I have a Sonos Move that I have been using with Aiplay 2 via my iMac for several months with no issues. Yesterday it stopped connecting or playing via Airplay. It shows up in the Airplay menu, with a checkmark, but no sound comes through the move. Other Airplay devices, Homepods, are working. I can connect via Bluetooth with my phone and that works fine. I have reset as new, updated firmware, reconnected to the WiFi network, but it still won’t play.
We run a sonos system with different players but without bridge. Excellent wireless network. But we loose every few minutes the contact to the radio stations. The duration of loss and the intervall of loass is never the same. Our internet connection is via fibre and stable. A restart of the controller did not help. Software is said to be updated.
Hi,Myself and my partner have a Sonos beam and 2 Sonos 1 speakers setup in our living room, the Sonos account under my partners email. We both have the Sonos app on our phones, both signed in under his account. Everything has been working fine, both of us able to control Sonos either using the voice command or selecting songs through the app on our phones until 24 hours ago when suddenly I tried accessing the account on my phone and the account, system, services & voice options were greyed out. I was also getting the error message “unable to connect to Sonos”. What’s weird is that my partners app was working completely fine with no connection issues. We have tried unplugging our router, switching off our Sonos products at the plug, even doing a factory reset and yet are still having the same issue. What’s weird is that now we have reset it all up through my phone it’s now working fine but now my partner is having the same issue on his phone ie. the above options greyed out getting
I recently bought a new wifi router/access point an ASUS RT-AC88U Once I switched over to it I found that I had sporadic access to my Sonos speakers (Play 3, Playbar + Sub). Sometimes I could connect to the speakers, sometimes I couldn't. When I could connect I'd sometimes be able to see all the rooms and other times only 1. I played with a bunch of wifi settings and finally tracked down the culprit. Wireless menu >> Professional Tab >> Airtime Fairness This setting is enabled by default. When I disabled it my access to my Sonos was restored to it's former fully functioning glory.
I just received a Sonos 5. I used to have my turntable running into my gen 1 connect amp. It successfully streamed to all my other Sonos speakers in the house using the Sonos 1 app. Now that I have replaced the connect amp with the Sonos 5 and upgraded the system to the sonos 2 app I’m unable to stream the turntable to the other speakers unless I have the Sonos 5 plugged directly into the router. Any thoughts on this.
Hi, approx 2 months ago I started having issues with Spotify connect. I am no longer able to play directly from Spotify app. Most of the time when in Spotify app, I can see all my Sonos speakers as available but when trying to choose either one of them I get:error saying that Spotify is not active on this device and music is still being played on my pc or phone nothing is happening it switches to Sonos speaker and shows that the music is playing but there is no sound coming from actual speaker and at the same time Sonos app shows that nothing is being played also on Sonos app I am getting errors like: the connection to Spotify was lost.I swear I have tried all suggestions I have found here including shutting down router/sonos speakers/laptops/phones and bringing back in correct order in case there’s wifi noise (all my devices are using 2.4gh), logging in and out, reinstalling, pretty much everything but factory reset for my speakers. Can’t be more frustrated now because nothing helps.
Both my amp (for built in speakers) and my playbar can be played individually from the s2 app. However they cannot be grouped together. I ran diagnostics and the associated number is 2060087850.
When I play music through my surround sound it cuts out. I have isolated it to my play bar. (Television works fine.) I have rebooted, tried it connected to eathernet and on wifi. Problem is consistently the same. I changed router settings as per sonos and it is still doing it. All other sonos speakers are fine. Any ideas?Case 02573886

I am unable to view any purchased content from my Bandcamp account. I completed the authorisation and Bandcamp appears in Sonos but says 'no selection available' when I select any of the categories. I have submitted a diagnostic report - 1320941429
Hi, I have Sonos Play 5 Gen 2. Speaker does not power on. After closer inspection I found that mosfet (65E6600) is shorted and with it blew R108, R106 D3, R12 components. Could someone share if anyone had experience with this issue? Also could someone be kind enough to provide values for these components?
I have a Sonos system with the following components. The Beam, a Sub and two SL one units. Starting this past week the system drops connection from the network. It’s usually only once first thing in the day. When I look at the Sonos App it says it can’t find the Sonos system. Sometimes restarting the Beam fixes the issue. Sometimes not, but if I wait long enough it does reconnect. The system is currently connected with Wifi. I was thinking of hardwiring the Beam to the network because there is a drop next to it but I have to keep the sub and SL One units on wifi. When I hardwire the Beam it does not see the rest of the components. Is it possible to configure a mixed Wifi and hardwired system or do they all need to connect to the network the same way? What could possibly be causing the system to disconnect from the network? My Wifi is the Google Nest Mesh with the main router and one Point. The Point is in the same room as the Sonos system.
Hello everyone! Hopefully someone can help me, I have to constantly close and open the app on my iPhone to connect to my system, then once connected I can pick one song and then after that it disconnects again and I can’t pick anymore. It will then connect again after about 3-4 mins. Very very frustrating. Anyone have any idea’s?
When unboxing my new Sub Gen 3 I noticed the back plate of it creaks under very little pressure. Is this normal / will it affect the sound or should it be returned/exchanged?

I have a hybrid S1 & S2 system along with the old Sonos Bridge. I have very good Internet speed, i.e. gigabit service, and fairly good WiFi, AT&T combination router & modem and 1 booster device. Bonjour, Je viens de retrancher ma playbar après 2 mois et j entends un sifflement venant du côté gauche.J ai fait un reset, essayé une autre prise mais ça ne change rien.Avez vous une idée du problème?Merci
I have to single out the Connect Amp to start playing music and then add/group all the other speakers in order to play music, otherwise I receive an error message “unable to add music to the queue.” Sonos Support could only see the Connect Amp as connected to Wifi and we have not been able to solve the issue despite lots of troubleshooting. Anyone else have this issue? When I single out the two speakers connected through the Connect Amp and select the desired music before grouping the remainder of the speakers, everything works fine.
Using S1 iOS app and unable to add long playlist to queue. Cleared pre-existing songs from queue.
Hi I have a problem of late where our main zone connect amp randomly starts playing a completely random spotify song. Reading some other topics it seems like a rogue control device is the likely culprit, so Im trying to find out which one!It just happened very recently and I sent a diagnostic file through straight away - number 799321881 - the random play will have been the last thing that played . Can any of the spotify reps who frequent the forums take a look at it for me and shed any light on the issue. Thanks heaps Barry
Since the last update to my Play One and S2app, I can no longer adjust the music on any alarms, new or existing.i have a series of Alarms with music defined, that leverages Tidal. I change the music every now and again to reflect what I’m currently listening to.Alarms with existing tracks/albums/playlists chosen from Tidal work as expected. if I try and create a new alarm, I can’t choose music from tidal. I see the top level categories (Artists, Albums, etc), but can’t browse them, the app selects the category instead. If I try and create an alarm using another service (amazon prime for example) I can browse fine. From within the main music part of the application, I can browse Tidal as usual and can play music directly. There seems to be a bug/regression or similar that has broken the browsing function within the alarm, but only for tidal. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app,,to no avail. Any ideas? Thanks Dan
Hi - I have a Sonos Playbase with 2 X Playbase 1 as surround. The Playbase has dropped connectivity and will not re-connect. When I try to re-connect, the apps states press the “Figure 8” when you hear the chimes, but the chime is literally a nano second, unlike before and nothing happens. There has been no change to my network. When I managed to get it connected briefly earlier, the moment you adjusted the volume the connectivity would drop. Thanks,R
