Updated the app, excited to find out what’s in store. Seems to be a very busy, confusing app. Can’t access crossfade, which I use all the time. 

Hi - I’ve been using Sonos for 10 years or so now and whilst generally happy with it I do find the S2 app visibly very poor with its dark colours and especially for the up and down arrow keys and slider next to a list of tracks I am playing. This is a very easy fix in the software code so please fix it, make it Red or a light Blue or Green or anything that makes it easy to see against a Black background. 

I have returned from holiday to find a completely new layout in Sonos and am unable to work out how to navigate the new programme. Have instructions been issued 

I have been listening to KQED, my local NPR radio affiliate, as a radio station via the Apple Music source on Sonos for years. Now, it no longer appears when I look for it on Sonos, and the Apple Music station I had favorited in the Sonos mobile app just errors out. Yes, I can still listen to KQED using Sonos Radio as the source, but I’m not subscribed to the HD service and have no plans to do that, and the bitrate on the free version, anyhow, is lower than what I get from Apple Music, and has noticeable low fidelity digital artifacts. Apple Music’s version, when it was working on Sonos, was much higher quality and sounded great on my various Sonos speakers throughout the house.My hypothesis is that Sonos is attempting to drive subscription revenue, and has blocked KQED on Apple Music in order to drive listeners to Sonos Radio HD premium subscriptions. This new update sucks. I can no longer play all my speakers at once from the tv. Does anyone know how to adjust the base levels? I have it linked to my sound bar.  I have so many other questions but I’ll start here 

My Music Library is on a USB stick, plugged into a laptop which therefore has to always be on-line.  If I look for NAS drives (Amazon) everything seems to be “big” multi bay gadgets.  Is there a simple adapter to interface my network to the USB stick so it becomes a resource for my Music Library?TIADon    VA 

Ever since the new app update on iOS in early May, controlling my system is so frustrating I am thinking of finding a different provider (this after just updating most of my speakers just 4 months ago).All music defaults to one room. It takes almost two minutes to start playing music in a different room. Takes almost 1 minute to change a song. It takes exactly 52 seconds to change the volume.  The same behavior is happening on two different systems. It becomes very frustrating when you want to listen to something and it takes upwards of 3 minutes to play the music you want, in the room you want, at the volume you want. Note, I did not update my iPad to the latest version and the system works mostly fine. I’ve resorted to using my Bose portable speakers instead of Sonos. If the new app update is not reversed or the issues fixed soon, I will send my hardware back and move to a different provider. 

The new Android app was uploaded to my Pixel Pro 7 phone last night. While I can see the Sonos playlists I had previously created they are all faded out, I no longer see a list of the songs on the playlist.  If I click the three lines, I’m given a page that has nothing on it but “Replace Queue”.  When I click that, music starts playing from top of list. What does Replace Queue do? Can I control daily updates from phone app or just the PC (Dell PC). The music I listen to is on two separate drives on my PC.  The phone app lets me see the music under artist, album, or song choices but can’t scroll through 9K songs using a scroll bar on the right side as that no longer exists.  Can use finger to scroll.  Has anyone at Sonos tried doing that - it is unacceptable. Can’t add songs to Sonos playlists from phone app. Is there a problem with the phone app having a new icon but the PC hasn’t changed - does that mean something has not been updat

My primary use of the Sonos system is to access my own music library. Access has always been erratic and now it refuses to see my library at all.Is it the intention of Sonos to only service commercial streaming services or am I being too cynical?

Recently the sonos app suddenly stopped listing my spotify albums, stating that it has timed out and to contact spotify - even though it is sonos bug issue.  To add to the confusion the sonos app still allows me to access my playlists and individual songs

Hi,hope someone can help on here. Rebooted my laptop today and tried to reconnect to my Sonos One (I have 2) to find “Your Sonos product was not found”. Reinstalled the windows app and had no luck after 10 attempts to reconnect. Doesn’t come up in explorer on the network - - although when I cancel out of setup the app screen says “we found Sonos on your system”. I have unplugged the Sonos and attached to router via ethernet cable but still not found via explorer.Everything works fine on the phone app, but the new update is garbage - have lost access to my NAS, which has my music library on it. Why does Sonos change these things for no reason?For clarity, my router hasn’t changed, the password hasn’t changed and the router was rebooted yesterday, which is when all my problems seem to have started. The phone recognises the wifi network and passwords just fine. My Virgin Media page shows the two Sonos speakers as connected, so I am extremely confused. 

