I bought sonos one speakers two years ago and now one of them won’t turn on. No power, not showing up on app, nothing. Any thoughts?
HiCan someone explain to me how a cabled sonos is not green in the matrix? I struggle to understand that.I got 2 products cabled:Spa O Utekök Tv RoomI am running Sonosnet but getting dropouts and that’s why I am looking at the matrix, but if the Spa O Utekök is on a cable, shouldn’t it be Green? Same goes for the Tv Room!!!The one called Uteroom is 1 yard away from the cabled product so that should be green aswell? RegardsLasse
I’ve tried to reconnect to Sonos using the ethernet cable on one speaker and it comes back for a few minutes then goes again…. how can i fix this???
Hii have just replaced my connect amp for the new amp but it does not seem to be able to drive my Tannoy subwoofer? Any ideas?
I cannot add, change or delete any of my alarms. Can anyone help? I'm on S1
I recently had a chat with a rep who told me these are the best settings for your Sonos. I hope that it makes things better for you: a. Auto channel must be set to Offb. Choose best non-overlapping channel (1,6,11)c. Set channel bandwidth to 20MHzd. Both 2.4GHz and 5GHz should be enablede. UPnP should be enabledf. 802.11 band should be set to b/g/ng. Airtime Fairness should be disabled Unfortunately, despite these settings, I can never get my Sonos to reliably stay on the network. The rep told me that my Sonos was showing some signs of inconsistent WiFi signal. But even when it does connect, I get no sound through AirPlay. I get that this might be an airplay problem and not a WiFi or Sonos problem. This is just not the expectation when spending this kind of $$$. I expect it to work. Or I expect it to be an issue where it feels like an active solution is being sought. I gather from forums that Sonos doesn’t really seem to care. I find it personally difficult to ever recommend one of th
you put out an upgrade and I have now lost my apple music. I have tried to reconfigure and gone down so many wormholes and wasted so much time I am about to bin the Sonos experience. I have just removed both Sonos 1 and sonos 2 apps to and I will re load them on my Iphone. It tells me my bridge needs rebooting - which I have done. It asks me to remove Sonos 1 applications which it wont allow me to do……...its never ending.
stuck in a never ending circle - had upgrade to S2 platform but lost Apple music. Tried to remove S1 but still being told Bridge incompatible, all resolution keeps just taking me to your website to buy new hardware! (funny that). Only I dont want to spend more money with you because of this very reason. How do I restore it back to normal - the old saying is if it aint broke dont try and fix it!
Why does the app change my room names every time it updates?
I was using the app tonight (iPhone) and a pop up flashed and I clicked okay. Now, I can only see four of our nine speakers on my app. When my husband opens his app (iPhone) his is showing all nine speakers. What gives? I’ve reinstalled the app. Reset the app but nothing is working.
So this one is a doozy. I have a Sonos connect that I’m trying to get working and I’ve had nothing but problems. I’m on a Unifi network with a USG and managed 48 port switch. Every time I’ve tried to get the sonos connect working with wifi it creates a network storm and the audio just staggers until it’s completely unusable. I have STP enabled at the recommended value and no change. I was told to try to disable wifi and see what happens then. The only way I could actually get the wifi to disable and STAY disabled for longer than a few seconds was to put the connect on an entirely different network, otherwise i would get an error message that said something about the ethernet not being connected. Once i disable the wireless I can then put the connect back on my Unifi network and the network storms are gone and it works reliable, EXCEPT for the fact that now my RCA outputs don’t work. Well, they work but the signal is down near -80dbfs. Totally unusable. The digital toslink wor
HiMy Sonos Move is regularly not visible on my System i.e. it’s not an option on the S2 App. I also have a Sonos Boost installed. The move is an expensive piece of kit and this should not be happening. Please advise, diagnostic number 1564751572 has been submitted.RegardsMatt
Hi Everyone, My sonos system consists of two rooms - 2 play 3’s in one room and a playbar and sub in another room. Everything was working fine until I moved to a mesh setup - Asus RT-AX92U (two of them). I've disabled “airtime fairness” and I’m not using smart connect. I have three different SSIDs and I am trying to use the 2.4 GHz one.I’ve factory reset all speakers and reset my Sonos App on my android. When I try to register one of the speakers it always fails as if it can’t connect to Sonos. I noticed when logging into sonos.com and looking at “System”, I still see my old system. Is that causing issues? Any other known issues with these routers?8.5.2
