Both myself and my boyfriend are experiencing this issue. We have been for months and it has not fixed itself. We recently went to stay with my parents and tried connecting to their sonos system. It would not let us because it kept trying to sign us into my dad’s account. Now we have returned to our flat and are trying to use our own system, it will not let us in and keeps trying to sign me into my brothers account. The app is not helpful at all as we cannot click on anything (not even a ‘change user’ option) without first signing into his account. My brother has never lived here and did not set up our account so this is really frustrating and seems like a poor design. Can anyone please help and tell us how to get back into our own system? Thanks

I had Apple Music added and deleted it because I was having issues with it playing music. When I try to readd the service it just opens my Apple Music app and nothing happens. Things I tried so far is reinstalling the Sonos app, tried adding it through my macOS (not allowed)
I have a My Cloud Home setup and have connected it to the Sonos Desktop Controller on my MacBook Pro. Most of the music files read fine and are in the correct order but one folder is completely out of order. Can anyone suggest what might be the issue and how I can fix it? I am attaching a picture of what I see when I go into the album folder. I have other album folders that have files numbered the exact same way and they read absolutely fine. It’s really starting to drive me up the wall.Any advice would be appreciated.
Hello everybody, since the last weeks, around 9 am CEST I’m not able to reach Radio 24 anymore. I changed from itunes because all the songs in the playlist would not appear. Also, my music library from itunes kept disappearing. On Sonos recommendations, I changed to having sonos directly access the songs on my hard drive. Couple of days later my playulists that I set up in sonos playlists disappeared. I was told to upate my music library again. My playlists reappeared. Today, I open up sonos on my computer. My Sonos music library indicates no selections are available when I open sonos under artists and songs. Sonos is not allowing me access my music library. Yet, my playlist is there and it allows me to play songs. I have large quantity of songs in my music library. So updating my music library now takes 25 to 35 minutes. I had never experienced my music library disappearing for seven years. Now it is a regular occurence.
Hi! After scrolling through a lot of topics on here I see that a lot of people have been having connectivity issues with Apple music. I’ve tried some of the fixes but none have worked for me.Since ‘upgrading’ to the S2 app my amazing Sonos experience has went from 100 to 0, I now can not play any music from Apple music, every time I try I just keep on getting the 701 or 1001 error code. I have rebooted all devices and router - no change, I have re-installed the app on all of my iOS devices - no change, I have factory reset all of my Sonos devices and then re-installed - no change.I also have my Play 5 (1st gen) on the S1 app, this also does not play Apple music.Ideally I’d like all of my speakers on the same app so I could go back to having the amazing experience I had before the S1 and S2 app ‘upgrades’.I have recently added amazon music which works fine on my Sonos setup, Sonos radio also works fine. Only Apple music doesn’t work which is where all of my playlists are.Has anyone h
No problems hooking up the Sonos Play1 speakers or the app on my iPhone. I can listen to podacasts through Tune-in just fine. My problem is I’m trying to share my iTunes folder Music Library on my PC and the Sonos app on my iPhone doesn’t see it. As far as I can tell the folder is being shared successfully. But if I go to the Sonos app on my iPhone and type in “\\MYNEWDELL\iTunes” I get the error “The computer MYNEWDELL cannot be found.” Please help!
Recently, the integration of Sonos and Tidal has been problematic. That is both playing without the dreaded “An error occurred while adding tracks to the Queue (1002)”. This is not a Tidal issue specifically as I can open the Tidal app on my device and play fine. Try later and the problem no longer manifests.I would need to check but this seems to occur frequently during the morning and less later in the day (CET). The problem seems ongoing. To Reproduce:Wake up in morning Open Sonos App Browse to Tidal Album or Playlist Touch Play Watch Spinner For About Three Minutes Error Dialog 1002 appears. Repeat.Note time on screenshots. Tidal is fine and other services such as Mixcloud are fine. Also, as can be seen on the last screen shot, about one hour later everything was fine.
