I am not able to choose a Plex Playlist in the Alarm Function.  

I followed the instructions on my MAC and worked around the 913 error by creating the path to my library as if it were a NAS. Everything was fine until last week’s update and now most of my albums are listed multiple times in Sonos and the majority of them are empty. (Example below) I have tried deleting and reloading and even using the real NAS version of my library, but without any change. Does anyone know a fix for this? 

After updating my system with the latest app (80.04) my system has vanished, including arc and surrounds, every room that had a speaker isn’t showing up. Even when I try and add an existing speaker I get an error.  after using the previous app for years it has been very stable and these issues popped up right after update, not sure if anyone else is seeing these issues. 

I'm looking for a way to save a track to a different playlist. Does that function exist in the Sonos YT music connection?

Does anyone know why my tuner radio doesn't work anymore? I want to listen to radio stations from different countries, it hasn't been working for some time. since they made an update to the system, you can no longer listen to streams, it always says that something is wrong. it seems to me that it is working, but in reality nothing is heard. since then I regret that I opted for sonos

Please release a separate tool for down / upgrade then it is a conscious effort to understand consequences of the process, so you can't upgrade by mistake and now not being able to downgrade or listen to music on a perfectly good S1 system? Honestly I should be able to sue as now can't use it!!!?Hurry up and fix this please??

Dear Sonos Team,your new app does not connect with my Beam (from 2019). I read here, I am not alone with those troubles. I also tried everything with resetting the system etc. 2 hours work for nothing.I was just thinking to expand the system throughout the house. But spending a lot of money by ending up to not beeing able to use the system anymore is making me somehow careful now.what is your solution for all the connection issues?

Hello, I have the following set-up since 2 years: one ARC paired with 2 sonos one. I bought a renewed Sub (gen 1 or 2) and am unable to connect it to my system. The installation requires an update of the Sub (written it should take a few minutes only) but after a lot of attemps, I'm still not able to complete the update. I of course reset to factory setting multiple time, unplugged reppluged, rebooted the WiFi etc but still no success: the update starts but never completes itself and no error message appears. Using S2 for set up. Thanks for your helpP

Good morning.Please advise what should I do? My Sonos system couldn’t connect to one of the speaker. I reset the speaker to factory settings and the try to connect it one more time . Speaker was able to communicate during connection process but was not able to join current WiFi network.in fact all other speakers are erased from the system and I can’t connect them any more.what shall I do ? 

Sonos said that they would restore accessibility for the Sonos app to utilize your local music library (in my case, MacOS).   This has not happened, it still doesn’t work and we’re approaching August.Anyone else seeing the same issue? 

I cannot add speakers or play at   I sign out and back in and still cannot add. Just keep getting the prompt to dign out and back in  

SO, there has been an update…. Local Library is back...HOWEVER I can not add it to my Sonos . Ive followed everything on here ...IS THERE SOMETHING IM MISSING ?????  I managed to get it to recognise my external drive as a NAS and it worked ...BUT AGAIN since the update for the Local library IM NOW UNABLE TO EVEN DO THAT ….IT USED TO BE SO SIMPLE TO ADD YOUR LIBRARY.  IM SLOWLY LOSING HOPE THAT THIS WILL EVER BE AS GOOD AS IT WAS BEFORE THID NEW APP. HEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLP

I have a speaker pair on which I previously could adjust left and right balance.  With the the new app update I cannot adjust left and right balance !!! So my speakers are stuck with the balance towards the right speaker which I use when I work at my desk.  Please tell me how to adjust balance with app new update or explain how to go back to previous version. This is not acceptable.The whole update is clunky and hard to use.  Also it seems the app is pushing you to use Sonos music services.  And it feels like you are bing pushed to use Voice App.I have spent $$$ on speakers to listen to my music.  The app should let me do that easily and seamlessly. 

Just installed this update.  Couldn't see my system , wanted extra Bluetooth permissions on Android which I didn't allow.  Restarted, system found!However, on both iOS & Android apps Apple Music no longer displays the lossless system.  Moved the track position back & forth a few times, but still no logo.Is this yet another bug in this "update" or are we back to lossy streams from Apple Music?Thanks 

Like everyone else, I have had so many issues with the app. I was finally able to install/index my music library from iTunes. However, it unfortunately stopped working.  I called support and the reuploaded it for me. Now I get the message “UNABLE TO BROWSE MUSIC” if i click on a specific playlist, artist or song. I have called customer support twice on this issue and they just delete and reupload my music library. However, once the library is fully indexed/uploaded, I get the same message. So reuploading the music library is not the solution. If I try to access my music library from the app on my iPhone, it either won’t show my imported music library or say “error, try again” if I try to play a song from it.I have a Mac and an iPhone. Has anyone else had this issue? Any solutions?

