Why is the app so slow, i better use spotify to listen
Usually, a ‘slow’ app connection has to do with difficulty with the app, a remote control, reaching the speakers, where the ‘action’ is. This can be due to various issues, including wifi interference , and duplicate IP address issues. I’d recommend that next time you have an issue, you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it.
There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.
When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.
The app is definitely still not right. It is so slow and often has to be coaxed in finding speakers.
