Hi all,How do you manualy rearange queue order? Is it possible?Thank youNeven
Finally after lots of battles, I have enabled Sonos to play an Apple music track . Two questions: why doesn’t it report what it’s playing and separately: why can’t I edit tracks in my music library - perfectly possible under previous iterations.
Just commenting here. I suppose I’m yet another frustrated user approaching the end of my Sonos relationship. I have mostly wired Sonos amps with a few scattered wireless devices (soundbars and freestanding Sonos speakers. I’ve had constant issues for years. sporadic functionality. Everyone’s answer always seems to be unstable network. But I’m pretty confident that’s not the problem. If so it is the only set of devices that ever has an issue. today I deleted and reloaded the Sonos app rebooted my wireless rebooted all my Sonos devices trying to fix a problem. . Sonos sees titles online just fine, it can see the Devices on my network , but when you go to play a title it stalls and comes back with an error message that says something went wrong. Do t know what that would be because their error messages give you no clue. Nothing seems to work to fix it. I am beyond tired of this s***. Last Christmas before A 200 person party at the house Sonos has been working for days nonstop perfectly
Hello, I’m hoping to tap into the expertise of this forum. We are renovating our basement, currently in the framing stage. We would like 3 independent zones - 1. Gym, 2. Entertainment/Bar area, 3. Golf Simulator. Looking to use all Sonos products and wanted to get input from you all on the best way to setup. Correct me if I’m wrong in this layout:Gym - 2 Sonos in Ceiling Speakers Entertainment Area - 1 ARC, 2 in Ceiling Speakers, 1 Sub Golf Simulator - 1 Arc 2 in Ceiling Speakers, 1 SubControl room would require 3 Sonos Amps. This is the layout i’m thinking about:Much appreciate any insight to my flawed thinking.
Hello, As Sonos claims to make the new s2 app more user friendly and customable. please allow users to add their streaming radio url’s. Tunein is horrible. I don’t wat to pay for a relay to listen commercial free.Just counted the commercials during one tune turner song! 3 times !! 3 times serious a commercial for Disneyland Paris! So disturbing. so Sonos, allow users to add streaming urls. regards, willem
My amp just stopped working out of nowhere, I assumed it was just another “sonos” issue with updates and that maybe it would sort itself the next time i go to use it...it did not. I can not get my app to find the device and it had just disappeared from my list. I dove in for a better look and noticed that it is not showing any sign of life (no white, orange, green lights). I check the surge protector and all other devices and they all are working as they should be. I unhooked it completely and moved to a different outlet and the still nothing.Called Sonos, dealing with rude customer service, and being given little to no helpful information. The service person “Michal” mumbles that what sounds like “you (I) must have done something, that I will need to buy another”. I explained this device sits on a shelf, I did not do anything to this, it has been working , and correctly hooked upped. Due to the fact the device is over 1 year old we (sonos) can not replace it or repair it, the only opti
Hi, I am looking to connect a projector sitting at the back of my living room to an Arc soundbar mounted on the wall at the front of the room. Originally I was considering running a HDMI cable through the ceiling to connect the eARC port from the projector to the eARC port in the Arc soundbar, but then I was looking at the Sonos AMP and thought that might be an option. The projector i’m looking at has Google TV so I can stream directly from it.Can someone confirm if the scenario below would work?Projector connected to the AMP via the HDMI ARC port. AMP connected to the Arc soundbar via wifi. Sound would run from the projector, through the AMP to the Arc soundbar. So I’d be able to transmit the sound from the projector to the soundbar wirelessly with the help of the AMP, saving me a lot of trouble (and cost) with running HDMI through the walls and ceiling. Would this work? Any drawback/limitation to this I should be aware of?
I have arc sub and 2 era 300. Are well put in the room ? Maybe era 300 too mutch hight? I use for games and Dolby Atmos film and music. Better to use era 100 as surround and use era 300 in another room? And do you suggest to put a second subwoofer? Thanks in advance ..any suggestion is appreciated
I’m hoping to get the following setup:ARC home theater set up with two wireless surrounds and sub in FR In-ceiling speakers with amp in Kitchen In-ceiling speakers with amp in DRWe’re not hard-core audiophiles but would like music and tv to sound good. We also would like flexibility so, for example, sometimes listening to the t.v. In FR and kitchen but sometimes having t.v. on in FR while music streaming in the kitchen. DR may be streaming something else? So, I guess my question is (and apologies if it’s been answered and/or is naive) whether this is the right setup (or *a* right setup) for this? Is there something I should be concerned about in this configuration? Many thanks for any help.
