I can browse my (very large) music library but not search it - what am I missing?

I’m having trouble adding Sonos Move. Thought I finally got it and was directed to update, but then got error 1002.  please advise. 

My Saavn Playlist does not show in Sonos app

The ability to add, delete or rearrange tracks in the queue is, in my opinion, fundamental.  As of today, I am still unable to do so on my Android platforms.  Thankfully, I have an app on my Windows 11 laptop that still allows me that feature.I have read much about when this ability will be reapplied.  Sonos support had told me that the week of July 8 was the goal.  That didn’t happen.In a chat session with a Support Rep just days ago, I was informed that NO ONE at Sonos knew when this feature would be reinstated.Over the years, I have purchased multiple pieces of Sonos equipment.  Up until the May app “upgrade” I have been a loyal and satisfied owner who has recommended the system to many.  Now, I am embarrassed and angry.  How can a company whose overwhelming stake is in allowing clients to play the music they choose when they choose it, go so far astray as to ruin that ability while providing no solid timeline for fixes?Sonos, you have alienated me and untold thousands of others.  S

Ive always found the Sonos system cumbersome but have managed to negotiate around but now my new phone cant open the sonos system at all. Ive tried everything but no luck. Any suggestions?

It takes minimum 3 to 5 seconds to change volume,changing music is even more challengingPatrick Spence must quit !

I have an amp with two speakers outside that I have had for a couple years now.  Within the last week, the outdoor speakers have randomly begun playing at different times, in the middle of the night and again this morning at 9am (music blasting when we never have it that loud when operating normally).  I use Pandora (if that matters) and Andriod phones to operate the system.

Recently my Sonos app (Android) was upgraded to the “new, better” interface.  Now when I go to the app, it frequently shows me a page that says there are no connected products.  If I leave it long enough (anywhere from 10s of seconds to minutes), my system finally shows up.  This never used to happen - it’s only since this upgrade.  Any ideas on this?Thanks in advance. 

Lost all products. Tried factory resets uninstaled the app. What a waste. It used to work great until I changed rooms which I have done previously with no problems.

Problem:Sonos app doesn't automatically recognize separate Sonos systems on different wifi networks (home and office) even if they are under the same account. The app will ask me to go to "System settings" to "Join this system" an existing system every single time i come to home or work.Desired outcome:Seamless switching between Sonos systems at home and work within the Sonos app (the app should be able to remember more than 1 system).Information:Separate Sonos systems (different locations, not connected on the same network). Automatic wifi switching on phone (connects to work wifi when at work, home wifi when at home). Going through the hazel of joining the system in settings works but is extremely annoying.Any suggestions or workarounds appreciated!Notes:I have seen the mentioning of Sonos “Households” but can not find it in the settings. I just upgraded to the new Sonos app, what an AWFUL, AWFUL mistake that was!I need to get the APK for the previous version. Please somebody send me a link.The new app does not allow quick easy control of the volume and EQ settings from the main volume slider. Everything about the new UI is just incomplete or missing. Although I could probably get over how psychologically jarring the new change is (I even lose the app icon now its color has changed), basic features are just missing.I can’t accept the inability to quickly control the sound I hear from a system designed for playing sound. Not fit for function any more! It’s got to go, will downgrade and block future updates.Sad to say Sonos, bitterly disappointing.

I note from the post announcing the New Search that local music library was not included.  I’m puzzled by this as I can’t be the only person who has hundreds of albums in their local library.  I have two questions:Why was the local library excluded from the local search? Do you have plans to retrofit it into the New Search, and if so when will this happen?

I have downloaded the new app but cannot get it to open it was working fine before .when I attempt to open the app it gives me a list of the countries I click on United Kingdom and that as far as I can get it will not let me press the accept button is there anything else I can do .thanks to anyone that can help 

Randomly, my listening queue get reset when using Apple Music.Is that when there is an update or a network glitch something ? It shouldn’t happen, so annoying … 

Hey guys, today there is a new update rolling out for Sonos amp. After updated it , I lost control for my subwoofer. I currently have a 3rd party subwoofer connected to Sonos amp via wire, the app used to give me direct control to the subwoofer, I can turn it on and off. After the update, I can still change the sub level and other settings , it’s just the Sub switch button has no effect at all. Because I can’t manually switch the sub off or it has no effect, now I always have the crossover frequency no matter which setup I am switching to (I have two pairs of speakers connecting to the amp and using a speaker switcher to switch them on and off, one pair has great bass already which I needed to turn the sub output off).  Is there a way to make it work , if not can i roll back to an earlier build of the app? Maybe this is simply not an issue with the app, but more of a firmware issue which being deployed along with the app update, I have no idea. I tried to restart the app, even reset th

