within the “About my System” page, the “Audio in” option is blank even when audio is coming through? On the home page, when I select the window showing what is playing, it shows the type of audio (PCM 5.1, Dolby Atmos, etc.) so I know it is working, but any thought on what’s going on with the about my system page? also, on that same page, it is showing my Arc has “WM: Disconnected” even though it is physically connected via Ethernet and my sub and 2 Ones are connected via Sonos net. The arc did switch back to showing sonosnet randomly, but this seems odd. Never had any issues with the previous version as it was rock solid. It also showed WM:0 and then displaying the type of audio.  anyone else have this issue?

I have created Amazon Music playlists inside the Sonos app, is there a way to get them out of the Sonos app and into my Amazon Music app?  

Can anyone give me insight on why the change up on the application?  It was well organized, easy to navigate around:  I’m totally lost with the new change on the Sonos app with the black background.    

I noticed about a year ago this was happening for multiple people, but the topic was closed.  So -- it’s still happening for me.  I reauthorize SiriusXM and it seems to work for a day or two, but then fails again.  It’s not always the same channels either.   Any update on this? 

Before the dreadful app degradation, I streamed music via Spotify Connect through my Sonos speakers and controlled the volume from my iPhone or iPad. Since the degradation, I can no longer do this. Can anyone recommend a fix to this problem?

Was forced to update my app from S1 to S2 my whole system is missing from the app except my play 3. tried unplugging, replugging, nothing is popping back up on the S2 app.than tried using the S1 app but it won’t let me and keeps forcing me open the S2 app. anyone have a solve or experiencing this?

Like many the ability to access or even add my music library has vanished. I have read that Sonos know of this problem as it's a bug in the new app update. I've also read that they're going to fix it in mid June, this is just not good enough. It needs fixing now.

 Guys,  Hoping someone can help me out here — or at least validate that I’m not crazy. Since the update, my system either hasn’t worked AT ALL (app won’t recognize the system, play button just freezes) to being glitchy at best (must pair one speaker with others to eventually play the room you want). If a song DOES decide to play, a random one that wouldn’t play days ago plays afterward.  I’ve owned Sonos speakers for about 8 years, consider myself a pretty tech savvy guy, have never had a problem like this in the past, and already reset every speaker/the entire system. It seems like the problems Sonos is promising to eventually address are smaller than this scale… but what about people like me whose system just straight-up doesn’t work anymore? Am I alone here? I feel like I’ve invested thousands of dollars in paper weights all over my house!

I listen to a specific podcast thru Sonos everyday.  I (unfortunately) updated the Sonos app, and now am being told my podcast is ‘no longer available’.  Really???????????????  How can that be corrected? 

Today (29/5/2024)I am no longer able to get into the sinos app as it keeps asking to update a product I do not have or ever had. When I open the app I see the general screen for a few seconds and then it asks for a system update. I follow the instructions but it shows an image of a zine player which I do not have.If I try and update it says my system is up to date then says a sonos update is required for my products to work properly.  I cand fet past this screen. I have a network consisting of a beam, play 1x2 snd a sonos one.Please advise what is going on   

I want to go  back to the old s2 appThis is missing to much  I am in the state to sell all my sonos ! And that is really true     

I’ve imported my music library from iTunes. I’m using an old version of iTunes (12.8.3.1). My music library is fairly large but what I’ve noticed is Sonos has only imported some of the material, not everything. I also have my iTunes music library on a newer macbook pro with the latest version of both the OS and iTunes, as well as on the cloud. I’ve tried importing from each of these (old iTunes, new iTunes and the cloud) with pretty much the same results. I’ll have maybe half or three quarters of a particular artists work while other artists I seem to get more / all of. I’ve tried importing a few times, starting from scratch each time. I’ve also tried “updating” my sonos library, neither approach resolved this. Anyone run into this and find a solution? OR, can you offer a method for me to simply import the missing content ad hoc? Thanks!

So despite the upgrades and issues with playlists and queues, I had managed to see my entire library on a NAS on the updated app. Then suddenly, on Friday, the Library disappeared and I can no longer see any songs, artists, albums, etc.HOWEVER, Sonos is still pulling from the library to play the Playlists that are still showing up. In other words, the old playlists are there and the songs on those playlists are playing, but now I can’t browse through my library alphabetically to play an album. Not that I was happy about losing search and playlist generation capabilities, but at least I could PLAY my library by scrolling through thousands of albums alphabetically.What happened on Friday?Before Friday, I was able to build new queues via Sonophone while waiting for functionality to return, but now I can’t see anything in my library to do that.I have 4 speakers: 2 ERA 100, 2 Play 1. Thx guys. There is no way to set up alarms anymore so I will have to unplug all my speakers because I have a feeling that new app didn’t delete alarms on speakers. Great work indeed (irony), honestly had bigger expectations from new app. But whole experience is messy as hell. UI is like from a two year old, where every part of app is acting differently with several mixed up ways to behave on user input. 

Music services not populating…..why?

Would it be possible to reinstate the SMBV1 protocol (alongside V2/3) to allow older file servers/storage to be used, for example, some usb file storage on wifi routers.? 

I have upgraded to a new router now I can’t connect to the new WI-FI. I tried all the settings still can’t connect. I tried deleting my account and created a new account now the products are not showing to pair. I tried deleting the app and reinstalled but still no luck. asking to sign in as an owner. Is anyone have solution for this? Thanks in advance.

Over night I my sonos one sl lost connection with the app. I’m not able to reconnect it through Wi-Fi or cable from the wall. The led light is solid white. I’ve tried rebooting my router and disconnect all my sonos devices. I’m using a deco m9 router. Any assistance is very much appreciated.
