Troubleshooting Pro-Ject T1 and Sonos Port - no music, just static sound

Hello,

I got the Sonos Port and the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB Turntable delivered today and I am struggling to connect them to my existing speakers.

When I try to play music from the vinyl via the Port, I only get static sounds/crackling with no music. Port connected to my existing Sonos speakers with no issues, I used the default setting on the turntable, followed the setup process and no luck.I tried both Sonos and Pro-Ject cables to connect the record player to Port and looked here in other threads without success. When I try to play music from Spotify as per usual, everything works fine. The turntable is working as I can hear the very slight music coming from where the needle meets the vinyl.

Would anyone be able to help?

I’ve just done that and it worked, thank you so much! I must have misunderstood the turntable instructions and my earlier attempt at playing with the settings clearly did not work. Thank you again!