Dear Sonos,Well….you have lost yet another one.  I’ve got over 5 grand invested in your products, and I’m done playing these BS games. I’ve followed every single thing I’ve been told to do by Sonos and have updated constantly to the latest versions. After all that, my path to my library to this day keeps disappearing, and fails to work. My speakers keep disconnecting, causing me to have to unplug power just to get them to work again. No queue control whatever. WTF ?. Everything worked awesome….and I mean awesome, up until your May update. I have supported this platform thru all the highs, and as of recently all the lows too. You have inconvenienced me to no end. I had prepared music for my daughter’s wedding, that obviously didn’t work out due to all the issues you have caused….and is all I get is a “we’re sorry” for the inconvenience we have caused you. If I did my job like your software engineers have done with this rollout, I would’ve been fired. This app update should’ve never been

Hi All,I pay and subscribe to Pandora music and have for years . But just this week when I have asked Alexa to play something on Pandora through Sonos, it only plays one song and then can’t move on to the next. Any station I choose stops playing. This has been happening whether I choose a Pandora station like Yoga Radio or a specific one like Phil Collins Radio. Anyone else have this problem? Sonos is making Pandora useless to me unless this is fixed. Thanks. 

One more issue for me, in addition to the familiar music library fail, and with latest update, iOS battery drain when running Sonos in background:2 of my 3 speakers are constantly dropping out when playing a new track. Have to manually re-engage them each time.

When the “upgraded” app was released, as you all know - it was a major debacle.  I tried to give Sonos some time, figuring the Product Team rushed the developers & project team, just so they could start selling the headphones.  However, it’s been several weeks, and there are still major bugs.  I’ve spent multiple hours reading things on the Community site (since it’s impossible to get through to Tech Support, and that seems like a lost cause anyway)… and found workaround to some issues, but I’d like to list others I haven’t found a solution for, in case anyone knows of a fix.  (Why we have to spend this much time figuring out workarounds for something that used to work just fine is beyond me...) I’ve read the various links (ex.https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/the-new-sonos-app-and-future-feature-updates) posted about “planned upgrades” (i.e. restoring previous functionality) and bug fixes, but don’t see anything in the near future about these items.  I’ve restarted my system

The update installed on July 18 or 19 shows “No selections are available” for my windows 10 music library. The folder adds to the system and appears in the selection menu for Sonos, but gives the”No selections” message.  The system was working fine and once again, the update “screwed the pooch.”Any ideas out there? Sonos has a fix for a MAC, but I have a PC

 When I hold on an Amazon Music playlist and choose Play Now  I get the error Something went wrong…. I’m a patient guy so I wait and finally it loads ( well part of it…500 of 622 tracks ).  It doesn’t start playing; I have to do that part.  Cleared queue with old app and tried same playlist but chose Replace Queue.  No error but this time it only loaded 100 of 622 tracks.  This app is quirky. Does the same thing with Apple Music, but the number of tracks loaded varies.  Never the right amount. The tracks are all Atmos. 

Dear Sonos,The new app uploaded itself on apple devices and now my system is completely bricked/useless. I have ZERO components in my system. I have tried to factory reset it, doesn’t work. Tried resetting the app, doesn’t work. Tried to get hold of support to no surprise ZERO chat reps available at 10:30 eastern time, and 50 minute wait for support.Do you people sit in a room and make up ways to piss your consumers off, because you are AMAZING at it? This entire system is about 24 hours outside of going in the garbage can since i can’t use them anymore.

I will never buy anything else from Sonos - the app is unusable - the only way I can change music is from the desktop app - the old app working fine but now I am forced to update, which basically breaks my Sonos system. I hope someone from Sonos management reads these forums - this is how companies go bust, by making their products worse and worse.Sorry for the rant but I am so frustrated. 

Dear Sonos team.My self and it seems most users are very upset with this new app it basically makes my Sonos systems useless. One of the biggest issues out of many to list here is true play gets stuck in the continue screen and the only way to go back is to close the app and reopen it. This is happening with all my systems I have several in my house. I’m so frustrated at this  point  I'm thinking of just dumping everything in the trash as sono  has not even made a statement on this very critical bad update. We are customers and we deserve better we have supported this company for years!
