The new Sonos app does not have ‘means’ to connect  to Media Server, the old one was connected and I had favorites Audio from my Media Server, but now with the new one it lost that ability and all my favourites are NOT connected.  Please bring back the Media Server connection. 

I just downloaded the new app on my iPad. When I go to the ‘’System Settings’->’Your System Manage’->’Network’ screen, there are NO networks. The network used by my previous app is functioning, but does not show up. There appears to be no way to initiate a network discovery, so i’m screwed… i can no longer access my NAS, which ios my main music source. Does anyone know how to fix this, or how to revert to the previous IOS app? This release is evidently a total travesty, in looking at all of the recent threads

In the old version of the App I could modify/delete songs I didn't want to hear from curated playlists. This function was available, a long with many others that seem to no longer exist.  Did Sonos do any regression testing?!?!? Are they hiring any because I could certainly help out - I don't think I could make it worse. This embarrassing meltdown makes this loyal customer and shareholder rethink the purchase of the Sonos headphones. 

Hi,When is the new App being updated / can it be removed? I have the new App downloaded and now my App will not link to my Speakers until ‘software updates’ are carried out - which it is unable to do?? So i’m now stuck in a situation where i can’t use my system as a result of the new App?? The old App worked perfectly well and so this is extremely frustrating.

Why with the new app we're not able to use the sleep timer or shuffle our Playlist?

New app is absolutely rubbish. My playlist are missing and the QUEUE is missing completely.i have to use my old iPad to play and add music to my Queue. If I could get the old version back I would definitely go back to the old version. This new version is absolutely garbage 

Unbelievable that the timer has been eliminated with this update!!!   STUPID.   Sonos goes from a 10 to a 2 in one update.   fix it back.   Thank you if you do. 

Does anyone think the new app sucks?? I can’t connect my tv now, system is not user friendly 

When I put in my details to login on the new app it does not login it just keeps saying login. I have deleted and downloaded the app. I have reset the app I have turned off WiFi I have reset all speakers changed passwords. Not having any luck what so ever. I am no longer able to use my sonos system. What a waste of time. I have tried allsorts through troubleshooting.  Help please*Moderator Note: Modified title in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.*  

What is point of the new app?It has stopped my system working and does not support features available for years!It does not work with Sonos Boost.You cannot set alarms.It cannot use the network drive that was previously set up in the previous app or add it in now.You cannot go back to previous version of app that had all the features. To get system working I have had to use a speaker to replace the Boost - rather than act as a speaker which it was purchased for.The missing features in the app make the system unusable.No return method to the working previous app version is unacceptableThe work around to use a pc to get around the deficient app is appalling.

I urge you to reconsider the recent update to the Sonos app and evaluate the possibility of reverting to the previous version. The new version has failed to meet user expectations and appears to have been developed without adequate consideration for customer needs. The added functionalities do not offer significant added value and have generated widespread negative feedback. This direction could cost you the loyalty of valuable customers and damage the reputation you have worked hard to build. I am willing to give you another chance to rectify this situation. However, if timely changes are not made, we as users will find ourselves obliged to discourage the use of your products.

I have just unfortunately downgraded to the new app which is dreadful. For some unknown reason, every time I open the app it tries to play music on my conservatory speaker which I have probably not used since Christmas. There does not appear to be any way to stop this.

The New app is too buggy We just upgrade a customer and now he can’t use Sonos at alli tried tech support but the wait time was 150 mins and it disconnected me after almost 2hours waitingplease help!!!!

What have they done. I don't usually post on this type of forum, but the update is such a backwards step it is important to add my weight to the outpouring. Can't find playlists easily, can't edit play lists when I do find them, playlists always revert to the top of the list when revisiting the list (very irritating having to scroll back to the track playing each time!), can't add new tracks to my sonos or Spotify playlists (very important!). There is no way this is an improvement. Why can't you leave things alone! Think.... user first, techs who think they know best second! Please reintroduce some of the old, but loved features - quickly!

The latest update seems like change for the sake of change. I can’t find things. It seems as though some things are missing, etc., etc.  I am getting extremely frustrated with systems changing and making me constantly try to make things work after system “improvements”!

I DOWLOADED THE NEW SONOS APP AND IT SAYS IT FOUND MY EXISTING SYSTEM. THEN IT SAYS TO ALLOW NETWORK ACCESS WHICH I DID BUT IT DOES NOT CONNECT.!!!!!!!!!MY SYSTEM IS NOW RENDERED ABSOLUTELY USELESS. 

I have lost all my playlists after downloading the new Sonos app. I am absolutely mortified do Sonos realise they will not have a business if they do not resolve this enormous issue.They also need to build back in the ability to create a playlist and add and subtract to a playlist otherwise I will get rid of Sonos altogether. Is anyone organising a petition?

I have recently moved back to the UK from Spain.  I have tried to change the address on my Profile but the country box is greyed out.  So I can enter the street address but not the country.  This means I am denied access to UK content such as BBC Sounds.   How can I change the country?

'Common sense would be to heed the adverse feedback on the new app and revert to the old version, which had few issues being raised. Or at least give the user the choice.I know that 'Sonos knows best' is value often perceived by customers but carrying on regardless over this issue could be huge distraction and add to what must be a worrying time for the company.Show some courage Sonos... Withdraw the new App'

When I open the Sonos app dozens and dozens of times every day, and today, every time I opened the SONOS app, I wanted to throw my SONOS products out into the street.All I wanted was my music, my playlists, and an intuitive app to control them. Seems like a good thing for your brand.  /sarc
