I just installed the latest iOS app version and it has to be said…The latest version fixes most, if not all, issues I had with the new version. The volume control is now very responsive - as good as before - and I do not get all the nasty error messages that were popping after whatever action I did. I know it should not have happened in the first place but, Sonos does deserves credits here. It is back to the stable app I used to have.Thanks.

Could someone please help me?  I’ve invested way too many hours in trying to get my music library back working and nothing works.  I have a new MacBook Air running Sonoma 14.5 OS.  I’ve been using an old Apple Time Capsule as my NAS -- solely for the purpose of connecting my library to my Sonos system.  That’s worked great for years until Sonos killed it.  Whatever, I’m trying to get to the acceptance stage of the grieving process.  I just want to hear my music.I’ve tried all of the guidance that others have listed.  I’ve gone to the File Sharing settings on my Mac and have tried adding my music library saved locally on my computer as an NAS; I’ve tried adding my Time Capsule as an NAS.  It won’t work.  I’ve tried using my password, not using my password.  Variously I get error messages saying “incorrect username and/or password” or error 913.  The error messages aren’t consistentYes, I have “Share files and folders using SMB” marked yes.  I have no idea what SMB1 -2 o

The app doesn’t show voice boost or quiet mode anymore…where’d that feature go???  

Hello, I am at my wit’s end with non-functioning alarms on my 4 sonos speakers for many weeks now. To be honest, I’ve lost count how long it’s been since alarms last worked :( Yes, I can manage alarms in all three apps, but the alarms never actually go off. Purchased multiple VERY grossly overpriced components and spent hours trying to register them, endless factory resets, app resets, hours on the phone with support only to be told the sonos app is a buggy worthless pile of trash. No fix in sight or ETA from a day or months when it could actually be functional and let customers who spent thousands of dollars actually use the overpriced products. 

Since I reset my Sonos speakers to factory setting I have been unable to add Apple Music and Alexa voice assistant to the speakers. 

I was one of the loudest fans of Sonos after latest software update I can’t stand my system I have to disconnect router and all speakers every time I want to use if not a solution am ready throw all in garbage and go with another system which is an expensive proposition i tried to call customer service said 55 minute wait chat had no one available

I have just updated sonos app in the App Store but am still unable to add music from Apple Music library to sonos, it takes me through the sign in/authorise procedure but then I get “we have run into a problem please try again “ I am on my iPad. Does anyone know how to authorise Apple Music on iPad?

Searching for your own music is obviously challenged by Sonos’ terrible new app. However, I have managed to get the app to detect my large music collection… where I can then scroll endlessly through my 6000 albums on my NAS. But now I’m also experiencing that Sonos loses connection to my own music collection, after which I have to set up the library all over again. Additionally, I have to split my collection into parts and add it piece by piece to the library - because if I do it all at once, Sonos fails. Why can’t Sonos add all 6000 albums at once, as I could before the new app?

It used to work, but now every time I try to play Spotify, I get a “Unable to play selected item”. It also isn’t importing the artists that I’ve played on Spotify. Same result on the laptop or the phone.I’ve tried reauthorizing the account several times, then deleted it and reinstalled it.  Spotify and Sonos both say everything is good, but no change.Then I deleted it, reset the controller on the laptop, and reinstalled it. That at least brought over my Spotify history, but still the same error. What else can I try? Thanks!

Having issues similar to gobs of other posts. What to do?   Wait for updates and bug fixes?  I have 6 Sonos products.  I like them when they work but I’m thinking of transitioning to another product.  I never loved the software, now I hate it.  Anyone have experience with another brand?  Don’t want to spend another $2,000 but if the writing is 9n the wall…..

I’ve updated SONOS on my Android phone. The new app is awful compared to the old one and has so many bugs, as noted by customers on this site minute-by-minute over the past week or so.I’ve also updated my SONOS app on my Windows 11 computer. This is where I have my music library. The update removed the library. I tried to re-add it, and it came up with Error 913. I can’t access the music library…..I can’t use SONOS for what I bought it for!!!! Frustrated doesn’t go anywhere near how I feel right now. I’m not an I.T. Test Analyst. Neither have I volunteered to be a BETA tester for SONOS. But my investment in SONOS equipment has been destroyed by this update. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

To whom it may concern.  Hi.  I've patiently waited, with optimism, hoping that the following issues/features would have been resolved by now.  I'm not aware if any of them have been previously mentioned but I thought it wise to compile a list, everyone please feel free to add any issues or missing features still unresolved, as I can only speak from my personal use case.  The 'Widget' was removed and has not yet returned Unable to play favorites set from you local Music Library located in 'Sonos Favorites' Any attempt results in the toast 'something went wrong' appearing.  Unable to pin content from Music Library to 'Favorites - pinned collection' Unable to access EQ settings directly from volume sliders No tabs for easy access/navigation to different sections of the app, currently have to press the back button 5 times if you are in the 'Music Library' section in se

I’m not even sure how to ask this question, but will try. With the old app I could play music from a source on a speaker in one room, while my wife could play In another room from a different source. Now with the new app one of us will disconnect the other when one of us starts content from a different source in a different room. Does this make sense? Never had this problem before.