I’m building a large automotive shop on my property to work on and store my cars & motorcycles. The building is 120’ L x 60’ W x 16’ H. It’s all open with no interior walls. What kind of solution would I need to have significant coverage in this space. Can you have a bunch of Five speakers and (2) Subs all controlled in one space? Since its a big rectangle could you have (6) fives and a sub on each end?I’m not sure how they would be configured in the app. Thanks, BillMac
I’m looking to make a big purchase soon for the beam and sub mini.last year I seem to recall a 40% sale around September. Is there any information or insight into whether they will run this again?? Thanks in advance for your help.jay
Hi everyone. In our basement we have our OLED, Arc, two SW and two Era 300s. We really love the sound. We do have an issue with the room being a bit of a strange shape, so we thought about putting in a divider to wall off the theatre portion of the room. We would really like to use a fabric divider on a track that we can open and close, however the concern is this might not work well since the Arc and the 300s depend on reflecting sound. Would they both still work effectively or would any type of fabric divider damping the reflecting sound too much? Would Truplay take care of this issue? Is there a different alternative we should be looking at? Thank you! Charles P.S. I have Android controllers and have been investigating rolling back to S1 in search of stability and the functions I got used to over the years which have now disappeared.I dug an old P5 and an old Android tablet out of storage and set up the S1 App on the tablet from the App Store and on my Win 10 PC from Sonos’ website. Setup went smooth as silk (I didn't even have to power off my S2 speakers, everything on the same sub-net) and I now have S1 v11.14 build 572150280 on both my PC and the tablet and S1 v11.14 build 572151190 firmware on the P5. Sonos Radio was there already and I installed Amazon Music, BBC Sounds and the excellent iBroadcast having spent 5 days uploading my library to it non-stop over my pitifully slow broadband connection. All these work perfectly and I thought I was on a roll. Then I went to hook up to my music library copies of which, for whatever reason, sit on two separate Synology NAS units, both of which are on ethernet connections. My S2 system runs off one o
I have owned a Sonos since they were featured on Queer Eye donkeys years ago. I have owned the original CR100 controllers and updated to the new series 3 years ago. How the f$%k do I select a different room to control without switching whats playing in my current room?I really hope all the people involved with the new app are burned at the stake. If asked, I now actively discourage people from buying a Sonos product. Cant even figure out on mobile how to change music… I have to go to the desktop app. Associated Product: ---------------------------------Beam: BasementPlay:1: Basement (LS)Play:1: Basement (RS)Play:3: Basement StorageSonos One: Ellas SonosPlay:1: James SonosSonos Move: Jeremy Office (R)Sonos Move: Jeremy Office (L)Sonos Five: Kitchen (L)Sonos Five: Kitchen (R)Sonos Five: Living Room Sonos (RS)Sonos Arc: Living Room SonosSonos Five: Living Room Sonos (LS)Beam: Master BedroomSub: SubSub Mini: Sub MiniSonos One: Williams Sonos
I posted this in another topic, but it seemed that it required its own topic, as I couldn’t find any existing posts about it: Yes, in addition to the multiple copies of albums, which appears to happen due to multiple artists on an album, the track listings are also screwed up due to multiple album artists. And YES, I HAVE “SORT FOLDERS BY” SET TO “SONG NUMBER”. Just wanted to clarify. The track listings are now sorted by the “Artist” meta data and then the track number. Here’s an example from my library from Tha Alkaholiks album “21 & Over” - this is the order of the tracks listed and the Artist metadata, so you can see how the sorting is broken by sorting on the Artist. All the meta data for these tracks are fine - the track listing is displayed correctly in the Apple Music application, but here’s what Sonos displays for the track order: Track 02 - Tha AlkaholiksTrack 03 - Tha AlkaholiksTrack 04 - Tha AlkaholiksTrack 08 - Tha AlkaholiksTrack 09 - Tha AlkaholiksTrack 07 - Tha Al
Why is the new app so bad. I can’t clear the queue of music. Does any one know how to do this. Very frustrating.
Hi folks; I have a restaurant with 6 Sonos One’s in the dining room. They want to have the option of using a stereo line level sent to the Ones rather than the app. Is the AMP an option? Is there a piece of (3rd party) hardware available to stream to the One’s? Maybe a raspberry pi?The AMP would be great because then I could get them to add a couple of subs.Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! TIAGlenn
So the following note has been added to the SONOS support topic Use a NAS drive with Sonos. Sonos app version 80.0This setting is not currently available in the Sonos app for iOS or Android, but it will return in a future update. They are forcing the update, and there's no Music Library option in the system menu anymore. This is very frustrating. Very sloppy software development. Is complaining to support my only option to get this enabled again?
Das ganze System mit 9 Komponente lief miserabel und nun habe ich den Boost abgeklemmt…. Und es läuft! Moderator Note - Translation by Google:The whole system with 9 components was running poorly and now I have disconnected the boost... And it works!
I want to create 3 standalone zones in my house and needed some confirmation if I have the right Sonos equipment:Zone 1 - ARC with Sub and 2 Ceiling Speakers + AMPZone 2 - 2 ceiling speakers and AMP (This zone can be tied in with Zone 1 if need be)Zone 3 - ARC with Sub and 2 Ceiling Speakers with + AMPThanks
the app shows no system found and then crashes. All the time.
Same question came up a few years ago in this support channel. Updating seemed to have resolved the issue for him but it dosnt seem to be for me. Anyone experiencing the same issue or have a solution for this? GOAL: Pioneer DDJ-SX > Connect > Playbar
Trying to understand how some of this works. Here is what I know:The Sonos mobile app now supports Lossless audio when playing Apple Music as the source (to supported speakers). It will display a “Lossless” badge to confirm this. Airplay does not support lossless audio, so playing from the Apple Music app and airplaying to Sonos speakers will be lower qualityMy question is… If I play the Apple Music app on my Apple TV 4K (connected to Sonos Beam), it shows that it is playing Lossless (on the tv screen - the sonos app simply just shows that the source is TV HDMI audio). Is the Beam getting lossless audio? More importantly, if I then group the Beam with my other Sonos speakers, will they all then get lossless audio?
So my App (running on a Samsung S21 Ultra) doesn't always show the correct song being played through my speakers. If I pause and then restart, it updates and shows the correct song.Any ideas?
After so many problems with the new app this summer, here’s the latest. There’s no volume control for my alarm. It disappeared when I moved and switched internet service this weekend. Additionally, I’ve had to move twice this summer and find the Sonos app tedious because it has to reset with each new location. Anyway- is there a way to get volume back to my alarm without yet another reset?
