I am now experiencing the ARC sound cutting out. It will last about 3 seconds, then it reverts to the Samsung TV speaker. Every time I reset and disconnect, it will do the same thing. Need help to get this up and running again.
Hello,I got the Sonos Port and the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable delivered today and I am struggling to connect them to my existing speakers. When I try to play music from the vinyl via the Port, I only get static sounds/crackling with no music. Port connected to my existing Sonos speakers with no issues, I used the default setting on the turntable, followed the setup process and no luck.I tried both Sonos and Pro-Ject cables to connect the record player to Port and looked here in other threads without success. When I try to play music from Spotify as per usual, everything works fine. The turntable is working as I can hear the very slight music coming from where the needle meets the vinyl.Would anyone be able to help?
Hi, When I try to play more than 2-3 rooms with Sonos S2, the playback constantly cuts in and out… I’m using Sonosnet. Talking to Sonos CS, he says I need to get Sonosnet on it’s own clean 2.4 channel. It doesn’t appear that my AmpliFi AP can do that.
Hi In recent months when I listen to BBC Radio 2 or London Gold it regularly flips and repeats itself. This happens a few times every hour and becomes extremely annoying. I reported this problem to Sonos and they said reboot my Router. However, this becomes inpracticable as it happens more than once an hour. Does anyone else have experience of this issue?
Hi all, I’m experiencing unstable playback with slow response (via app) from a group and common delay with some speakers and others not. The specific group includes these products: boost, play3, play1, play5, One SL and Connect:Amp. I’m using Tidal HiFi. The issue has gotten more common recently. Would be wonderful to hear ideas on what could cause this:-)Diagnosis submitted: 1506863163Thanks, Arnt
I've spent 3 days trying to get my playbar, sub, and 2 play-3 speakers set up and it keeps saying the WiFi password is incorrect even when I copy-paste from the router settings. It accepts the range extender network password, which is the same as the other one, but then tells me I can't use the speakers without the Boost. So now I'm stuck with thousands of dollars of speakers that don't work. I've tried changing the network password, deleting and reinstalling the app, resetting the speakers. I've tried plugging a speaker into the router but then the app doesn't even find it when searching for speakers to set up. Can anyone suggest something else to try?
Hi Sonos community. My iphone only connects to sonos about 20% of the time. The rest of the time is says “Unable to connect to Sonos product”.I’ve tried resetting the app, restarting my router, switching all router traffic to 2.4GHz, re-installing sonos app on phone, setting the iphone ‘local network’ on, restarting my phone. The thing I really don’t understand is my wife’s android phone has no trouble connecting to Sonos - works 100% of the time. It seems to be a problem with the iphone only (iphone 11, ios14.2)Any ideas wd be very much appreciated!
I currently have a Sonos Playbase and a Sonos Sub. They were both connected to my Wifi in the past however there was one day when they were just disconnected from the Wifi. The Playbase is now connected to the router through Ethernet cable while the Sub is unable to be connected. When I try taking out the Ethernet cable, my Sonos app is unable to find either the Playbase or the Sub. With the Ethernet cable connected to the Playbase, I am unable to connect it to the Wifi as the error "Incorrect Password" keeps showing up. To note:1. I am definitely keying in the correct password.2. My router 802.11 mode is mixed 802.11a/n/ac.My wifi should be compatible with the Sonos products. I would like to enquire what I am able to do to reconnect both my Playbase and Sub to my wifi. As of now my Sub is unable to be used while my Playbase can only be used with an ethernet cable as I do not have sufficient ports on my router. I have already tried factory resetting both my products yet the issue still
The Playbar is working with music services, but not with the TV. I’ve tried unplugging TV, Playbar and receiver. On the Sonos System Info in the app, the Playbar has nothing next to it. The optical cable seems to be good with red lights coming out of TV and Playbar. (Should optical cable go to receiver rather than TV?)On the receiver, when I do a setup, searching in vain for some setting, the cable TV sound comes on when I get to sound settings, but disappears when I move to the next setting. It was working fine but quit working when I did a system update on the Onkyo receiver My diagnostics is 246167946
We have had the Sonos System for over a year now, and within the last 4 months the DVD player has begun cutting out periodically before coming back on. It only happens while playing DVDs, no other sources are affected. I have scoured the help section and tried most of the fixes I saw there, with no luck so far. It is a Sony Blueray/DVD player, playing DVDs, connected to a Beam, Sub, and 2 One Sls. The Beam and Sub are connected via Ethernet. I sent a diagnostic earlier, 178377687. It just cut out again while I was typing so I sent another as well, 1816949457.
Diagnostics submitted. 1012007798 This started about 3 weeks ago and will work on occasion but lately Apple Music will not show up when i search for anything: artist, album, song, etc.
I recently upgraded ROKU from premier to ULTRA. I’ve noticed that neither of my surround ONESL speakers work anymore. Is this a common issue? Setting adjustment? Thanks!
