Sorry to bring up this apparant old chestnut. But I’ve spent 6 weeks with WD and got no where.Using Sonos WIN 10 WD MY Cloud HomeI have a sonos system and am using a WD My Cloud Home as the music server. The private folders for general storage on the WD are visible and in operation. However Sonos is not working either via the service app or via the public folder. The latter is preferred as I believe the WD My Cloud app is no longer working.I did have the puiblic folder visible in WIN 10 explorer and was able to upload a brief library. Sonos can see it and operates fine. Hoever I cannot edit it any more as my PC cannot see the device nor the public folder . IP Scanners show the device and WD discovery works fine. ANY help would be appreciated

I”m creating a viewing area in my basement thats not a dedicated room. I’m planning on using an ARC and sub. For the rear speakers i’m trying to decide between in-ceiling sonos speakers vs Sonos One’s on stands behind the couch. Asthetics aside which will provide better sound?
Hi!I have the following situation.I am in a house with Eero Pro mesh network (total of 4 units, so good coverage). My Arc and Sub are connected to Wifi and have been working with a surround setup well in the past. The house came with built in-wall speakers that I would like to connect as surround speakers to the set up. The TV/speakers are on the 2nd floor, but the cables of the built-in wall speakers go all the way to the basement. The Amp worked without a problem independently. Hower, when I tried to add the Amp as surrounds to the setup, I got the error message “There was a problem adding your surrounds. Check the network connection and make sure your products are powered on”. I have the suspicion that the issue is as follows: The Arc wants to connect via a direct Wifi connection to the Amp, but the Amp is too far away and therefore out of reach to create the connection.Would it help if I tried to run my Sonos setup on SonosNet instead of Wifi (I have 8 devices, so should get ample
Can anyone help direct me to the right Sonos radio stations that play instrumental and sentimental music? Appreciate it. Thanks

Dear community, I have Sonos Playbar, Sonos subwoofer and 2 x Sonos one, the sound is brilliant but Playbar is hidden on the top of TV, subwoofer behind TV, Sonos one speakers on stand at the back, I have no chance to hide them and I don't like it so I decided to sell it and made completely different setup but I am not sure of I am doing it right, my plan is to buy speakers which I can push into the wall and ceiling, it's quite expensive decision so I have to make sure it will be well spent money, first what exactly I do need to buy to make it work well should I keep Playbar and subwoofer ? Second I would like to get cinematic effect is it possible with in wall speakers ? Please advise, thank you, it will be set in room 5m X 3.5m ,TV is on one of the 3.5m wall if that helps and sofa opposite.
I'm thinking about buying a pair of Fives for a stereo pair. I would like to be able to move them occasionally to different rooms and was wondering if they mechanically couple to the stands or do they merely rest on top of them. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hi again.I have an open plan living space that’s divided into two spaces separated by an open door arch. My aim is to have sound in both spaces, probably all linked. The entire space is 38’ (feet) by 10.5’. The 38’ length, as described above, is divided into two rooms, one at 23’ long and another at 15’ long. The bigger room (23’ x 10.5’) has two shelves at the far end (the furthest point away from the joining door arch) and the smaller room has bookshelves at each end of a side wall (the 15’ one) a side wall. The shelves in both rooms are the obvious place for speakers. Hope this makes sense!!I’d like to have a speaker or speakers in both rooms on the shelves described. I’m thinking of two x Ones in each space, giving stereo sound but am wondering if the two x Ones will fill the larger space (23’ x 10.5’). I guess the alternative is to have one or two 5s in the bigger space. What do people think would work best? I don’t think I can stretch to two 5s but could at a push. I don’t have na
We want to play cds on our system. What players have Bluetooth that will work?

Gilles
Can Sonos arc play Dolby atmos through wifi network. By using Apple TV 4K
How does this program work. I have a Beam 1st generation. I'd like a 2nd gen so Sonos is offering a 15% discount. If I take advantage of the upgrade discount do I have to send Sonos my old Beam or can I keep it?
When I open my Sonos 2 app for my multiple speaker set up in the main floor of my home, it sometimes detects my Sonos 1 set up in the basement and goes to an Options screen. Going to the choices, one can open the Sonos 1 controller, delete, set up, and so on, but then one cannot use the Sonos 2 app or speakers with this dialog open.So far, to resolve it, I have rebooted the device I have the app installed, and this sometimes “fixes” it.Also, in the the Sonos 1 controller, I play something on the speakers there, then go back to the Sonos 2 app on the device, it will now open separately and have been able to play the set up speakers on Sonos 2. I then stop the Sonos1 player. So, the question is, why is Sonos 2 detecting and attempting to set up my Sonos 1 capable speakers which are already on a Sonos 1 system? Is there any part of the Sonos 2 app that will allow me to shut this feature off? Also, both systems are on the same WIFI network.
J'ai téléchargé l'appli sonos sur mon téléphone pour contrôler Deezet, mais impossible d'accèder à "Services et Voix"Tout est grisé
Problem - My Sonos app says I’m getting Stereo PMC audio only. It also sounds like that. Set up - LG CX (eArc) - Sonos Arc (part of a full 5.1 setup) - PS5 playing 4K UHD disc (Bladerunner 2049) Expectation - Thought I should be getting Dolby 7.1 audio output. Any ideas why the app say PMC?
Hi Peeps,I have a port with powered b&o speakers. I want to add a turntable and assume I won’t need a pre-amp or amp as the speakers are powered. Is this correct? Or am I a silly newbie who doesn’t know what I’m talking about?
Two weeks ago Amazon Music was launched in Colombia and Chile. However I cannot add that service yet in Colombia.Press release: https://press.aboutamazon.com/news-releases/news-release-details/amazon-announces-launch-amazon-music-colombia-and-chile-giving/ When will Amazon Music be available in the Sonos App in Colombia?
My TV room sound system currently has a Sonos arc and two Sonos 1 and sound is amazing when watching TV. I want to keep now a much cleaner/simple room and want to replace the two Sonos 1 speakers which sit on the back with Ceiling or Wall speakers. What would be the best recommendation to keep good quality sound surround system for the TV?
I have a Sonos Arc connected via HDMI to an LG OLED C1, with eARC and HDMI-CED enabled. Most things work fine, including the LG magic remote (I didn’t have to do any Universal Remote configuration, it just works) and I only had to change a couple of settings on the TV to get full surround sound working. That said, with the Arc connected I can’t see the volume level - the vertical bar that normally appears when you’re changing the TV volume level. If I disconnect the Arc, I get the vertical bar back, but with the Arc connected then all I see is a + button, a - button and a sound icon when I change the volume level. It works, but that useful piece of information is missing. I can see it on the Sonos app, if I look there, but not on the TV screen. This suggests some kind of communication failure between the Arc and the LG TV, with the actual volume level not being shared. Anybody else seen this or have an idea what might be the problem?
