System not found message on loading app - not consistent - 3 attempts to load with closing app in between attempts - it then loads - other times it loads first try - bit anoying - anyone else - not a new router or poor wifi - another for the Sonos fix team 

Why Sonos APP says my Apple Music is expired?

Since the new app update made to launch the headphones, one of the myriad of problems that makes Sonos almost unusable, is the inability when using Tidal to autoplay the next track when listening to an album or top tracks or radio station. It takes away the joy of listening to music and just making it very frustrating. Well done Sonos! Is there a plan to fix this issue?

Why is it so hard to find the version number of the current app and version number of the new release or is yet more smoke and mirrors. Role back is the answer.

Hi, trying to set up a new Sonos system, can’t add BBC Sounds, it doesn’t appear in the list of available services. I’m physically in the UK. My address on my profile is in the UK and has been for over 24 hours now. I’ve attempted several updates but they all come back saying nothing to update. Anything else to try?

Sometime in the past month, the Sonos app has started to continuously stream a silent stream to my hearing aids, from launching the app until it is killed by flicking out of the app list. This is more of a problem that it sounds, because the hearing aids basically stop working while this is happening; you can’t hear people talking to you, and you can’t hear the music you’re trying to play or judge the volume you’re playing it at. Other iOS apps do it too (Shazam, Spotify) so I’m guessing it’s a iOS app kludge. There was a similar issue 6 years ago:  I’m sure the app team is swamped at the moment, but it would be great to hear that this issue is understood, and would be addressed at some point.

My sonos system consists of the (Arc, Era 300 Surrounds, Sub gen 3). I’m writing this due to issues i have with the connectivity of the system, recently (I’ve got no clue if the issue is due to the recent Sonos  App revamp) all of my speakers refuse to connect together with the arc leaving all of them standalone units that cannot be setup again, the setup menu appears in the app but after trying just loads indefinitely. I’ve tried resetting every unit including the Arc and it worked for a couple of days but then the issue repeats itself. I honestly have no clue as to what to do to get the system up and running again, this is really frustrating as i often use Dolby atmos and I can’t seem to get the full experience with a system that isn’t functioning. Not to mention that i also have a Sonos One pair which completely disappeared from the system and a Sonos One SL that disappeared from the system as well. 

This may have been mentioned before, but a quick search didn’t find anything.Note first that I’m still running S1. (I know, lucky me.) It’s possible that the same will apply to S2.Starting a few weeks ago, I noticed that many of the SXM stations I had added to my SONOS Favorites were no longer displaying cover art and song/artist/album info. Oh, well, at least the music was still playing.This morning I happened to select one of my SXM SONOS Favorites directly from the SXM “Browse” interface, and suddenly the missing info was displayed. Switched back to the Favorites selection; still missing there. So I deleted all of the SXM stations from my SONOS Favorites list and re-added them, and now I know who’s singing.

I was trying to see if anyone else has posted this but couldn’t find anything. My biggest issue with the new app is that we’ve lost the ability to skip forward/backward 15-30 seconds at a time within the Libby and Pocket Casts apps. I use those way more than any other app and often use those features. Please try to bring them back!

After the disastrous S2 update where my Play1 devices just stopped working, I have once again got back on that horse to see if the issue was fixed with the latest update. Please tell me if I made a mistake.I have 3 play1s. None of them were found in the app Unplug all of them from the electricity Connect one play1 to router via ethernet Plug in the electric cord and hold play/+ button for factory reset Red lights start blinking Red lights stop blinking and turn into green blinking lights Go to most recent version of S2 app, to system and click Add Play1 App finds Play1 and proceeds to prepare it Message: The connection with Play1 has been broken make sure it is on (Play1 was not disconnected). Pressed 'Proceed’ and it tries again to prepare the Play1 Message: Your Play1 could not be installed. Unplug it and plug it back in again, and try again. Unplug Play1 and wait for 15 seconds Plug Play1 back in and see white light blinking White light turns to green light blinking Click ‘Done’ in

Hi,I just bought Sonos speaker (Ikea Symfonik) and configured it on my network. The installation in with the app was seamless, I can play music from app or through Air Play. However, I and my family are using Spotify, so that this is my priority to make Spotify working.When I open Spotify and see all available outputs, the speaker is here. However, when I try to select this speaker, it starts connecting but after few seconds, the connection fails.I don’t know, if anything changed - because in step by step guides there is written “Login to spotify in the Sonos app”. However, the Spotify is not in the “Your services” section. There is Apple Music and couple of other services, but not Spotify.Thanks,Jindrich

Seems the Sonos Favorites links on the home page of the app is greyed out and doesn’t actually play them if pressed.  ps, you can delete and add them again, same issue greyed out and not useable. 

I have three speakers  - two Sonos one SL and one with Alexa. Over the last weeks the app on my Android keeps failing to open. I've had to use  play Sonos  on my laptop to access my system. But it's not convenient dragging laptop round house! Any others facing this problem? 

The New app doesnt seem to support Pinguin Radio, the main radio station (some "daughter" stations like Pinguin Classic are supported). This must be a mistake.  Could Sonos please add Pinguin Radio?

