No you are incorrect. It is giving you the state of the wireless signal. Where the speaker is cabled, that just doesn’t matter for the performance of that speaker. And being one metre away does not rule out wireless interference.
Which speakers are dropping out?
What channels are Sonos and your router on?
Is there a switch involved here?
ahhh. I understand. so I shouldn’t worry then about that. Thanks
But the one meter aways speaker is still wierd because there is nothing there that could interfere.
I run the sonosnet channel away from the hous wifi channel so that is taken care of.
switches, yes, but unmanaged so stp shouldn’t be a problem.
it’s the Fireplace left and right I am struggleling with, and they are green! Wierd huh

Yes there is nothing obvious in the matrix to explain that.
Have you reserved IP addresses for Sonos in your router? That and a full reboot sometimes helps.
Is your WiFi channel width 20MHz? You don't want 40 or Auto.