I have had nothing but problems since I’ve bought these products, the app is garbage. Just keep it simple. I even have three garbage speakers. I will never spend another dime on Sonos. As expensive as these are you would think would care about the quality of the product. No access to the my library that was the only reason a bought this garbage. I have bought over 14 different products 3 don’t even work or connect unless on Ethernet cables. If I could get my money out of them I’d buy something else. I even have an inside person at the company in Sanat Barbara. She really didn’t have an answer for me. Can’t fix ****. For years.  Should have gone with Bose this kind of money. Are the upcoming fixes going to address the 500-song limit on imported playlists? This limit makes me want to ditch Sonos—super annoying! I entertain several times a year & have curated themed playlists & this limit stinks!

I was shocked, shocked I tell you, to discover the web app actually shows the queue.Anyway, could you please remove the icons for the music service from them, the Apple red circle (and the YTM one) look terrible on the otherwise dark UX IMHO:Also: I don’t care what music service they came from. If I need to know for some reason, I can look at the main Now Playing area (where it shows it with a subtle little Apple icon, not the garish red music service circle).

Until this morning, my system was running a large music library (24159 files, 112Gb) from a Buffalo LS220D NAS Drive (with SMBv2 enabled).I added a couple of new files and updated the music library and got the message that the music folder on the NAS Drive…“is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed. Go to Settings > System > Music Library Setup to check the path.”The NAS was definitely still available and working.I made the mistake of removing the music folder from the Sonos system and re-adding it, which just gave me the same message as above, but now with no music files on my system at all!I spent the rest of the day trying to make this work, but got nowhere and also called Sonos support, who were very helpful and seemed to have solved the problem, advising me to add the files back into my music folder in smaller numbers. Hi and PLEASE HELPSince I updated my Sonos app I‘m not able to connect to my Sonos System. My wife is still using the version before May 8th and everything runs perfect if I use her iPhone. so…. My network (WiFi) and all my Sonos Speaker are working. For 100% it is because of the app update. Is there anyone who can help or @SonosSupport… do you plan to push an update within the next days?

anybody else noticed a significant increase in ios battery drain using the new app? if left open, it runs in the background and drains the battery similar to spotify. nuts. is it the new squiggly lines used to indicate that a speaker is playing?! i have to make sure i close the app after using it and particularly at night. have gotten so i rely on the web app and only use the ios app when i have to. did anyone get fired for f-ing up this app and sonos in general? why can’t sonos go back to the old app, which had few if any problems instead of continuing to run over uses while it figures out what the f it is doing...and how long is that going to take, exactly?

With the new update I can no longer control the volume on my speaker from the side of my iPhone when I’m connected via Bluetooth. I literally have to go over to the speaker and adjust the volume. If I go into the Sonos app and select the speaker that’s connected to Bluetooth to try and adjust the volume this way it then disconnects the speaker from Bluetooth and wants me to play through the app only which I can’t do bc I’m using BBC Sounds in the US or Audible and the integration with the app is bad. I used to be able to connect whatever I wanted to one of my Bluetooth Sonos speakers and then connect the rest of my system (Bluetooth and non Bluetooth) to whatever was playing through the Bluetooth speaker and adjust each speaker’s volume separately. This system is now barely usable the way it’s designed and I’m pretty upset. If there is a new way of doing this I haven’t realized please share.

Hi, I have updated my iOS app to the latest 80.05.04 version, but the problem of not finding my speaker at launch remains, despite the speaker is playing at that instance. It's truly perplexing when I use the webapp on my notebook, it has no problem finding my speakers. I know about some discussions regarding the usage of 2.4ghz vs 5ghz, please, why do I have to change all those settings just for Sonos?Besides, when I "Update network" on the app, it has no issue finding my speaker. Why is that? Cause my iOS is always on 5ghz. Why can't you invoke the same routine for finding the speaker when I launch the app?

The volume sliders in new app require a very precise touch on the small ‘dot’ before you are able to ‘slide’ the volume. Yes, you can tap volume up/down.Could an additional alternative approach be taken, like Apple Music, where you can slide the volume by touching anywhere on the volume slider, and sliding left/right, ie using a less precise approach? 

With firmware 16.3.1, released yesterday (I believe), the library search that was recently introduced seems broken?(On the other hand, it did seem to restore the ability to play from library playlists. But do we have to go one step forward and one step back all the time? 😉)