I’m able to go through the process of setting an alarm, but when I save it and navigate away then return back to the alarms section to check it’s still there, it’s gone!  I’m on the latest software update.  Seems not everyone has this problem.  My partner is able to set alarms on their own separate system in their house, but I can’t on my system and they are identical set ups.   is there a fix / any word on why / when this willbe sorted?

Führt wahrscheinlich zu nichts?Funktioniert das denn mal? Irgendwann? Man gibt ein Heidengeld für Sonos aus und man ärgert sich nur! Wenn es denn mal läuft hört es ja a schon sehr gut an Erst denkt man es liegt wo anders dran, W lan Einstellungen etc was weiß ich. Anbieter gewechselt, zig Router getauscht und gewechselt. Dann läuft in der Küche die Mikrowelle und Zack Aussetzer. Das WLAN und Mikrowelle sich stören, kann ja passieren. Nach dem Update funktioniert es seltsamerweise. Wahrscheinlich zufällig. Dann möchte man (ich) Stereo hören also 2 von den Dingern. Es läuft Musik und irgendwann fällt Mal ein Kanal aus. Nicht immer derselbe. Oder bei Gruppenbetrieb ist irgend eine oder andere nicht mehr dabei. Wieder dazu holen mit ach und Krach. Hindern sich die Streaming Dienste oder sind die nicht kompatibel. Wenn die Quelle per HDMI zur Arc kommt OK läuft es flüssig. Möchte aber nicht ständig die Glotze dafür anlassen, es sollte ja auch anders gehen, was l irgendwie nicht funktioniert

I downloaded the Sound Phone app for $3.99 from the Apple App Store for iPhone.  $3.99 is small ransom to pay after Sonos has held my equipment and music hostage since their disaster release from early May 2024.  IT WORKS!  Sound Phone instantly recognized my Sonos Amps, speakers, and all of my music sources.  The volume latency issues are resolved.  The app is stable.  Imagine, consistent streaming!  I can’t guarantee it will work for you, but the developer of Sound Phone is a hero to me!

I have a number of Sonos speakers all running S2 and on the whole they work great, but recently I've been experiencing a few annoying quirks. I should say I have a One connected to my router and then everything running from there.I used to have a One in my office and another in my extension. I moved the extension One into my office and set it up as a stereo pair, and now have an Era 1 in the extension.However, every now and again (maybe every month or so), the Office pair randomly renames itself to Extension. So I end up with 2 speakers both called Extension. So I can go in the app and rename the office one back again and it does work from there. I did try unpairing, then renaming the two Ones to be Office Left and Office Right, then recreating the stereo pair and calling it Office again. But even so it will just occasionally rename itself. The other day I started some music on it, then a minute or so later asked it to turn the volume down in the office and I got an angry clunk. Looked

Hi, updated to new version of app as of May 21, 2024, and I see the alarm function back but none of my alarms are actually going on at their right times. Anyone else have this issue?

SR P3 suddenly replaced by TriColor on Sonos (not google home). This has happend before. Second time I report it after it has failed again after some 6-8 month of working.There are other threads here (8 months old or so) with the same complaint.

It seems like it's time to try to collect at much info as possible on not being able to add  Ikea symphonisk’s since the last update.In my case, I bought some Symphonisk picture frames. Via ethernet and or wifi, you can get to the very last step, verify audio pin and then you are told that there was an issue adding the product to your system no matter what route you take, manual pin verification, audio pin verification, same outcome. For science I returned the first set and got another set. Same exact issue. For science one more time, I returned those and tried it again, same exact issue.  I was able to successfully add a sub mini which is great, but pointless at this point. This was attempted with both an ios and and an android device on the latest release for both platforms. Attempting to use the 16.1 app on android to try to add these speakers does not work either. Not because it doesn’t work but because the app refuses to let you add anything IF you are not running the latest app.

So, at what point do Sonos come clean and at least be transparent about what is causing the bulk of the connectivity issues? Surely after 3 months you must have a good idea, because if you don’t that’s even worse news. The reason I ask is, if there is any common thread that users could look into to help themselves, it might be useful information. If it can only be fixed in the Sonos code, fine, but an explanation of what’s gone wrong, why and then when you expect it to be mostly fixed would still help enormously. Technical silence, spin and empty promises are not the way to earn back the trust of your user base. 

I’ve been very unhappy with the new app from the start. And now, after a forced update of my Sonos Beam just now, my music library (1,500 cd’s painstakingly converted to ALAC) has completely disappeared. Come on Sonos, are you deliberately trying to alienate your original user base? WTF!

I’ve had my Sonos system connected to my 2TB music library via OneDrive for years. With the new app, I can no longer connect OneDrive. I’ve been using this setup: OneDrive for Sonos (michaeldick.me) which no longer works. Is there an ETA on when this will be resolved? It is bad enough I can’t create playlists which I use to sleep and haven’t slept well since the new app came out but now I don’t have access to any of my unique music that isn’t available anywhere but on my OneDrive.When will this app be fixed and work as well as the previous app?