I have a problem with the New Sonos App V80.00.04. I am not able to configure any network settings in the New Sonos App on Android device. I was able to remove my previous Wifi network via the App, but after this the Network settings page is blank in the App and there are no buttons. I simply cannot add new network configuration to Sonos system settings. This must be a bug in the New Sonos App?I changed my Wifi router today and wanted reconnect all Sonos devices to the new Wifi network without reinstalling every device. I am able to connect the devices using an Ethernet cable to the Wifi router and everything works fine as long as one device is connected via cable to the router. But since I am not able to configure the new Wifi network to the Sonos settings, I cannot use all the devices wirelessly.

New update lags on button push for so long (pressing play for example), I loose my patience and press again assuming it didn’t register the first button push. Only to find that it plays and then responds to my second touch and pauses again immediately 😡 Same for volume, skip, and selecting songs, all lag roughly the same. Sometimes my button pushes take 2-3 seconds to happen. what happend to this amazing system ? It’s like we went back 15 years to the dawn of this tech. poor show Sonos. 

The alarm clock has been back since 80.00.08, but ....The alarm clock with a desired wake-up time of 6.30 only wakes up with a two-hour delay, at 8.30 am. Could it be that the current local time is not being used?

Since search doesn’t work for my local music, and was never good before.  How do I scroll thru my playlists when browsing,  There used to be a bar that would help jump to a letter?

Resolved problem of re-adding Music Library and Itunes Playlists by adding Apple Music; the recent updates wouldnt let me re-add my Music Library; I was never able to add Itunes Playlists; BUT -- I now can by simply adding Apple Music to Sonos;

As some of you may know I bought a blue sound system to replace my unserviceable Sonos system, well I gave my Sonos to my brother who’s son has set the system up for him, however he didn’t use Sonos “software” (if you can call it that), he has the system working flawlessly using an app called SONOPAD and an app called SONOPHONE..It works very smoothly and is pretty to boot.anyway I had, had enough of SONOS as a company so BYE BYE.👋 

I have a playbase, sub gen 2 and two play 1’s as rears setup as surround. When I try to trueplay, it gets to the spot where it says “next you’ll hear A series of tuning sounds…” I click begin tuning and nothing happens.. any ideas how to resolve this?I’ve tried the “play Spotify” for a minute or so before trueplay.. does not work.

My Sonos updated, and now if I have a guest come to my house, they are asked to sign into my account to use the system. Is there a way to let them use the system without signing in?

Sonos totally frozen, deleted twice no result, keeps saying something has gone wrong, yes it certainly has it was the moment they changed the app.

My Spanish internet radio stations are no longer working in the UK.  These include Blue Marlin, Ibiza Sonica, Ibiza Global Radio, Costa Del Mar - Chillout. All other TuneIn stations from outside the UK seem to be working fine and Ibiza Sonica is steaming fine when you go to their website. If you search for Ibiza Sonica in the Sonos app it comes up as a Sonos Radio station but won’t play.   Is anyone else experiencing this issue?   Thanks   Matt

I never seen an update of something which worked very well to become the worst app !Alarm removed, increase or decrease volume doesn’t work correctly, one minute to change the radio….this update was done to torpedo this service !RIP Sonos*Moderator Note: Modified subject in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.*

To whom it may concern at Sonos: You HAVE to roll back this new mobile app. It doesn’t work and it is ruining your reputation for quality. Signed, a long time Sonos user and advocate

After the last update of the application (version 80.01.11) a few days ago, the autoplay stopped working and in the settings I can no longer find the Autoplay setting.I use a turntable connected to the sonos Five with an Aux cable.Can anyone help me out? Thanks
