Previously I used to use my Playbar, sub and two Play 1s to mimic 5.1 at my old house. I recently moved and at my new house there are 4 JBL ceiling speakers, 2 (L+R) at the halfway mark between the TV and where we sit on the couch and another 2 behind the couch (L and R as well). So I'm wondering what my best setup will be if I use my existing Sonos speakers and the 4 wired speakers.1. I definitely want the rear two to be part of my Sonos system. 2. Could I use the middle speakers (between the couch and TV) as Front L+R, use the back ones as rears and have my two Play 1s paired but in the backyard as a different zone? 3. Is there any configuration where I will not be able to use my Sonos sub with wired speakers in the mix?

When is SONOS going to listen to its customers and stop this TUNE IN catastrophy ? As mentionned in numerous posts on this blog, Tune In regularly fails to access my radio (France Musique, French public classical music) . But when it does, i have to support their advertisements, although France Musique is a Public radio and DOES NOT HAVE PUBLICITY ! This means the Tune In ad revenus go totally in Tune In and, probably, SONOS pockets ! Considering we have all bought SONOS products without any mention of the obligation to have publicity when using them, this is the biggest scam i have yet met in the hi-fi business. All my SONOS products are now on sale on internet, and I strongly advise not to buy anything from this society on social media. If we all do likewise, maybe they will listen...

Was enjoying DTS codec in some blu rays like Top Gun, Fury n Jurrasic Park all these while after Sonos enabled this feature. After watching TOP GUN Maverick, decided to watch the original movie again n was shocked to find out that Sonos has a bug in this codec after the latest firmware update.  Rear n sub stopped. Sonos support advised me to reboot but issue still persisted.  Anyone else has this issue? 

Why is the customer service and support so terrible?

How is it that the support rep knows less about the product than I do? They do nothing but read a script, go through the motions and have absolutely nothing to offer in the way of actual support. Why would I be asked to submit a diagnostic from a device that is non-functioning?! Is there some magic I am unaware of that allows this to be possible??Please, please, give these people some training. I wasted an hour+ of my life and accomplished nothing. The Sonos hardware is going in the garbage and I will find a different solution.

Why why why The led has 10 states ... Red green orange blue yellow .... blinking not blinking slow fast lol Seriously did u design this on another planet or only pilots can use this thing Heard of apple ! Heard of KISS ...ok sounds lives upto its promise but it is more temperamental than my last 10 girl friends Please hire some humans and not just acqusitic geeks from Cambridge  ... 

One of the main issues (except the samba 1 only support), is the difficulty to fine adjust the volume in the S2 app, sure you have the lever to pull, but it’s a lot of work to adjust one step. It had been nice is there had been a [-] and [+] in the S2 app to adjust the volume one step up or down. Another thing I have an issue with regarding the volume, it seems like there are volume levels that are like mute, I have to pull up my volume to 5 before the speaker makes any sound at all and I can tell it’s not the most quiet volume on my Play:1’s, bit too loud for falling asleep to and I have disabled the loudness for the speaker pair (feels like when in pair the volume is a lot louder than if separated). Maybe this is a hardware issue and not a software issue, but I hope it’s the later for then it would be possible to fix it.

Hello,I would like to request the following features:I would like the ability to autoplay a group from a line in connection. I see that we have the ability to autoplay a room, but I want to be able to automatically have SONOS play my line in throughout my entire SONOS system w/out having to select anything in the SONOS app. I would also like to be able to see my SONOS groups on the airplay menu. Can anyone confirm if SONOS is looking into these features?

Can somebody explain to me how this issue can be rectified? Seems that it had been a problem a year ago and yet it still occurs. This is the previous thread created;

Hi ALL Can we use Sonos Ray with optical to HDMI Converter  if possible or valuable in the market.And if yes , then is it ok to use the optical to HDMI converter ? And can we use Ray as in surround speaker for Sonos 5.1 setup yes or no ?? Please Suggest.   

I have heard a rumour that Sonos are going to release the above in the near future. Does anyone know if it's true?If so will it be able to play Dolby Atmos content through the headphones?It's a shame that I can't use my current headphones (Sony MDR-7506 Professional) as there's nowhere to plug them in and they do offer great sound quality!I sometimes like to listen to music or watch a movie late in the evening and I can't unless I turn the volume right down as I have neighbours both sides with kids and I don't want to fall out with the neighbours lol

Has anybody else been experiencing delivery delays for the Roam? I ordered the green one as soon as it was available on May 11, and still haven’t received a tracking number or any confirmation that it has been shipped (despite the status showing as shipped for a couple weeks now online). I’ve spoken to customer service at least 4 times, and on 2 separate occasions a was told that it would be shipped out and overnighted to me the very next day. I’ve asked each customer support rep to send me follow up emails confirming what we discussed (including a 10% discount for the delivery delays) but that hasn’t happened. I never received an email that the order was even delayed, and it hasn’t shown as backordered online since I first ordered it. I was told there were issues with an internal system update and a backlog of orders, but I haven’t seen any other recent record of this online. 

