Hi, Wondering if you could assist, my Sonos One speakers are attached to my Sonos Beam for the surround sound. Recently my left Sonos One has started to crackle / static sound when TV is muted or switched off.I have repositioned the speaker and re-tuned it several times but it has not solved the issue.I have run diagnostics with the reference: 528283216
So I dove in and bought my first Sonos product this year and in July I picked up my Five. I have loved this speaker these past 3 months, but recently a couple of songs I’ve been listening to, I have noticed a rattling type sound, and I think it’s with certain bass frequencies. The rattle is like the casing/ housing is shaking. On my five, I use a flat EQ, all zeroes, I have setup the Trueplay and I prefer Loudness on.the 2 sounds I’ve noticed it on are:Deftones - Passenger (Mike Shinoda Remix)Kalley - Alabaster Heartboth through the Spotify service, selected through the Sonos V2 app. Also I don’t usually get higher than 50% on the volume, and I use the speaker alone in the horizontal position. Anybody have a similar experience, or have suggestions to change settings? Is the thing damaged/ can it be fixed? Really hope to fix this issue, since I have already ordered my next product, a Sonos refurbished Playbar is on the way from Beat Buy.
For the past year or so, I have been using the symphonysk to act as a bridge allowing me to “Airplay” from apple tv to my sonos connect (series 1, not airplay 2 compatible) - This has worked great, until recently. I don’t know if it was the latest apple tv update or latest Sonos update, but now the symphonysk does not show up as an audio output option on the apple tv. What to do? I tried resetting the apple tv to its factory settings, but still no luck, so I’m guessing it’s on the sonos side. Any help would be appreciated
This app has worked fine but now it won’t connect to wifi. All other devices in the house are working fine. I've already tried rebooting the modem and router. my diagnostics number is 1907488341. Thank you for your help!
Hi all, help please! I have a Play Bar, Sub, and 2 x Ones (Gen 2). My play bar and sub are connected to my Samsung QLED. My ones were connected via wifi. Happy days. I could also use Amazon Music and Alexa with it. Now, I have a new router; a 3 Broadband Router (Huawie) much faster than Sky. A breeze I thought to reconnect everything as it was. Well, it hasn’t gone according to plan! Only the play bar is working (I suspect only because it’s p,ugh Ed directly into the TV) I cannot get the sub nor the ones to connect to the new router even with the Ethernet cable. Clearly I’m doing something wrong but I’ve followed the advice to the letter and still nothing. Any advice please?
Ever since I upgraded IOS devices to 14.2, Pandora has become unusable. Songs not found, cannot play errors, lack of continuous play, glitchy connectivity.Spotify works fine.Am using the current version of S@ and have restarted speakers, phones, and IOS devices, no change.please help!
This issue has happened many times before until it randomly goes away but I’ve never been able to fix it. Streaming the song from my phone’s storage.
For all that is holy, bring back the ability to reboot a Sonos device via a web browser. Left stereo paired Sonos Play:1 plays sound. Right stereo paired Sonos Play:1 is silent. The only thing that fixed the right stereo paired Sonos Play:1 was to power cycle the Sonos Connect. Shouldn't need to schlep across the house to unplug a power cable, and spend an eternity trying to plug it back in, when the device is already connected to the network. Let me reboot it from my computer. Let me reboot it from my tablet. Do I really need to buy a WeMo outlet to accomplish this? Setup... Router -> (ethernet) Sonos Connect -> (SonosNet) 2 - Sonos Play:1s (stereo paired)
Howdy all, signed up for the new Sonos HD radio and ever since all of the stations cut in an out. The speakers can’t seem to keep a connection. There’s also an error that says the song is not in coded properly once in a while. This only happens with Sonos HD radio. Pandora iTunes and Spotify etc. are all fine. Any tips or tricks that I’m on aware of to make the speakers work better with HD radio? I tested the bandwidth on the wireless that the speakers are connected to and it gets a good 250 Mb.
