Hello Sonos Community,I'm reaching out in hopes that someone here might be able to guide me or share similar experiences.About 2 weeks ago, I purchased a set of Sonos speakers online. However, due to a change in plans, I tried canceling my order with the intent of buying from a local Bestbuy. Unfortunately, my cancellation didn't go through in time, and the speakers were shipped to me.I've decided to return them (they're unopened and within the return period). The challenge has been getting the return shipping labels. Despite numerous interactions with Sonos Sales representatives over the past week, I haven't been able to get these labels. Each time I've been assured they're on the way, but they never arrive, and I find myself having to re-initiate the process daily.Has anyone else faced similar challenges? If so, how did you manage to resolve it? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help and understanding.
My play 5 messed up linking to Sonos 1 controller so Sonos has kindly offered to replace it. I now have the challenge of returning from U.K. to Poland. I’m looking for tips / advice as I’m seeing lots of reports of item being returned to sender . My instructions are box item, print address label and 3 copies of performa document.I am unsure of a few things. Do I need to include power cable? Do I sign the performa documents? Instructions say to give these to the ups driver when he collects but I’ve read that people have attached these to parcel in a see through wallet. (Often parcel still getting returned).Any advice appreciatedmany thanks Jane
So I have been running S1 & S2 simultaneously for awhile now. I am now ready to fully jump to S2. I have some SONOS playlist though on my S1 that I would like to move to S2. Is that possible. I still have one device running the S1 software.
One of my dream wireless home theater setups would be along the lines of the Sony HT-A9. I would really love it if Sonos could make a simple HDMI eARC connect box to connect a stereo pair of any of the current Sonos speaker offerings to a TV. I would especially love it if said box would be able to connect 4 Era 100s or 4 Era 300s for a cohesive, powerful surround sound setup. A phantom center channel would be perfectly adequate considering these speakers have excellent vocal clarity.
Greetings,My current setup includes a Sonos Beam and a few Play / One models that I would like to put together in my living room. I currently have a CD player and a TV that share the Beam using an HDMI switch. This works, but the drawbacks are:“TV volume is fixed”, which means I can’t use the remote control to change the sound (so either I walk to the Beam or I have to use my phone); the CD player outputs is music solely to the Beam, as expected from the setup of course.I would like to be able to play my CDs in the same way that I play my local FLAC files on my system: selecting which outputs should be use, setting up the volume of each device individually or globally, etc. Is there a reasonably priced CD player that could be used for that? I understand that I could buy a Sonos Port and connect my current CD player, but the price deters me. I don’t care about streaming services. Blu-Ray capabilities would be a plus as I have a few 5.1 records in that format.I welcome suggestions from e
Having dropouts. Can’t put my finger on why. Here are the facts: I have the following Sonos equipment:Sonos Boost - Hardwired into an ethernet switch in the garage, where my router is, at the front of the house. Sonos SL - in the same garage as Boost and router - not wired. No ethernet available. Sonos Arc, subwoofer and two Play:1 in my theater, basically the next room moving back towards the house. This is not wired, but could easily be wired as I have a backhaul to my router Sonos Base, two Play:1 speakers in the family room. This room is basically in the middle of my house. None of theses speakers are wired to ethernet but could easily be. Again, I have a backhaul to the router Off the family room is the Kitchen. I have one Sonos One SL. Not wired, No Ethernet available Sonos One SL in the Master Bathroom at the very back of the house. Not wired, no ethernet available. In the near future, there will be 3 Gen 2 Sonos Connects which will stream to three sets of outdoor speakers.
Hey Everyone,I'm reaching out in frustration regarding an order I placed with Sonos in the second week of July 2023. It had 5 items - 2xEra 300, 2xStands, Subgen3. Despite it being August now, I'm still waiting for my items to arrive.I've been chasing their customer support for updates - over 12 times to be exact. All I've been receiving are empty promises of delivery and countless apologies. It's become increasingly clear that they're all talk and no action.Their behavior is incredibly unprofessional and goes against the grain of what customer service should be. At this point, I'm not just disappointed, I'm outright aggravated.Any advice on what steps I can take to resolve this situation? I'm all ears. Thanks in advance.
Got a new Wi-Fi setup. There is a router and extender all with the same network name. Works fine for tablets, etc. Three Sonos are near the router and one is near the extender. the app can usually connect to one version of the network or the other but has trouble finding the Sonos devices depending on which network it uses. I would have thought that was a fairly standard set up these days but it looks like Sonos struggles with it. Are they likely to fix it?
I'm running a ZP90, S1 Connect, Move, Play 3 and a Bridge on the S1 app. Both PC and on the phone. As I understand it, my S2 capable equipment is not getting any updates beyond what my S1 gear is capable of processing. Can't say I've had any real issues. I'm not very worried about higher resolution at this point. I like having all of the equipment working together in a whole house scenario. That said, having S2 equipment isolated from all but rudimentary updates makes me wonder what potential improvements I may be missing out on. I could split into two systems but I like playing everything together. Should I worry about this if I'm not having any noticeable performance issues?