Has anyone experienced with Sonos 100 days satisfactory return policy? (Sonos Australia) I was not satisfied by Sonos Immersive Set with Arc $2916.00 and returned within 100 days as per  their instructions. They confirmed receiving the return stock on 29 April 2022. They said all they need to do is to “check in” their warehouse system then the refund will be done.I emailed and followed up and they ignored my emails with NOT A SINGLE REPLY to me. I called them since 30 April and not a single person picked up the calls. Sometimes they even shut their phone system so you could not call and the calls would be disengaged straight away.Finally, a staff picked up my call on 11 May 2022 and advised the same. They received the returned stocks ……. When I asked him so when I would receive my full refund he would not promise at all. He only said the same “as long as the warehouse check them in the refund would be done by then”Until now 12 May 2022 I still haven’t received my refund at all. It is t

Hi,I wanted to setup home theater system,I  decided to replace my independent hifi b&w speakers and amplifier...I wanted to have home theater system but wanted to use a single setup for both movie & music...I decided to go with Sonos beam gen 2 after reading online reviews...On first day, I was excited and it sounds good as well due to it's surround as compare to my previous stereo setup...But it's low & mids are not at all clear or audiophile...I felt like just average some low cost speakers...I tried all different settings, switching on speech enhancement,it increased the mids but it also increased the vocal high which was not pleasant to hear balanced frequencies...Tried different EQ settings but still was average....I wanted to keep it and wished to hear neutral from this speaker,but after trying many different settings I gave up,It's very disappointing and I can't listen it for more time,it's harsh on my ears..Dolby Atmos is not at all useful it's just Spec but I felt

Ok so the question is pretty simple, I’m debating upgrading my two play ones to play fives or adding a sub (gen3) to my pre-existing gen1 assuming that they work together and are compatible in the newer double sub setup. How much difference is one sub compared to two (I’ve head there is basically no difference between a gen 1 and 3 but rather a bigger difference between one or two units) and how big of a difference is upgrading my play ones to play fives, which should I do any input?

I am thinking of replacing this system with Bose. For at least three months now we have been unable to connect to Spotify. Connection lost. It plays half a song or a bit more then cuts out. I have rebooted the router, set up the Sonos system again removed and reapplied Spotify accounts all to no avail. It used to work well with the Sonos 1 controller but am unable to revert to that as it doesn’t allow me the option. This system needs sorting as I am not the only one with this issue and you can tell am extremely frustrated that a system that used to work no longer works. Without being able to use a streaming service the Sonos is useless to us.

Your move, Sonos. The 2/25 backorder date has come and gone to ship the Immersive Set with Arc, without any update on when customers can expect the items to ship. How many customers now have Sonos wall mounts installed in their houses without the Sonos products?I haven't heard about shipping issues in over a month. There aren't ships sitting in an LA harbor. The pandemic is over. What's the deal? Please provide an update on when customers can expect to receive their shipments. We've been patient, but this is approaching disrespectful.

I now have 4 speakers that are now eligible for upgrade.  Can the % available on each of the speakers be consolidated so for example if I have 3 speakers offering 15% each, does that mean I can get 45% off one speaker if I upgrade? I hope this makes sense. Cheers

Seeing their is no Sonos Discord (or not one I am aware of) and the Sonos Reddit seems to be it’s own little thing, I thought I would try and add a little fun to the Forum here seeing everything is all issues, complaints, etc.. Sonos feature request.  With the recent anniuncement of a budget soundbar, the Sonos S36 Soundbar (Fury), Sonos appears to be focusing on soundbars for TV audio.I personally find this disappointing.What I would love to see is the capability to connect 2 Play 1s/One SLs/Ones to a TV for Audio.Why? I want 1 product that will provide a great Audio experience for movies and music. In my opinion a soundbar can't provide that, particularly for music. A stereo pair provides better stereo separation and a wider sound stage and therefore a better audio experience than a soundbar.I do recognise the challenges of video and audio syncing over WiFi. Could this be accomplished with a new Sub that connects to the TV by HDMI eArc, and the stereo pair feeds off the Sub over WiFi?I'm picturing a new, smaller sub connected by HDMI eArc, a One SL and a One. 2.1 audio experience providing a superior audio experience over a Beam.Option for another 2 One SLs for rears to provide 4.1. Or maybe even proper 5.1

Hey Sonos Community, Just providing a feature request — “Full” or “Multi-Stereo” output from TV would be amazing. I know Sonos surround systems do this for music inputs, but they won’t do it for TV.  My use case is I listen to a lot of music on my Apple TV and currently my Beam surround system up-mixes stereo to Dolby Surround. This sounds terrible in my opinion — really washy, it cuts in and out and puts all of the sound on the beam instead of across all of the speakers evenly.  My suggestion to Sonos is a simple toggle button under the “Surround Audio” menu on the Sonos App that says “Don’t up-mix stereo sources to Dolby Surround”.  It’d fit well under the current setting for “Music Playback” as “Full” or “Ambient” under the same menu.  Thoughts? Sonos can we make this a thing?
