Can you group Sonos Ones in stereo with Sonos Beam Sound bar?

I have a new Sonos One (2nd Gen) Ethernet connected and an Amazon FireTV Cube (2nd Gen) also Ethernet connected.  Both are connected to the same hub (and hence - the same router).  I can control the Sonos One from my FireTV Cube.  I also have an Ethernet connected AppleTV (3rd Gen) which can drive the Sonos Sound via Airplay 2.What I want:  FireTV sound to be heard from the Sonos One.I don’t know if this can be supported.  I have heard that BlueTooth is a possible mechanism, although I don’t see much talk of how to configure that on this site. Anyone else with this request?

Considering buying a Sonos Arc to go with new TV. Only Sonos we have is a Sonos One speaker in lounge which we use with Spotify & Amazon Music. We use a Amazon Echo dot 3rd gen to control it, works better than Sonos mic. The Sonos one will be put in another room. Can we still use the echo dot to control the Arc. Yes I know the arc has a mic, but the echo dot by were we sit works great. I may add a Sonos sub later on next year,before it gets mentioned we are not interested in surround sound at all. I'm buying this online as no Sonos dealers near us. Any help or advice appreciated.

And I see here that in 2018, 2 + years ago, SONOs was working on a fix.  Anyone know the status of the FIX?  Thanks.

All, I got a new LG TV 65inch AI Thin Q 2020 and just connected my Sonos Beam speakers which worked well with an older version of LG TV we had. I am able to connect Sonos to TV using the app setup and simpInk is turned on. However, I don’t have any sound output from TV to Sonos speakers. I have followed all possible comments from the forum but without luck and it’s getting really frustrating. Does anyone have an idea why this is happening and what can I do to get the speakers working with my LG TV. Thanks.

I have several Sonos products including a pair of Play 1s with which I am happy.   If I want to include voice control what do I have to do ?   

I have had 2 Play:1 speakers for a while and have been controlling them with an Echo Dot. I added a Sonos One and decided to move to all Google Home devices after reading Sonos finally integrated with Google.  I added the Google Assistant as a Voice Service in the Sonos app. The Sonos One now answers to ‘hey Google’ and all 3 of my Sonos speakers showed up in the Google Home app. I can get music to play from Amazon on any of my Sonos devices using the Sonos One or any Google Home device. However I cannot get music to play from Spotify (the default). It says ‘sure’ and ‘here you go’ but nothing happens. I called Sonos and was told there was currently a known issue but not seeing anything on https://status.sonos.com/ Anyone have any suggestions?    

Hello, i have a Sonos Beam with Amazon Alexa and i have a problem that my girlfriend has to say “Alexa” four-times etc to get recognized. I dont think that she says it wrong, it seems that Alexa just not recognized her voice? Is it possible? I wanted to create voice profiles for me and her but on Beam it is not working, neither on iPhone or iPad through Alexa App.Can you tell me what we are doing wrong? 

I have a Sonos beam and use Google home, since we got the beam about 13 months ago I have used Broadcast on the beam to send and receive broadcasts. Until this week I swapped my router and broadcasts stop sending, I get the ‘No other speakers connected on your network’ message.I can receive broadcasts still and play music on every other speaker even when requested via the beam. Contacted Sonos who eventually said the feature is not available on the beam, despite a yard of it working! Tried my broadband provider and Google who both said it’s a Sonos issue...obviously!!! Still Sonos deny it’s their issue.…Time to look for another speaker system I think

Just wondering whether there’s any advancement / tricks / hacks (I’m pretty computer savvy) for getting Sonos to play music from the local library via a voice assistant…. I know that if I already have items queued that it can play that you. That’s not what I’m after. I want to be able to say, “Alexa, play Michael Jackson on Sonos!” and it’ll play any Michael Jackson tracks in my local music library. Any ideas….? Thanks

When I ask GA to increase volume indeed increases it. But only by 1%, which is not perceivable at all. So if I wanted to go from 20% to 30% I would need to ask it 10 times! This should be much more rapid, like 0% (muted), 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% or even 0, 5%, 10%, 20% etc. Similarly If I ask GA to “Set volume to 5”, it sets it to 5%, not 50%. Is it a recent bug, something that will get fixed soon or Sonos feature? 

How do I disable the mic on the Sonos Arc.  I do not want to allow it to ever listen to me or anything.  Specific instructions please.  Thanks so much!