I recently switched to a new Spotify account. How can I transfer in the Sonos app on my Mac all playlists to this new account? Thnx, for every useful solution.

In the new “upgraded” app, the “Edit Home” button doesn’t work correctly.  It lets me modify things, like removing old “favorites” or pinned items, but then the next time I open the app, it’s all there again.  It also keeps removing my Music Library, which is the main functionality how I use Sonos. Recently, it completely removed it, and after about an hour of reading the community posts, I figured out that I could re-enable my Music Library on the Windows App, thereby allowing me to access it again on my Android app. Is there a plan to fix the “Edit Home” so that your edits actually stay? 

Sonos WHY are you advertising new products etc when you're ignoring your loyal customers who made the mistake of buying Sonos products, YOUR APP DOES NOT WORK! A simple command i.e. turn up/down the volume still does not work It is dangerously glitchy, if i turn it up it just jumps up/down after 5 or 10 seconds, this is ridiculous, Could you please reply with an honest answer?

When my Sonos Playlist contains Apple Music Dolby Atmos tracks, those tracks will NOT crossfade. The first track has to end fully before the second is heard but starts 10 secs in (ie. no 10-second fade-up).Crossfade works fine with non-Atmos tracks.Is the Sonos bandwidth just not up to playing two Atmos tracks over one another? (I have a Sonos Arc with sub and surrounds.)

I am just at the end of my tether . Today both android apps keep crashing and I can't access anything. My imac where my local library is now says access denied . I spent 48 hours weeks ago getting the damn thing to recognise my library. Got it to work and now today the whole thing is playing up. I can't play anything from my local library. It's saying access denied AGAIN.  WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON !!!!!! IM SO ANGRY WITH WASTING MY TIME FIXING BUGS AND ISSUES CAUSED BY THIS NEW APP ITS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING AND RIDICULOUS. SONOS , YOU SHOULD HAVE ALLOWED PEOPLE TO REVERT BACK TO THE S2 APP WHILE YOU GET YOUR ACT INTO GEAR AND SORT OUT THIS DEBACLE. WE AS CONSUMERS SHOULDN'T BE HAVING TO DEAL WITH YOUR ISSUES CAUSED BY AN ARROGANT ATTITUDE TOWARDS YOUR CUSTOMER BASE . SHAME ON YOU !!!!

I have lost access to my iTunes account on Sonos Apphave read through the fixes and work around but nothing works, all my files have the share option ticked but Sonos app says no error code 913, even deleted all the share links and added them again but still it won’t have itits really starting to annoy me that the one thing I purchased the system for is no longer workingany help gratefully received, I’m on IOS platform using the desktop app to talk to a Mac mini all devices are on same WiFi network 

I am trying to use SONOS APP on my ANDROID phone ( Android 13 )Each time I try to open the APP,  I get a message “Sonos keeps stopping”.  And the APP then closes.SAME WITH MY WIFE’s ANDRIOD PHONE  ( Android 13 also ) i.e. it isn’t just me / my phone.So, if I were reliant on those phone interfaces, I WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS SONOS.This very frustrating issue started a couple of days ago.Fortunately, Sonos still works on the Windows PC platform.I have removed the APP from the phone then reinstall ;  unfortunately I get the SAME RESULT.Any ideas / suggestions ?     

Hello,will music library feature ever be restored - PC - Windows 11 (not NAS)? Does anyone have more detailed information?Or should I look for a replacement for my Sonos Amp? (Bluesound, Wiim, Kef, NAD...)Thank you P.

Qobuz playlists are not available when using the upgrade app on Android. These playlists are properly displayed when using the Sonos program for Windows.When a Qobuz playlist is added via the Windows program, it plays and shows up on the Android under “Recently Played”; however, clicking on that playlist on the Android fails “Something went wrong” ← No kidding.

It is just not to the level it should beowning 20 units and the app dors not operate properly Way better at the beginning  please do something
