I have Sonos s2 app on my system with 3 sonos ones, and 2 roams.  When I try to search for music on the app, I can usually only type a few characters before the text is deleted.  It seems to be related to the search function on the app. It's as if when the app is trying to search while I'm typing, as it's returning the results, it automatically selects the text I'm typing, which is then overwritten by the next character.  Sometimes I get a couple characters to stay, and they are highlighted (selected).  If I don't tap in the search bar to unselect the text, if I type another character it deletes/overwrites the text.

I've seen other posts about this, but they did not have a solution.

I use the S1 app at work, no issues.

Very disappointed in the S2 "upgrade"

I have never experienced this issue on S2. Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the Sonos app?

I believe this is Android-specific, and on specific devices (with broken on-screen keyboards), based on Reddit posts. Hard to be sure as the OP didnt supply those details.

I've read that post, but it does not fix the problem.  I'll try and gather more information.  This is not the only sonos system I use, I use another on the s1 app, no issues.
