When are you going the bring the s2 App back? The new app is absolutely horrible.  I see millions of complaints coming.  Please give us the option to keep the S2 app.

The old S2 app isn’t coming back. Sonos will update the new app over time and gradually bring back some of the missing features. Read this:

For what it is worth, the 80.x releases are all S2 apps.

Millions? That's a bit over-dramatic. 1000s maybe.  😜😅

Never had an issue in years of Sonos ownership, until now. Agree that the new app is profoundly useless. Looks like Bose is going to have to make a comeback for me!

I bought 6 Sonos speakers and a connect based on the ability of playing my music in Windows Media.  How to I get my money back?  I believe all this is an intentional scam to get us to only listen to their music with commercials.  Is the income from commercials more important than their promise to purchasers?  Do we need a class action law suit?

To make your voice heard I would suggest emailing the CEO. His email address is quoted on the Sonos website under Support and Contact Us. The more people that write in, the more likely we will get something moving. It really is appealing how customers pour tonnes of money into such expensive equipment just for Sonos to update their app and render so many features useless, whilst also ruining the user interface.

At least with major iOS updates, if you don’t want to update, you don’t enter your password when your iPhone prompts you for the update. In this case, my app updated without even asking me because I had auto update turned on for security patches. Such a massive upgrade for Sonos should have been done in a completely separate app, like S1 and S2 were kept separate on the App Store.

Agreed- really embarrassing for the developers. Every service interface is buggy, freezes constantly, and no local library support? Why bother updating?

Clock is ticking on my Sonos system unless this is fixed soon. Not our job to beta test things for app-curious developers.