I have programmed the ‘Goodnight Google’ command to turn my bedroom lights off, and to run some ambient background music until I fall asleep. That all sounds lovely, doesn’t it?I thought so, too. However since I bought my Sonos One to replace my Google Home, when the ambient music (chirping crickets in a field, for anyone interested) finishes an hour or two later, usually in the middle of REM sleep, the Google Assistant suddenly screams “I’m sorry, I don’t understand!”, waking me up in the middle of the night, only for me to go through the entire process again if I make the mistake of using the ‘Goodnight Google’ command. It might make sense if I had asked Google to do something, but I’m usually unconscious, and my cats don’t speak English (that I know of. I have seen Dolittle - terrible movie, don’t bother - but it’s a work of fiction after all. Isn’t it? Cat’s cant really talk to Google, can they?). HiI'm having a series of issues with radio streaming on Sonos One when using the Alexa voice integration. Via Sonos app it is seamless.In all scenarios I have done the basics (disabled and enabled the skills, I've even factory reset the Sonos, removed Alexa integration, relinked amazon accounts etc...)Firstly, iheartradio just plain doesn't work. Ie skill is enabled but if I ask Alexa to play something on iheartradio then nothing happens.Secondly, if using radio app as the default it now works, but if I leave the radio running for a period of time (I haven't tested, but let's say at least an hour) I can't stop the music via Alexa anymore (ie "Alexa, stop music" doesn't work. I now have to go into Sonos app and stop it.I appreciate there are know issues all over the place. But has anyone who has experienced these type of issues found a seamless way to stream (and stop streaming!) Radio that works 99% of the time using Alexa on Sonos One?Thanks Greg

Hi everyone,I have recently upgraded to Arc from Beam. I am having an hard time (also, with my wife...) as the new model does not recognize my wife voice with google assistant. What makes me nut is the following:if we switch to Alexa, no issue (but my kid can not say “Alexa” and on Sonos is not possible to change the wake up phrase...) google assistant wakes up when my wife speaks, but then it does not go further on the google mini/home we have in other rooms there are no issues (and there were not also with the Beam) I have deselect “personal results” in google assistant, even if it should not be relevantFinally, I have in any case seen a degradation in the microphones sensitivity. A few specific titles are not recognized properly (when I speak) but were by the Beam and are by the other google device I have The system language is ItalianPS: I am “curious” to see if Arc will recognize other people beside me, but we are in lockdown now and I can not invite guests to try, for now... guys

I am going to buy either a Move or a Five as my first Sonos speaker. but eventually plan on having several.  It appears that both will allow me to set up my Dot or Mini with my Spotify account so that I can just say to the Dot or Mini play x and the music will come from my Sonos speaker (i.e., the Sonos will be my default speaker). Am I correct in this?I also would like the Dot or Mini to respond through my Sonos speaker for all responses.  For example, if I ask what the temperature is, it would respond through the Sonos speaker.  It appears neither the Dot nor the Mini will do that, but it is hard to be sure from reading/viewing reviews.  Will all responses for the Dot or Mini be able to come from the Sonos speaker?Given those criteria which would do what I want, the Dot or the Mini?  Am I correct in assuming that both the Move and the Five would work the same via WiFi?

I will have the TV audio on my arc, ones, etc. and change to Spotify or another music source. However, when I try to switch the audio back to my TV, it says “living room tv does not support that”.  I have tried changing the name in the Alexa app and in the Sonia app, neither has worked. I have found a couple work around but they both take a couple manual steps - I want to change between the two verbally and without the need for remotes or restarting systems. This should not be this hard. Please help!

I  have a Sonos Beam connected to my Sony TV and usually control the volume by asking Google.  It it still working but rather than asking Google to increase the volume to say 4 or 5 I now have to ask for volume to increase to 60 or more.  I don’t think I’ve changed anything but maybe I’ve done something weird?  I also sometimes change volume through my iPhone (mentioning this in case it’s relevant).  Can anyone shed some light on this please?Many thanks

I have a Sonos Arc which is connected to LG TV and Amazon Alexa. It wakes at random, mostly when somebody is speaking but not using the word “Alexa”.  My Echo Dot devices only respond to the word “Alexa”.  Also, when awakening Sonos Arc emits a loud tone which is disruptive and annoying when I am watching/listening to the TV.Firstly, how do I eliminate the random waking? Secondly, how do I eliminate or reduce the volume of the waking tone?
