I’m using Amazon music service and I’m unable to listen consistently any playlist or individual song. It’s common that after a few minutes I’m receiving the error “X unable to play, the song is not encoded correctly”

Is there a solution to this?

This is very annoying

I’m having the same issue but from my music library.  It is skipping songs with the message “Unable to play <song> - the song is not encoded correctly”  I’ve only noticed it with mp4a Apple Lossless files.  It is consistently skipping the same songs, all of which play perfectly through iTunes or on my phone.  I just happened to notice this when I was trying to figure out the issue with multiple entries in the Album list which I see is another widely reported issue.  My apps, other than being slow to recognize my Sonos system, have mostly avoided the problems with the new software.

Dropping high quality audio while playing lower quality tracks is usually a network issue.

You can work through the FAQ solutions or just wait for a drop, submit a diagnostic and contact Sonos support with the number for assistance.