After moving over to giggaclear fibre broadband every smart device connected to my new Linksys mesh giggaclear router except for my sonos soundbar and seperate speakers. Days of trying to reconnect did not work. Today I have spent 4hrs speaking to broadband provider and finally sonos support. For anyone else who has a similar problem here is the fix. Sonos Only likes connecting to 2.4ghz where the new router sends out 5ghz. Speak to your broadband support and they will show you how to split the 5ghz and 2.4ghz into two separate networks, this is actually really simple and I'm no tech head. Then make sure your sonos app has the latest updates. Factory reset each sonos product (do this one at a time) - Instructions on you tube for this very simple. Then the device you use to open the app make sure it is connected to the 2.4ghz connection (rename this your sonos 2.4ghz connection)Go through the new set up instructions and it will work. Apply this process to each sonos product you have. It
Using the Sonos App 15.2 version is not the experience I expected from Sonos. Some of the controls like the Surround Audio sliders are jumpy and can’t be hardly controlled. Sometimes when I control the Music Level slider the TV level slider jumps as well. This happens on other screens like the EQ with the 2 sliders as well.I experience this on my iPad and iPhone (both on iOS 15.4)
Sonos will always be the company that opened my eyes to not truly owning electronic products that can be manipulated by the company. I’m talking older legacy products that aren’t supported. the 25% off a S2 compatible products is an absolute joke. At least let us combine the percentages on a new product. So turn in 4 to get a free S2 compatible speaker. I think I have seen 25% off sales (not 100 percent sure). So, when is the S3 app coming out to replace the S2 equipment? just ranting as S1 app is kicking me to a screen to go S2 after moving to a new house.
Just upgraded to three Era 100s, and have a Move. Spectrum just upgraded to Sagemcom SAX1V1S router which doesn't seem to be compatible with my system. Recommendations for a new router?
I Would love to use my 2 x Subs (Paired) with my 2 x Fives (paired)for a wide base. Trueplay on that, and would be wonderful. The use of dual Subs should be unlocked!
Hi everyone. just thought it would be interesting to find out how long you have been using Sonos and what got you into the system. I will go first ☺️:I’ve only had my system since Feb 2022 and it started with me upgrading my TV to an LG OLED. I wanted a nice sound bar to improve the sound and settled on the Beam Gen 2. Quickly after I ended up with 2 One SLs as surrounds and then a Sub Gen 3 joined in the fun. Since then, I’ve gone a bit mad and now own many speakers all around my house. I’ve also always been passionate about music, more so than films so it made sense for me to ditch my very old 1980s hifi system and get a couple of Fives (this was actually the next Sonos step for me after the HT arrangement), to hook up to my turntable, which was much newer than my other hifi components. Immediately the sound was greatly improved from my old tired separates. I quickly bought a nice new little CD player to hook up to the other Five. What Sonos has done for me is get me back into l
Hi all,I have recently upgraded my Amazon music account to HD paid subscription. Reading other threads it appears that Sonos does indeed work with Amazon HD Music. My question is : Does the Sonos controller inform us when a HD song is being played? I have found it does on the native amazon music player app (on phone and laptop). I use both the phone and the laptop and neither seems to display that a HD song is being played….I thought it was possibly to do with my old S1 system. However I have a new S2 setup and the same thing is true…Both systems are up top date, latest firmware and software etc. Sonos S1 with ZP 80 into a DenonSeparate system: Sonos S2 with arc, sub, etc Thanks.
Looking at my Sonos setup and considering the new non-SonosNet 100 and 300 speakers (applies to the Roam and Move too.) If I added them I’d now have to have both a WiFi channel and a SonosNet channel in my home.If I had the ability to switch off just the SonosNet function on wired Sonos, but not the whole radio, then my non-wired SonosNet capable speakers would connect to WiFi instead, eliminating the need for the SonosNet channel.I do have the option to remove the Ethernet from my wired Sonos to disable SonosNet but I’d really prefer to keep them wired for the best possible connection.
Hey all.I just upgraded my Beam G1 to G2. I was thinking if it would be good to use the Beam G1 as well with the G2? I have G2 and two Symfonisk for surround. Would using G1 make a better sound if I have them together in a living room and connected to our TV?Your thoughts?Cheers!
The LatinX terminology does not exist for any Latin/Hispanic person in the world. As a hispanic or latin person, the X at the end is just alienating real users, confusing others, and making a fool of whoever came up with the great idea of including it as a category in Sonos Radio. We do not need anyone re-writing our language. Thank you

In May I attended an event in London, where the Speakers Corner Quartet, in collaboration with Sonos, hosted an intimate preview launch of their recently released album 'Further Out Than the Edge' at Portico Studios.Music is a powerful tool for amplifying our emotions - we all know that feeling when the hairs on our arms rise at a well-timed beat dropping or a sad song perfectly summing up our situationship. Scientifically known as “frisson” (more commonly known as “getting the chills”), this powerful emotional response triggers the release of dopamine in your brain that causes a wave of intensity washing over the body — an unfiltered moment of max emotion that leaves us feeling more. I love that feeling and I experienced it several times during the event in London. At this event, the guests experienced a spatial audio journey, hitting all the different senses, first encountering an installation of the band’s homemade robots that played instruments live in the backyard, which then led
It might be nice to be able to not only state on our Profiles which speakers we have, but also the numbers of each 😃Just a thought…………………….
Hi all,Have you seen the event? If not you can find the Era Q&A session here.Unsure what to ask Ross & Ryan at the Era event? We have some content to inspire your questions. Our own community announcements for Era 100 and Era 300 are a great place to start, and the global Era announcement is a great follow-up for all the details. We also have a great guide on the Era family created by Ed Gillet, that dives a bit deeper into the Era family. Some new questions might have come up with all the “basic” information covered. What questions do you have for Ryan Moore and the team about Era 100 and 300? Anything that comes to mind? Anything new you want to know?Looking forward to seeing you there!Did you miss the livestream? Don’t worry you can watch the recording here: https://www.sonos.com/en-us/sonos-live