Hi, I posted this a year ago, and was asked to submit diagnostics: “I have 4 play:1 speakers set up as two stereo pairs in different rooms. One of the units has started putting out a 1-2 second buzzing or whirring noise while not in use. I am having a quiet afternoon watching cricket and football and have heard the noise 4 times. Unplugging and restarting makes no difference.” However, the noise went away so I did not submit. Today I have been sat next to the speaker and heard it maybe a dozen times while no part of my sonos system is actually in use. It is the LH speaker of a stereo pair connected to a Beam. Can I submit a diagnostic? thanks, Alan
For about a month now none of us in the house have been able to connect to our Play:3. Followed the advice about rebooting router, deleting and reinstalling the App, but nothing works. Have tried to connect and play via Android, IOS and OS, but no luck. Unhappy and unimpressed, so anyone able to help will be a star.
Hi all, I installed my new Sonos One and One SL in the app (S2). But the app shows just one at the time (at products), so I can’t pair them. In Spotify I can choose one or the other as a device, but I can’t play them at the same time.If I disconnect one of the two and (re-)install the other, then that one will show up. But the other doesn’t appear anymore.Things I’ve tried so far (multiple times):Reinstall both speakers (short + long reset) Restart modem Reinstall the app Log out/inHopefully there’s someone who can help me, cause this is very frustrating.
Hi,All of the sudden my system doesn’t work without being connected by eithernet cable. I have gone thru the process of adding my wifi network again and then the system says I can disconnect the ethernet cable from the product but when I do the system disappears / disconnects from my iPhone app and says “unable to connect to Sonos” . when I reconnect the ethernet cable the system comes back. everything has been working fine for years. All products are OS S2 - any suggestions please? Thanks. Trev
I picked up a Boost to replace my Play:3 I had wired into my router. I don’t need a speaker in the room my router is in, so I figured I’d buy the one thing that is designed specifically to create a strong Sonosnet network.Well, it’s horrible. It can’t handle the audio from my turntable for more than 5 seconds without crapping out.Previously with the Play:3 connected to the router, I got zero drop outs, even while sending the audio to all 6 speakers throughout the house. Rock solid. The boost was in the exact same place the Play:3 was when testing it.What am I missing here? For the record my system is:Turntable audio into a Port. Play:3 Ethernet to router. Then I have a Play:5 gen 2 one room away, paired Play:1s two rooms away, a Move about the same distance, and then a Play:1 all the way at the end of the house. No dropouts anywhere when the Play:3 is wired. Diagnostic code: 1808594896
We have 6 Sonos speakers: Three Play: Ones and three Sonos Ones. Using S2 app. 3 of the speakers work. 3 say they need to be updated but we get stuck in error 30. We have tried:deleting and reinstalling the appturning them off and onrebooting the routerplugging them directly into the routerFactory resetting them all We spoke with Sonos support for an hour today and got nowhere because they kept telling us to repeat the steps we’ve already done. We feel like we are stuck with really expensive doorstops. Please help before I throw them all away. I would return them to Costco, but the only 3 that work came from there.
Hi!My parents have a Sonos home theater system and have lost access to their account. The Sonos account was linked to a company email address but my dad retired in May and lost access to the email account. They also forgot their password to the Sonos account but because of the email change they have no way to recover the password. Now there is an issue with a speaker that requires a reset but they can’t access the rest of the speakers through the app which are on the old account. Is there a way to merge the account with the old or will we need to reset all speakers and add them to the new account? Thanks!
