When is enough, enough?

Sonos you need to provide a usable app immediately.May 2024 'brave' release is awful 

 

My guess is that on 7th May they dug a HUGE hole for themselves with the release, then when they tried to ‘fix’ the alarms and issued a firmware ‘upgrade’ too, they dug a deeper hole. Then they kept digging furiously, which is why we didn’t really get any answers in the AMA……………...now it is all hands to those spades, diggers, JCBs etc. to keep digging, in the hope that they will eventually fix the hole, rather than the walls come crashing down. The Android ratings show that the walls are winning - I wonder how their resellers/retailers are feeling and what their sales figures are looking like. Looks like their share price took a nosedive on 8th May but has since recovered a good part of that loss, so maybe their investors trust them more than their customers at the moment.

Whatever the outcome, let’s say in about 6 months time, their reputation has taken a big hit and will no doubt take a while to recover in this community.


I hope sales will collapse including their new headset..

Who would be that stupid to buy a new Sonos (or advise someone to buy one) while you see the disastrous usability of their app and by then of their products.. No matter how good a speaker may be when you spend time to change music, increase or decrease sound.. Favorite not saved, error while loading the app and need to re-open 5 times before it works etc..

Maybe then they'll take the issue seriously.. You have so many bugs in this unstable app that it would already take days to describe them all..
