I bought sonos one speakers two years ago and now one of them won’t turn on. No power, not showing up on app, nothing. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the Sonos community and thanks for reaching out to us. The Sonos One behavior is not normal and I would like to help you out with that.

I would like to recommend the following basic troubleshooting steps to see if it would help.

  • If the Sonos device (not powering on) is plugged into a power strip, can we plug it directly into a power outlet? Do we have any LED light activity on the device?
  • If the Sonos device (not powering on) is plugged into a power outlet can we plug it into a different power outlet that we’re sure has power on it? Do we have any LED light activity on the device?
  • Can we switch the power cable between the two devices and check if the issue stays on the device or follows the power cable?
  • Lastly, We may want to get in touch with our technical support team for a more in-depth troubleshooting step or possible product replacement.

Thanks that worked! Sub isn’t playing (no sound) but shows connected to my bar in app and the light is on, on the speaker. Thoughts?

Thanks for the feedback and immediate response. I would recommend unplugging the Suib from power and plugging it back in after 10-15 secs. Just to give it a little time to refresh its IP-address and network connectivity. I would also like to recommend playing music on the Sonos Soundbar just to check if the issue has been resolved.