Connect:Amp audio cuts out for 10-15 seconds about once a day.Diagnostics sent - Conf #682138766I’ve seen other questions similar to mine, but I can add that this issue started immediately after the update to S2. I have 4 Connect:Amps in my setup, and I only notice this consistently on one - “Lv Rm/Kitchen”. I don’t know if this is happening on other Connect:Amps or other devices, because this is the zone we use every day. I don’t see the problem on the PlayBar/Sub or Play5 which are used quite a bit. The PlayBar/Sub mainly use the optical input from TV.After the S2 update, I had a lot of problems with audio cutting out, pausing, and difficulty with grouping taking a while or not working. Then after a software update, most of the issues went away. But about once a day (we have music playing on this device 3-4 hours a day) the audio just cuts out for about 10-15 seconds and comes back on with no interaction from me. I can’t even catch it in time to look at the app or the device t
There is a significant difference in volume when switching from TV to music on my Beam. The TV becomes way to loud when switching over to music. Have to remember to turn down the volume when switching over. Is there any way to adjust this so the volume is the same for both. I have the TV on fixed volume. It’s about a 5 year old Visio. I am using the IR Port on the Beam. I used the ARC HDMI port on the other TV and the Beam volume was very even.
Hi, since a number of months, I’m experiencing intermittent connection problems with my Sonos system. We are primarily using TuneIn radio to stream music. Some time ago, I already added a Sonos Boost in an attempt to resolve the issue, but this did not resolve the issue.I already ran a diagnostics report (see below). I would appreciate some help on this matter.Submit support diagnostics Your diagnostic information was sent. Your confirmation number is: 845083004.Best regards,Yves
6 Sonos One speakers, 1 Sonos 5. Sonos 1 app and Sonos 2 app on 2 ipads, iphone Imac. There started to be problems about 3 weeks ago with the music being dropped after 1-3 songs played. Now it doesn’t work at all. Speak multiple hours on the phone with tech. Turning systems and computers on and off, wifi on and off, sending reports, all kinds of stuff. But I still have a system that doesn’t work. Why? No one cam tell me. Is it worth that price I paid? No, not at all. Better to have an old fashion wired system that just plain works. And plays out of better quality speakers. And doesn’t have tech glitches that no one can figure out. If anyone has a suggestion, let me know. Otherwise ( and maybe ANYWAY), I need to dump the Sonos system for something that works.
I brought sonos 5 in US and moved to India few years back. My Sonos 5 is not working now a days and getting buzz sound. Is there any way I can get it service in India? I called Indian customer support, however, got automatic voice message that service center is not functional Can anyone help me to fix my Sonos?
According to the support site at https://support.sonos.com/s/article/79?language=en_US ; the Sonos system supports FLAC up to 1536kbps: However, when attempting to play a FLAC 192kbps on Sonos ARC, the following error message appear on the latest Sonos player “Unable to play ‘Soundfile”- it is encoded at unsupported sample rate 192000 Hz”.Same problem with another FLAC at 176400 Hz. Anyone has seen this problem? Thanks!
hi,My amp sync with the tv is lost since last week and they won’t sync anymore. since I bought the amp 6 months ago, it had no problem synching with the tv via hdmi arc.I just hooked hdmi cable from the tv arc exit to the hdmi port on the amp and bam, it worked.not anymore :(since it stopped playing tv audio last week, I tried a few simple actions to fix it and bring the amp to play the tv sound back again,a. I tried to use a different hdmi cableb. I reset the amp and hooked it back to my system.c. I connected an apple tv to the arc/hdmi-2 input on my tv , just to make sure that the hdmi connector on the tv is ok and operational , and it did work fine (the arc port on the tv works both as an arc channel and as an output hdmi channel)help needed :)
I have a family room with a Playbar, 2 Sonos One’s and a sub. My other room can be found on the app, but my collection in the family room disappeared. The playbar receives sound from the tv. All have been rebooted and show a white light, but still no link to app. Please help! Thanks.
Hi all, So sorry for the repeat question but as I have another problem as well I thought it might be best to ask it separately. Basically, I do get the bandwidth insufficient error but also when I don't get that if I connect more than 2 play:1 speakers to a sonos boost it again goes off. Basically 2 boosts are connected with wire to the sonos system and then each of the boosters are supposed to support 3 speakers on each floor separately. My diagnosis number is 799501210. Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