I just installed my Sonos One SL for my kitchen and the sound quality is extremely poor. It is very tinny and sounds like the speaker is using less than 5% of its total capacity. I have a One SL and a Beam in my living room and the sound is excellent. This is incomparable and clearly broken or faulty. I have tried returning to factory setting and reinstalling software but no luck. Wondering if the speaker simply arrived faulty ? Any suggestions ?
My sonos 1 doesn’t connect since I moved home tried to reset and set up temp connection etc but still not working any help appreciated as it’s pretty much useless just now many thanks
I can control volume on Sonos One, One SL and Port from Sonos app but not the Move???!
I have a Sonos Beam and two Sonos Ones, connected wirelessly through my 2nd Generation Apple Airport Express with the latest firmware installed. This setup has worked just fine until recently, when I upgraded to Sonos S2 and got a new cable modem. Now, when I launch the S2 app on iOS 14, it says that I’m “Unable to connect to Sonos” and Alexa and Spotify (the only two services I’ve connected to Sonos through the app) doesn’t work. I have enabled access to the “Local Network” under the iOS 14 Privacy settings, and I’ve also completely reset my Sonos speakers to factory settings to no avail. The only thing that seems to temporarily work, is rebooting my Airport Express router. When I do that, I can access everything just fine through the Sonos S2 app, and can use Alexa and stream Spotify with no issues. But after a variable amount of time, it just stops working. I have no clue what the issue is, but has anyone else come across this/found a fix for it?
Hi All, I was happily watching my TV last night when all of sudden my Playbase turned itself off. I’ve tried to reconnect the power cable securely and have tested multiple power sockets but to no avail, the unit will just not turn back on again. Has anyone else come across this and/or know how to fix it? I’m guessing the power unit inside the unit may have failed so might have to send it off to be repaired. Any help greatly appreciated as I’m currently set up for 5.1 surround sound in my living room and without the Playbase the rest are pretty useless! Thanks.
Hi, i have a problem.!!! Recently one of my Sonia the one I have in the bathroom won’t play when I group all the rest of them! I can play separate music in the bathroom, and on the other 3 I can play same. But it don’t want to be grouped with the bathroom. How to fix?
My Sonos Connect amps - I have 2 - won’t power on. Is there a hard reset somewhere or something that could have burned out and needs to be replaced? One is about a year old, the other 3.It’s eerily quiet these days! Thanks for the help and suggestions.
My Sonos One has suddenly started requesting a password for AirPlay. I also have a Symphonisk on the same network which is working fine (not requesting a password). Previously for several months both have been working fine, including airplay with no password. Recently I bought a HomePod mini which is on the same network - that’s the only recent change I know of. Now I can airplay to the Symphonisk or the HomePod mini but when I try to airplay to the Sonos One, from any of our Apple devices (all of which previously worked fine), it requests a password. To summarise: Symphonisk, HomePod mini, Sonos One on the network. Several iPhones in use across the family. Everything works fine except when any iPhone tries to airplay to the Sonos One, it needs a password. What do I do?
Hello I have a Sonos Play 5 version 1 here. I have already changed the PWM only the diode or transistor with the code F2 is defective. Does anyone have any idea what it is? I also do not find a correct example circuit on the internet to possibly find out for myself. Ciao Stephan
Hi there, I have this recurring seemingly random issue with my system where at random the system drops all except the one speaker connected to the router from the app. This seems to happen randomly when everything been be good for a week but then the issue can already over night. No amount of switching the router is and on our the speakers off and on seems to make them reappear on the app. Devices seem to reappear at random after an indeterminate period of time. Today it's been 8 hours since I observed the issue and they're still.not backDevices1x play5 gen23 x play:1 ( one of these is connected to the router)1x arc
I am having with S2 and an iPhone 12 pro with iOS 14.3. The issue I am having is that when I leave S2 open the notification sound for text messages and when I close the phone are extremely low, barely audible. The is no issue with the notification sound for the phone. When I close S2 (remove from memory) the sounds for text messages and when I close the phone are normal.
Help. After many years of near faultless operation of my system I am suddenly having real issues. The only changes I have made recently are to upgrade to a new BT Smart Hub 2 and add a secondhand Play 5 Gen 1. Two weeks later my problems started. First certain units started cutting out and then would suddenly kick in again. Then I noticed some products disappeared from the app. I have noticed on the app that after the volume disappears it looks like the signal is still being received (Radio) and then that stops too. I have tried a router reboot, disconnecting power to products and tried to reset the system. I now have all products showing in the app but still get cut outs of volume. My whole system is hardwired.Any ideas welcome please.
Hi all,I recently purchase a new router D-Link DIR-X1560 with WiFi 6 function. I set it up smoothly, and all the speaks (2x ONE and SYMFONISK) can be found and given IP address from the router setting App.When I tired to play music through spotify, music often stopped for a few minutes played, and Sonos app often shown “Unable to connected to Sonos”. I am wondering this is due to the router can automatically switches between 2.4 and 5 GHz. I turned off this function and separated 2.4 and 5 GHz as different SSID/Pw, but it doesn't seem working. I am wondering is any extra setting for router that I can solve this problem, eg, DHCP, Vlan Bridge, etc.? Thanks,