I’m just about at my wits end here. I recently installed a Deco M5 mesh system in my home. Great wi-fi coverage - but it’s practically killed my Sonos system - 3 Play 1s and 2 Ones. So I’ve been reading about the issues, and have decided to try to create a separate SonosNet system. Here is my configuration -ISP supplied Modem/Router (with wifi turned off); wired to Deco M5 (in Router mode); wired to 5 port switch connected to one of the other Deco M5s for a backhaul channel and the Sonos One speakerThe Sonos One shows up just fine - with WM 0 in the description. It’s when I try to add my other speakers into the mix that I run into problems. I add the first one, and it shows up with WM 1 in the description - connected to the wi-fi network instead of the SonosNet. I turn off the 2.4Gh wireless on the Deco, and it won’t connect to the second speaker at all, it’s only about 15 ft away from the Sonos One. I haven’t tried my luck with any of the other speakers yet, but will shortly a
I saw a post which said that the issue of the alarm chime playing instead of the chosen radio station was resolved. Well… not for me unfortunately. I ran a diagnostic 1091692798 Let me know if you need any other info. CiaoElio
Diagnostic: 1379120434This is part of a larger issue with Sonos Connect and Sonos Boost possibly canceling each other out, but maybe someone can teach me something. I have the Playbar wire connected to the router. There are (2) Play 1 Surrounds wirelessly connected to the Playbar. I have a Play 1: Kitchen + Play 5: Bedroom + Play 1:Other Bedroom connected wirelessly to the router (so I thought). I WOULD LIKE to have my Sonos Connect wire connected to the router, which it is now (see Diagnostic # above). Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. The Boost messes everything up so I unplugged that. I have rebooted, factory reset everything a hundred times to no avail. QUESTION: How come everything is still WM:0? Shouldn’t the Playbar and Connect be WM:1 since they are wire connected to the router?Thinking this is a router issue. Brand new router from Spectrum (Sagemcom - SAC2V2S). Everything started after I replaced the router.
My speaker is blown on my play 5 gen 2. Have had the speaker for just over 15 months. Had a chat conversation on the support site about it. Followed all the reset, hard reset, different services everything. Still sounds terrible. I sent in the video to the support. The response? You can give us $350 more dollars to buy a new one. Because you are 3 months out of warranty. That's a serious answer? It's mind boggling how incredibly awful that is to hear. Thanks to our glorious speaker that blows, you have to buy another one? So I'll be in $850 for a play 5 that lasted 15 months? I can't even fathom buying another speaker that might only last 15 months. My case number is 02254033
I just started using YouTube music and I am getting this error “YouTube Music: Unable to play the selected item.” It has happened twice so far, both times on a song that I uploaded (different songs). One time I was just sliding the progress meter to fast forward within the track. It hosed my Sonos AMP, which became unresposive - could not cause it to play anything from the controller. One time I had to reboot it, the other time I reset my controller and it came back.I am using the S1 controller on Windows 10. My system is on 11.2.2. I have not seen this behavior on Spotify or Google Play Music.Any advice?
I am running my turntable (audio-technica AT-LP120 USB) through a Sonos Connect to join my network but there is hardly any volume on any of my speakers (it is minimal at full volume). I have a Playbar, Playbase and Move. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be? I suspect it’s a setting as the sound is there, just very quiet. Thanks
Setting up Amp with two Sonos one as rear surround speakers. When trying to play music they are visible for a short while an then disappears Living room (?+?) appears instead of Living room (+R+L). No music playing in the rear speaker’s.
Hi there, I'm a long time Sonos user, however recently we've been expericing serious issues with audio skipping and stopping. There's no obvious correlation on source or media type, as it skips whether playing from Sonos app, YouTube music, Alexa and Google Home. Some times music will play completely fine, and other times it will skip after like 15-20 seconds. From a setup pov, I've got a mix of Sonos Play:3 and Symfonisk bookshelf speakers, all connected via WiFi. Home WiFi is a Ubiquiti Unifi network, with 2 AP's and a USG Pro gateway. Internet is an 80/20mbps FTTC service, which isn't heavily loaded. I've just generate a support diagnostics, reference is 1595664835I've checked for firmware updates etc, but all showing as upto date.Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Gavin
I know there’s plenty of threads and I’ve read them all, but none of my fixes have worked. Sound cutting in and out all of a sudden- have had the beam for 6 months and no issue until now. Diagnostic # 135279630. Looking for Sonos support to tell me what’s going on i did recently have some issues with my internet- could it be WiFi related?
All speakers are connected, but this morning none of the services are able to connect. Rebooted router and speakers and still getting error message.
Playbar & sub - audio works with TV, but playbar not appearing in Sonos app for music and can't add. I have unplugged multiple times, and I have also rebooted router, modem, etc. This has happened several times before, but usually unplugging it allows me to add it back on. I removed the sub and I can add that to another room, but not the Playbar room since that doesn’t show up. Diagnostic information 558295547
What is the delay, how does it work and how do you adjust it.