Hi. I have just bought a Sonos SL One.After downloading the app I created a new user account and tried to login. After some thinking, the app says there’s a network problem. It says check the network connection and make sure every product is connected. If you still have issues, check the date - and time preferences on the phone. My neighbour also uses Sonos and he has no problem logging in.All other devices in my home is online so there is no problem with the network. Anyone knows why I get this message? Kind regardsKristian
I have been using my Apple TV with my Samsung TV for years just fine. The Apple TV is about 2 years old and the TV is 6 or 7 years old. The sound on the TV is pretty bad, so I recently connecting my Sonos One to the Apple TV via Airplay. It worked well for one movie. But ever since, I get a HDCP error whenever I try to play a movie or show on Netflix, HBO Max, or Amazon (actually, sometimes I will get volume but a blank screen). YouTube TV and YouTube still work fine. I have disconnected the Sonos One and unplugged it; I have also unplugged the Apple TV, reset it, unplugged the TV, switched the HDMI cord to a different port, changed the HDMI cord entirely, and all variations you could imagine. The problem persists. Just a week ago I was having no problems.. Has anybody encountered this? Any ideas how to fix it?
I have a Mac mini which had the Apple Music (formerly iTunes; I am not referring to the subscription service by the same name which I also have) set up as the Music Library. I had some version of this setup since 2013. My Sonos components are grouped into five zones, two of which are Soundbar, two Play:1 as surround, and Sub; the other three are two stand-alone Play:1, and a Move. All are on 12.2.2 (build 61183220) except the Move which is I note is 12.2.4 (build 61185090), but no updates are available. The Mac mini is running Catalina 10.15.7; it has some security updates but no major updates recently as that is of course now Big Sur, which isn’t supported on the Mac mini I have. The Mac mini’s primary function is as an AV unit so it is connected to a TV, and about two weeks ago while watching something I noticed the Sonos app bouncing, reporting it could not update the Music Library. I then noticed it was doing this every day, with the 2am update presumably having failed. So, I delet
I’ve had Sonos Play:5 (Gen 2) for a few months now and it worked perfectly via Spotify Connect. A couple of days ago I purchased a second Play:5 to create a stereo pair and since then I am unable to play via the Spotify app?I’ve deleted and reconnected Spotify, reset my router etc and it still won’t connect - any ideas?
Hey guys, All my speakers (Sonos One, ARC, Beam) disappeared from my IPhone 12. It is there on my other devices and I can play music via the Sonos app. I just can’t play it from my native phone app. Anyone have an idea of what it is? Sonos support is beyond useless. I never had problems with any of their devices until now. When I need help, they are simply useless.
iTunes 12 playlists copied to NAS- playlists available but all tracks report "unable to play...the share does not exist"
The problem I am having is very similar to a previous thread that is now closed (iTunes 12 playlists issue with NAS - playlists available but all tracks report 'Unable to play' 'cannot be found'). The solutions suggested in the closed thread did not solve my problem. My iTunes (v. 184.108.40.206) library is hosted on my laptop that is running Mojave (v. 10.14.6). I copied the Music folder on my laptop to the NAS server (i.e. a perfect copy) then updated the music library in the Sonos app. I am able to play all the tracks in my Sonos music library so Sonos is able to locate the copied music folder. However, when I select a playlist from the “imported playlists” menu I get the message “unable to play ‘name of song’- the share ‘//ip address/public’ does not exist.” The “public” folder is at the root level of the server whereas the correct path for the playlist is “public/shared music/music/itunes.” This is the same path as on my laptop, and the playlist works fine when played from iTunes on my
When I look for albums by a particular artist, I search on the artist and then select ‘Discography’. For some artists the Discography search brings up only a few albums of their albums, even though many more are available through my music streaming service (Deezer). Although I can find these other albums by making other types of search, I do not understand why the Discography search does not list them. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a fix? Hope you can help.
Hi, I had Amazon Unlimited account which I've now ended. Everytime I now search for music and click on the songs shown I get a message that they are only available through Amazon unlimited. I've deleted Amazon from Sonos, re-linked my account and I'm still getting this issue. Any ideas what else to try?
Good morning, when Google Music went black I changed for a paid subscription with You Tube Music and uploaded my own music. When searching for music in the Sonos S1 app I could choose between Spotify and the music from You Tube Music and my uploads. Since some months You Tube Music doesn’t appear on my searches anymore in the app. The app however tells me that You Tube Music is active in my S1 app. I deleted and restored the You Tube Music connection to my S1 app. , which worked flawless, but whatever I try there is no You Tube Music popping up in my searches!!!!! Please help!!! Many thanks in advance!peter
